Honestly though, I love captain falcon and his representation for f zero (super underrated lol)
The problem with each Smash tutorial is that they don't show you on screen the most important. THE CONTROLLER! It's really important to know the real time buttons sequence and time.

@@zzzhuhhat's because in smash you can change your controls which a lot of people do so the reason they say stuff like Dair (Downwards aerial) is so that if you have your buttons changed then you can still understand

Idk if it's in ult but there used to be a semi-true combo where you could dair to falcon punch. You also could strong knee to falcon punch.

I was playing against a DK main on quick play, and I pulled off an awesome play as Captain Falcon.
1st kill: Spiked
2nd kill: Knee’d to oblivion
Final kill: Falcon Punched
"I'll talk about canceling the second kick of nair, and say you should learn how to do it, but I won't tell you how to do it I guess!"
you just fast fall right as the attack comes out. that's all there is to it. it doesn't really need an explanation.

RYU/KEN they are very confusing and I want to know how they work
I can explain it.
Ryu/ken have their moves based of street fighter 2 their moves depend how long u hold the button like if u hold down fwd tilt the mover will be different then just tapping fwd tilt for example.
4 special moves if u wanna do strong shoryuken u have to put in the command like in street fighter Idk the command but thats how they work

One of my starting combos is Falcon Kick then the Falcon Dive right when the round starts to get that starting damage to help in the long run.
Here is a nice little Zero to Death on light characters. Dash Attack to Double Fair. It is pretty hard to pull off, and it requires timing since you have to get the sweet spot of the knee.

How do you consistently do Nair 1? I do it randomly and I really have no clear way to do it except from doing nair last minute before landing. but then when I practice it I never do it consistently with short hops.
is that basically how to do it? Other than that I do watch a pro player who play Cap Nair 1 is just the main reason it’s hard for me to do anything.
Wait until you reach the full height of your short hop then nair and fast fall at the same time

Gimping with the weak hit of fair should be mentioned. It lasts super long so it's really easy to hit the weak hit.

Nobody in this entire game has as satisfying a kill as the Pawnch. And it does have a limited use offstage against characters with great recovery who are low and far offstage. You might be better off threatening with nair but hopping low and winding the punch offstage just triggers that oh shit response. And if you hit it... God have mercy on their souls.

2:48 lil homie, that animation makes it look tight, that shit reaches for miles tho, I stg, I can read a neutral ledge get up, a roll off ledge, and a jump off ledge by using upsmash, it's hit box is kind of known for being way too wide and excessive because no one knows if their gonna get hit by it unless they main captain falcon

Up smash is not very tight. It will scoop opponents in the most wonky ways possible, it’s range is large, especially if an opponent extends their hurt box near you, Fatality said that you can really just randomly throw it out, it’s good for hard reads and early kills

After buying the game and trying captain falcon for the first time, I have found that I don’t know how to play the game. It would be helpful to visually see what each button does and how for some ungodly reason, he just gets stuck with his leg up in the air, turning blue and only starts attacking after 3 whole seconds. Also really confused to see that my A button works completely fine but captain falcon decided it was better to just not use his arms today because he doesn’t attack at all. I press all that I want and nothing happens, I go into the pause menu just to see if my button just stopped working but no, it works fine. I really don’t get why these happen and I’m not sure if maybe I’m cursed to never be good at any fighting game for eternality. Just seems like it’s against me. Sometimes I hate the game on the unfair construct it builds. Even friends who newly touched the game find a way to be better than me. I need some serious help man. I wish I could demonstrate just how unbelievably bad I am. Like for instance, I go up against 3 other CPU’s; lvl5, lvl3, lvl5: and I always end up building the most percentage, at literal seconds after the match starts. It’s almost as if I end up doing the most damage to myself. If anyone can help answer my main questions about the failures of captain falcon then that’d be great. If you can help me understand what I’m doing wrong I guess that also works.

Just FYI , caps model was the first one in the first smash for N64 . His model was basically the standart fighter model . Later they added the other fighters but kept the model which was perfect fit for captain falcon .
So in other words . He was the first fighter !!!

So im a falcon main and im having a hard time landing nair 1 consistently especially while the opponent is moving. Do you have any tips on how to help with that?
No body has tops for that because it shouldnt be a thing that you connect nair 1 all other characters have straight set ups not having to calculate drop to just connect the one kick that make setups from your combos. Is not fair dont frustrante about it not even fatality does it consisntently.
