Thank for watching. You should get the correct radius if your measurements are accurate. Just keep practicing. You can also remove 0.5" from your radius. For example if you are to cut out 7 inches for the waist, you should cut 6.5 inches. All the best with your sewing.

Thanks for your lessons ma. Pls I have an issue with the 180 degree. My waist is 30.5 then I added the 2inch zip allowance which gave me 32.5/3.142 then I have 10.3 so 10.3+23(skirt length) =33.3 so is this suppose to be be the length I will use on my own skirt. Thanks as I expect your reply

33.3 is the length of fabric you will put on fold. You measure that across your fabric and mark. Now to cut out your waist, you will measure out your 10.3 from the pointed edge of your fabric, mark that and cut it out. I hope it helps.
