    Please hang the skirt for a few days before hemming it. You will notice some sagging after those days. Then you must adjust the hemline to overcome the unevenness of sagging. I have learned the hard way.

    I’m seeing you don’t really answer any of your questions. But I’m interested in knowing the size fabric used whether 40 60in in width, also how much fabric is used topically for adult small, medium and large.

    • @TaylorMadeDesignsSewing
      @TaylorMadeDesignsSewing  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi I do answer questions. In this video I used a width of 45 inches. A 60 inch fabric is ideal for longer versions of the skirt. Depending on the size of the person you could use 3 yards for small, 4 to 4.5 for median and up to 6 for larger. But it all depends on the length you are working with.

    Pls since you are using 2 half circle skirts to make a full circle skirt why are you dividing each half by 6.28 instead of 3.14

    • @TaylorMadeDesignsSewing
      @TaylorMadeDesignsSewing  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      It’s all in the way I folded . Instead of cutting one full circle by folding into four I cut it in two and I cut two half circle instead. It doesn’t affect affect the radius when I used 6.28 at all. In fact when I join the two together I get the exact measurements. I did it this way so that I could get a side seam so I could add pocket. Try it out and you will see.

    I can't stop saying God bless you for this wonderful tutorial. You are so good in what you do. Even a beginner can understand well. God bless you.
