Some teachers are stingy with there knowledge of composing,, it takes awhile to understand it ,not a lifetime when there's an instructor like U MARC U SHARE IN GREAT DETAIL AND U BREAK IT DOWN EVEN ,DEPENDING ON WHAT UR WORKING ON THAT MAY NEED MORE EXPLAINATION, IM WATCHING, GREAT WORK AND THANK YOU FOR SHARING UR GIFT

Wow... I did the first course with you about a year and a half ago. I literally learned how to get a whole new voice for my music because of your course. And I clicked this video simply for curiosity and I'm amazed at how much I learned from the "3 Egos" part. It was just curiosity, really and you just helped me again in a particular difficult crossroads of my music. Thank you, Marc. You are a class act.
Also, you are a lot better (more natural) on video now than a year and a half ago! :D
Even though you say your are not a fluent English speaker, which I am, you talk really fast.... reminds of my summer holidays as a kid when I would stay at my Uncle's in Cork, Ireland, working a summer job in his shoe shop. I like what you said when people say "Music takes a lifetime!"
I always think people no matter the age can start learning or trying to play music.
I laughed because when I wanted to get into virtual orchestration and composition I was told I need 10,000 hours in it before anyone would listen to a single piece I composed.
And here I am having fun still composing/producing music and I haven't hit 10,000 hours yet :)

Maybe a good name for the "bigger ego" could be "film ego" or "music ego" ? It's the way the film or the film's music takes life by its own identity which the composer has to reveal through his composition ? Just an idea, good video BTW 👍
