Nice video, I’m usually in Manchester at least once or twice a week, those arches in St.Peter’s Square are an iconic shot that every Manchester Street Photographer takes. Love the Tram shots, great colours, one of my favourite things to shoot.

I went to Manchester last Saturday. It was a spur of the moment decision though and I only had an hour so I just hit the Northern Quarter and Piccadilly Gardens. Got a few nice shots but I need to back with a better plan and more time. Like you I was a bit overwhelmed when I first got there.
It's an incredible city for photography! I tried to stick to spots i thought would be quieter as it was a very very busy day! Hoping for a bit of rain nice time i visit as I think it could make for some really nice shots!

Love this video. Amazing to see someone bring out the stylistic side of the place where i live. Coincidentally, i've just bought a used A6000 and am waiting on a Sigma 30mm f/1.4 and a 55-210mm too, so can't wait to get out there and i can only hope to get something near what you got today, currently looking through your other videos for presets etc because some of those colours are just amazing. Apart from that, just a really enjoyable and relaxing video. Going to watch some of your more recent videos now and i can only imagine how far you've come in a year and a half.

Thankyou so much, can't explain how much this kind of comment means to me 😄 Those are some good lens choices and the A6000 is very similar to the A6100 so you should be able to get some incredible shots! I've got quite a few Manchester videos now, but this one is still one of my favourites as it was my first time doing any street photography! Also I mostly used some presets I purchased in this video but now use my own I've created, will be re-launching my online store where you can get them soon so keep an eye out for that 😊 again thankyou so much for this feedback, really helps knowing I've inspired others 🙌

i came across your vids an thank u for your content. cause i have the same camera an i was trying too figure out different ways too make the quality of the photos better but its all about what kind of lens you have on the camera so thank you for this it was very helpful !!!!!!!!!!!

These are amazing! What are your settings on your A6100 for these photos? Do you have a video on that??
Thanks mate! I don't have a video in that unfortunately and I'm now using a different camera! If you check out my newer videos though I do put my settings on screen for each shot, which are very similar to the settings I used on the a6100!
pics turned out gorgeous, you must end up with a thousand photos on your card by the end of the day shooting in burst like that though lol

Question: have you ever shot your a6100 in the rain although it isn't weather sealed?
I've shot in light rain, nothing too heavy! Sandwich bags with a hole for the lens would be my solution for when I do 😊

I’m the guy that has your answer. But I caution you! Your results may very. I’ve shot my a6000 many times in the rain and falling snow, because I love that type of atmospheric look in my photos and videos. Many times I would just wipe off excess water with a cloth. I have also fallen on the camera, it still worked! I actually owned the 6400 but preferred the a6000. After owning my 5th a6000, I gave it to my ex wife and will soon have the a6100. I only wish they would make an aps-c with two card slots like Cannon did.

Hey! I was mostly using the Sony 55-210mm OSS lens for these shots!
Great shots!!! Please suggest some lenses for beginners to use for street photography.
The ones I used in this video are great! I used a 16-50mm and 55-210! I like to use lenses with a nice zoom for street photography but it's really personal preference 😊 for primes 85mm is good for street photography!

Hey, I generally change my settings as I'm going with street photography depending on the amount of light and amount of movement I want in my shots! If you check out some of my more recent POV videos I always post settings on screen 😊

Great photos!! I’ve never been. I’m in the US. Why do you take so many shots at a time?
Thankyou so much! I generally shoot in bursts with street photography to have a good range of shots to choose from with moving subjects such as people!
@@jimmypmedia cool. I do street myself but I tend to look a lot and take one or 2 shots. Helps me be more precise on what I want to shoot

I edit all my photos and this was just my style of editing at the time!

Good photos. The one at 2:44 is a sad commentary of two people sitting at a table by a cafe, absorbed in their cellphones, ignoring each other. One day I want to take photos just of people on their phones walking, running and hopefully not driving cars. I am disgusted with the way cellphones make people braindead.

Thankyou so much for the kind words 😊 for lenses as a beginner I would reccomend the 16-50mm sony kit lens and sony 55-210mm oss lens, these will give you a good range of focal lengths to shoot in! For editing I would recommend lightroom 😊

Depends on what you're after, zoom or prime? Budget?
I might not be the best person to ask as I only had 3 lenses in my time with the a6100, and they were all quite cheap! A channel that reviews camera gear might be your best bet! 😊
