I'm always so terrified to ask someone if they want their picture taken, I feel like here there's no way people are this nice and up for it, am yet to ask maybe once I do it a couple times it'll be fine lol

I have asked people before. You just have to realize a large majority of people will say no or just ignore you completely. But no one will ever say yes if you don’t ask.

85mm is such a good focal length, hard to beat it on full frame 🙌🏻

85MM is really a blessing! I dont know if it is underrated however in my new job as a videoproducer I often end up using it for entire videos. I'd say if the room is a bit cramped I need a 50mm, but otherwise you just have to make room and change positions.

The way you play with light and shadows in your street photography is simply mesmerizing.
Just love the way you show the unedited shot first and then the edited one. Gives us a good clarity of how the shot comes right out of the camera..

I have a sigma 24-70 2.8, a viltrox 85mm 1.8, (and a 60mm pergear for macro, but...) the viltrox was like $400.. and it absolutely CRUSHES it.. I wasn't expecting a cheap* lens to be as amazing as it is. I love it

I LOVE 85mm so much. I really want that Samyang/Rokinon for my Canon R. I’m currently challenging myself to only shoot 50mm this month but I really miss 85.

Such a sick video and lens choice. I love the lighter feel of the Samyang lenses but still shoot crystal clear on the A7rIII i use. I've bene using signals 16 and 30mm art lenses as well, really lighten the load and still draw in some crisp shots!

I suppose we always see things that make us go oh that’s nice it’s nice to look at things from a photographer’s perspective because your looking for them things, see something and instead of just oh that’s cool, it’s see something, oh that’s cool, snap, idk it’s cool.

I own the 85 mm 1.4 Sony GM and it's a real good lens and I love the results but it's heavier and you got a point there...in streets I often use the 35mm because it's lighter.
