Your marth tip is 100% spot. When most people who want to play marth ask what to practice most I always say to get consistent with dancing blade. Move is DLC type good and im glad you quickly explained how it works.
5:10 with Young link i like at mid percent if i play at hollow bastion o smashville (i like more hollow bastion) do a bomb toss, if the bomb hit follow up with a fair 1, down tilt, fair 1 (the window to the second fair 1 its short) and after fair 1 make an up smash Its a klll confirm at 60-70% And is so clean
That Dancing Blade thing is something that not many people who aren't already Marth players really know about, cool. Maybe this little tutorial can help bring interest to the character, since people have given him a reputation for being inconsistent.
Hey, Im the Yink that did that section. They are advanced, but they are not super situational. I use the zdrop oos one consistently, but also you can fthrow the bomb onto shield and then just recatch then use zdrop recatch fair as sheild pressure. But that being said, the footstool extensions with them are extremely situational.
Was intrigued by this just from the title alone, so thought to check and see what advice you gave for my mains. Zelda: Definitely something I do from time to time. Daisy: Actually not a bad idea! Though I feel something like that won't occur to me in the heat of battle, but it's nice to keep in mind! Robin: Another good idea that likely won't occur to me in the midst of a fight, but thanks! Toon Link: I think I do this by default 😆 Inkling: Agreed. Up Smash is VERY good!
As a long time mac main and shoto secondary (and mac's representative in brazil), although i knew these tips, those are great tips for a beginner/mid level player, actually, great job throughout the video. You know your stuff and the video presentation is very friendly and welcoming. Overall, great job and i hope you get more public, excellent stuff
I think a cool one to extend Toon Link's bomb tech is that the enemy cannot see through your explosion which gives you a chance to choose a mixup behind the explosion like a down tilt (leads to a tech chase), a grab, or (the best) a grounded up+B. Great video with fresh original content. Loved this video and it'll be watched many times over in the future.
Another tip for the koopalings: use side b as a way to get away faster too and remember it gives u the ability to go to the other ledge so u can strategize more defensively with it as well
I’m a Pokémon trainer main so I’ll say things about their tips: Squirtle: He isn’t really an edgeguarder but more a ledgetrapper because of nair covering a lot of options, but I didn’t know that you could turn around neutral b so that’s cool, maybe there’s a way you can implement that in combos instead of edgeguards? Ivysaur: No offense, but this is a pretty well known fact. But you can use that fact to land a nair offstage and then down angled up b, which kills at like 40% at the sweet spot and has earned me a comeback sometimes. Charizard: This is a good tip if it’s at ledge it kills at like 50%. For some reason I don’t do it as much but it’s really good. Also it covers mistechs as well. I know way too much about this character for sucking at the game… good video though :)
When I play Pokemon Trainer I usually get a lot of edge guards with Squirtle but maybe my opponents are just bad, I haven't played PT in a while. I agree with everything else you say here.
@@paristrats Thank you, I used to edgeguard with him a lot too and edgeguarding is fine because of him having quick moves that can gimp worse recoveries, but ledgetrapping is what I prefer and nair is kinda busted I think it covers every option except for roll, which you could react to by drifting your nair back, landing bair, or if you’re really ready for it you can grab and yeet them back offstage. You can still edgeguard with him since nair is good for that too. Oops I talk too much.
While I already knew about Bayo's Triple Jump it's not something most people that aren't dedicated mains would know, and it's actually super important to her combo routes and mix ups, so it's a good tip!

Great video, that's the kind of things that the community needs to help casual players to get better. The rythm is good, it's not boring and the tips are really great, just congrats ! The only thing I would say about it is for Yoshi. I think you should've specified that it only works against characters WITHOUT a hitbox on their recovery except if you use a wavebounce up b. Wavebounce up b is also faster so it's a better trump tool.
Cool vid. I learned some new tricks, so I left a like. :) I'll be sure to try some of these out. Some of them weren't really tips or were facts that apply to every character, but some were super cool/useful. Thanks for sharing!
Marth player here with a few small things to add about his tip. Dancing blade actually can be quite solid at low percents in the upward variation because it sets the opponent up in the air and if they dont jump you can anti-air them and if they do you can chase them. Also lab kill percents for any variation of dancing blade (even roy/chrom) with stale moves on because the move stales with each swing.
I kinda figured there would be nothing in here everybody doesn't already know but this was actually some pretty neat stuff! Not all of it could be super helpful of course but for people who don't already main the characters it's all rather nifty!

Nah, he is a Wolf main. Im the Young Link Main, i discussed the ideas, and they said, I am not even gonna try to do it. So i just went into the lab and did them.
For bayo that s what we call a jump cancel, we cabcel our double jump within the 4 first frame of it with our up b. Which allows us to have our combos go higher, to go further in edge guard while still being able to recover. Which means that as long you haven t seen bayonetta use her double jump (u can know that by looking if her wings appear completly) don t try to edge guard her and pay attention while being out of stage cue she still has many options. Other known tip for bayonetta players : use a shoulder button to jump, it makes jump cancel way more easy. And also to do a really low abk (aerial side b) you can just sweep your fingers from the y button (jump) to your b (special) while holding a direction. Ut will too with good execution a low abk which catches like 90 % of the cast standing and running (though it won t catch them if they crouch or if they have low running animations). And bayo can shoot her guns in the air to cancel her special lag, however she has to deal with the ending lag of the guns.
The whole video was really good but i was slightly sad the tip for Luigi was just that his up b is good. So heres a better tip His side b can stick into walls and it can be useful for baiting opponents and wearing out their respawn invincibility. After koing an opponent run offstage and side b into the wall, if luigis head gets stuck you can bait an opponent into hitting you, tech the hit and you can reversal the opponent with a series of moves before they can react. I have taken many stocks with this or racked up 60percent plus damage. It really is useful, just dont do it against an opponent with a good downward spike
Another tip for Mii Brawler from I believe their name was FirethePyro or something, if you use Burning Dropkick while you have forward momentum, it moves faster and further. You can maximize this while allowing for one of the best burst options in the game by jumping back, inputting the BDK that way to get the momentum boost, then B-reverse the move towards your opponent to use your backwards momentum to launch your forward.
For Corrin, I find it way faster and easier to use B-Z (Or B-R if you use a pro controller) The grab button is simply a macro for shield+attack, and since most people have a shoulder button set to grab, it's way faster to just press the button with a different finger rather than having to slide your thumb.
Side Sheik Tip: If the side B grenade touches a projectile while it can explode, then the explosion occurs toward the opponent close to the touche spot, and the projectile could either disappear or slow down, depending of its strength
Hey an actual ness tip and not a cutaway Pk fire joke :) Pretty sweet tip too! There’s also ways to mix it up as well, if you land on the plat, by rolling the tail around the shield and hitting yourself into your opponents shield, it’ll either break or damage it heavily which is even cooler looking imo :)
@@paristrats As a Ness main, I too find them annoying. I don't like having one of my mains sullied by spammers. I do use PK Fire to set up grabs for combos/KO's, but that's it. Using aerial combos for damage racking is more fun and looks cooler anyway :)
@@paristrats yup its really good for shield pressure, I just wanted to note it for the Terry mains so they dont try to pressure a shield with a normal Power Dunk
One more tip for mewtwo players: hammer into your head that whenever your opponent lands on a platform, side b every time. It’s the correct option every time. Unless you know you’ll land a disable
I don't know about down air being Mac's best aerial. Realistically they all (except back air) have 1 or 2 uses so it depends on what best fits your playstyle. Like forward air is by far the best for MY playstyle but another Mac player (Alternis) is really smooth with his up air conversions so that tends to be the best for him. Either way great tip for Mac players. Glad to see someone recognize their uses instead of saying 'they're bad lul'
an interesting thing about ness, specifically from brawl, to smash 4 and going into ult, across all 3 of these games is a fact that's very obscure, and I can confirm this is somewhat true as it depends on char weight+how close to the edge of the stage(via using Final Destination/Battle field as stage) and most likely, if Ness has Rage or not: if Ness uses pk fire two times(exactly 2 times)+Pk Thunder missile and is very close to the opponent(like usually right next to them) or close enough to them, and they're at least, from my memory, a bit away from the center of FD(not near the edge, but right around where the cpu is during match start) Ness has a surprisingly good chance of one shotting the opponent from 0% with this specific series of attacks. this includes some heavyweights. from what I recall, Rage both may and may not be a factor in determining if pk fire x2+Pk Thunder missile one shots a character, as this's also determined by character weight and how close to the edge they are. the max distance this is very likely to nuke a character's deff around the 2nd player's starting position. the strangest part bout this is that this absolutely works across all 3 games, Brawl, Smash 4 and Ult. but its more likely to work in Smash 4/Ult more than Brawl. its also very easy to stop from happening if people can DI out of Pk-fire or are a FE char that's not Ike(in smash ult, brawl's fine cuz his counter works like Marth's, instant. ult's version of Ike's counter has horrible end-lag.)
With gordo stick you should look to follow up lf it very punishingly, you can do this with up B if the vibe is right. But returning to stage and carching a likely airdodge (after being hit by the ledgestuck gordo) with bair, or regrab ledge and jump dair- or returning to stage and charging fsmash/jet hammer etc. A slightly lower gordo stick will combo into dash attack as well. Its like steve block at ledge cucking recoveries, but if it was cool. I usually just run off stage and do a light side b. You dont want to drift too much so release the joystick as soon as possible after gordo. It will only stick about 60% of the time, however it can often still do funny stuff by bouncing off of ledge.
tip for peach down tilt fair for kill (it's kinda inconsistent) and a better tip for this format would be u can act immediately out of side b on ground if used from jump height then shiek is just raindrop 💧 😂 fun combo tho
My choice for Sonic’s tip. Pushing a direction and then inputting neutral B can point homing attack on either direction. You can use this to help recover, or hit the opponent with a reverse homing attack to confirm to back air
I don’t exactly see how that Lucas tip is very practical . But as a Lucas main a tip I suggest is B Reversing Pk Fire and Pk Freeze and PSI Magnet it can give you mix ups and momentum options. Also note DJCZ which is super good for getting combos
Great video! I just want to say though that the Sephiroth tip is honestly kinda bad. Instead of baiting them to reflect and then hitting them with the explosion which rarely ever happens it better to just shield cancel it and then f tilt
And I’m honestly sure you already knew that too, probably just went for something more niche? Idk. I learned a lot about characters that I don’t play that will definitely be useful during iron mans
The reason Bayonetta gets that extra jump is because if you do it fast enough up b cancells the double jump. I found out that you can cancel the double jump this way twice if your first up b was started mid air
Since Lucina's tip talks about her Shield Breaker, here's an extra tip: it deals more damage if they headshot No I don't mean that angling the move upwards deals more damage (in fact, it's one of the few moves that doesn't deal more damage when angled); if you hit the opponent in the head specifically, it deals a little more damage
Great video, and subbed, but that Kazuya fact was objectively wrong. Look up CDC (crouch dash canceling), you can cancel crouch dash in a variety of ways not with c-stick, and you can cancel into rising state, which is how players get demon god fist (his stun punch)
Some of these are really good for year 6 of ultimate, being a lot more niche/harder to find or see but some of these tips are really just day 1 ultimate things, which all things considered makes this video feel a lot less "important" or unique, good video idea though, I liked it :)
Kazuya actually can cancel crouch dash into another crouchdash without using tilt stick. (I play kazuya and i dont use c stick). You can do this by putting your stick in neutral then do the input so it looks like: forward, down, df, neutral, foward, down, df, neutral, etc...
For the $5.99's (not hero lol), just use one broken move repeatedly into a true combo smash attack for guaranteed kills at 12% or lower if you're joker
Hi, like this video but I think the Mii Brawler tip is kinda useless, as someone that plays Mii Brawler. It’s true that you can do these things, but it’s alot more strict and inconsistent as it seems, FireThePyro made a great point at the end of his shotput video about how unreliable Shot Parry is. As a replacement i’d say to not permanently stay in one set, and experiment with specials, as no set is the best for every mu For example, you *_can_* get away with Shotput, BDK, Thrupper and Feint Jump in most mus, But for a heavy character it’s alot better to run Shotput, Suplex, Heli-Kick, and Feint Jump If that’s too vague, remembering that landing Nair-FSmash is a kill confirm around 40-60 depending on weight is massive, and important to know because of how safe and non-commital nair is in neutral.
@@paristrats ah, got you! I guess I misinterpret moves that can hit below ledge as those that can 2f, just a general thing Update: wolf dash attack can 2f, but kinda catches characters that have terrible ledge hitboxes like piranha plant, plus the timing is extremely strict 😭

subbed! you earned it!
Thank you so much!
Loved the video opening keep it up
Thanks I like the opening too
For Corrin, I find it way faster and easier to use B-Z (Or B-R if you use a pro controller)
The grab button is simply a macro for shield+attack, and since most people have a shoulder button set to grab, it's way faster to just press the button with a different finger rather than having to slide your thumb.
Cool I didn’t know that
Side Sheik Tip:
If the side B grenade touches a projectile while it can explode, then the explosion occurs toward the opponent close to the touche spot, and the projectile could either disappear or slow down, depending of its strength
12:38 crazy voice crack
what r u talking abt
Great video 😁
Thank you!
Hey an actual ness tip and not a cutaway Pk fire joke :)
Pretty sweet tip too! There’s also ways to mix it up as well, if you land on the plat, by rolling the tail around the shield and hitting yourself into your opponents shield, it’ll either break or damage it heavily which is even cooler looking imo :)
@@M1RACLEWEAVER Thanks. Yeah I always find the PK fire jokes really annoying.
@@paristrats As a Ness main, I too find them annoying. I don't like having one of my mains sullied by spammers.
I do use PK Fire to set up grabs for combos/KO's, but that's it. Using aerial combos for damage racking is more fun and looks cooler anyway :)
@@gabrielzahradka6454 I don’t play Ness much but I definitely agree
Hope this vid does well, this is important character info
Thanks, it's already my most viewed video by a lot!
As a Marth main I can say what he said is useful because side gets half of the kills I get in smash
Thanks the Marth tip's one of my favourites
Nice video, but I have to note something for the Terry part, because the arial Power Dunk is only +1 on shield when you autocancel it.
Yeah but most characters don't have a very good out of shield option so it gives pretty good pressure. Also thanks
@@paristrats yup its really good for shield pressure, I just wanted to note it for the Terry mains so they dont try to pressure a shield with a normal Power Dunk
10:33 as a Little Mac main,I rarely use his back air when it comes to disrespect my opponent if it's weaker than me😂😂.

One more tip for mewtwo players: hammer into your head that whenever your opponent lands on a platform, side b every time. It’s the correct option every time. Unless you know you’ll land a disable
1:14 I actually didn’t know that there was a consistent ledge trump setup like that thank you
I didn't know until making the video either
I don't know about down air being Mac's best aerial. Realistically they all (except back air) have 1 or 2 uses so it depends on what best fits your playstyle. Like forward air is by far the best for MY playstyle but another Mac player (Alternis) is really smooth with his up air conversions so that tends to be the best for him. Either way great tip for Mac players. Glad to see someone recognize their uses instead of saying 'they're bad lul'
Thanks :)
an interesting thing about ness, specifically from brawl, to smash 4 and going into ult,
across all 3 of these games is a fact that's very obscure, and I can confirm this is somewhat true as it depends on char weight+how close to the edge of the stage(via using Final Destination/Battle field as stage) and most likely, if Ness has Rage or not:
if Ness uses pk fire two times(exactly 2 times)+Pk Thunder missile and is very close to the opponent(like usually right next to them) or close enough to them, and they're at least, from my memory, a bit away from the center of FD(not near the edge, but right around where the cpu is during match start)
Ness has a surprisingly good chance of one shotting the opponent from 0% with this specific series of attacks.
this includes some heavyweights.
from what I recall, Rage both may and may not be a factor in determining if pk fire x2+Pk Thunder missile one shots a character, as this's also determined by character weight and how close to the edge they are.
the max distance this is very likely to nuke a character's deff around the 2nd player's starting position.
the strangest part bout this is that this absolutely works across all 3 games, Brawl, Smash 4 and Ult.
but its more likely to work in Smash 4/Ult more than Brawl. its also very easy to stop from happening if people can DI out of Pk-fire or are a FE char that's not Ike(in smash ult, brawl's fine cuz his counter works like Marth's, instant. ult's version of Ike's counter has horrible end-lag.)
@@MLmaster135 Cool!
By the way, Sephiroth neutral B is not only unreflectable on gigaflare explosion, but with the three charges.
Great video anyways
I am never gonna be good enough at smash bros to do about half of these facts, or the characters entirely
😂
The vibe is definitely right :)
tip for peach down tilt fair for kill (it's kinda inconsistent) and a better tip for this format would be u can act immediately out of side b on ground if used from jump height
then shiek is just raindrop 💧 😂 fun combo tho
My choice for Sonic’s tip. Pushing a direction and then inputting neutral B can point homing attack on either direction. You can use this to help recover, or hit the opponent with a reverse homing attack to confirm to back air
Cool
I don’t exactly see how that Lucas tip is very practical . But as a Lucas main a tip I suggest is B Reversing Pk Fire and Pk Freeze and PSI Magnet it can give you mix ups and momentum options. Also note DJCZ which is super good for getting combos
Love this video!
Me too!
@@wampty8298 Thanks, good luck in your iron mans
The reason Bayonetta gets that extra jump is because if you do it fast enough up b cancells the double jump. I found out that you can cancel the double jump this way twice if your first up b was started mid air
Best video ever
Thank you! 🤩
min min can transition a tilt into a smash with AB smash attacks, hold B then press A or vis versa
Cool
Just wanted to say great video. Really learned a lot!
@@Dante_DMC4 Thanks, glad it was useful
putting roy and chrom into a single tip is criminal

You're welcome. I give you full permission to bully your friends
@@paristrats SIR YES SIR!
Since Lucina's tip talks about her Shield Breaker, here's an extra tip: it deals more damage if they headshot
No I don't mean that angling the move upwards deals more damage (in fact, it's one of the few moves that doesn't deal more damage when angled); if you hit the opponent in the head specifically, it deals a little more damage
Oh my God I tested it & it's true! If I know that I would have definitely put it in the video, thanks
*knew
Thank you for getting to the point and not doing a stupid long intro 👍
Yeah I prefer to get into the main content of the video pretty early
Great video, and subbed, but that Kazuya fact was objectively wrong. Look up CDC (crouch dash canceling), you can cancel crouch dash in a variety of ways not with c-stick, and you can cancel into rising state, which is how players get demon god fist (his stun punch)
Thanks, also I got this tip from another Kazuya player, I don't play Kazuya so I can't really comment on it
Some of these are really good for year 6 of ultimate, being a lot more niche/harder to find or see but some of these tips are really just day 1 ultimate things, which all things considered makes this video feel a lot less "important" or unique, good video idea though, I liked it :)
Kazuya actually can cancel crouch dash into another crouchdash without using tilt stick. (I play kazuya and i dont use c stick). You can do this by putting your stick in neutral then do the input so it looks like: forward, down, df, neutral, foward, down, df, neutral, etc...
@@DryDirt0715 Oh I didn’t know that my bad
I honestly didn't know Little Mac's d-air helped his recovery...
@@mrsonicfan21 Well now you do. I think his other aerials do too but down air has the lowest lag

For the $5.99's (not hero lol), just use one broken move repeatedly into a true combo smash attack for guaranteed kills at 12% or lower if you're joker
Good vid
@@AdeelKhan-uu2pv Thanks
Hi, like this video but I think the Mii Brawler tip is kinda useless, as someone that plays Mii Brawler.
It’s true that you can do these things, but it’s alot more strict and inconsistent as it seems, FireThePyro made a great point at the end of his shotput video about how unreliable Shot Parry is.
As a replacement i’d say to not permanently stay in one set, and experiment with specials, as no set is the best for every mu
For example, you *_can_* get away with Shotput, BDK, Thrupper and Feint Jump in most mus,
But for a heavy character it’s alot better to run Shotput, Suplex, Heli-Kick, and Feint Jump
If that’s too vague, remembering that landing Nair-FSmash is a kill confirm around 40-60 depending on weight is massive, and important to know because of how safe and non-commital nair is in neutral.
For Sephiroth Neutral B none of the explosions can be reflected and Mega Flare (blue) can kill deceptively early
This is a very informative video! Great job!
but why does wolf dash attack 2f
I don't think it 2 frames it just hits at the ledge, also thank you!
@@paristrats ah, got you! I guess I misinterpret moves that can hit below ledge as those that can 2f, just a general thing
Update: wolf dash attack can 2f, but kinda catches characters that have terrible ledge hitboxes like piranha plant, plus the timing is extremely strict 😭
