80 in second gear is still quite a bit for 2nd compared to a car, unless it's a Porsche. ;)

But it takes a while, not like the M who does it in the blink of an eye … lol

@@ThatGermanFella that's my preference otherwise I'd be dead or in jail. 🤣

I want one, but I can't cope with the UK kawasaki dealer's inept attitudes, and high service costs, which I came across. Equally surely with the Japanese Yen currently so weak, these should be half this price. Are they made in Japan or outsourced?

From what I understand the engine is made in Japan but the bike is assembled in Indonesia 🇮🇩

cool. Is the 400 scrambler out yet? or whatever it's called. Haven't had a chance to ride. Family obligations and sort of crappy weather. But i start my faux Africa Twin regularly. It still starts right up which is more than i can say for the last couple of new bikes i've purchased. She's only... 35 yrs old?

haha, love that "faux" AT! the 400 Scrambler is out. I looked at it at european cyclesports. Looks good but it is rather heavy for a 400, especially for a ADV bike. So I am meh on it.

Triumph Scrambler 400 is only 179kg & Speed 400 170kg both are out.

@@ruahinesrider That maybe so but it is not wearing the weight well, felt quite porky when I moved it around the store.

@@ThatGermanFella Weight might be high so feels heavy. My Interceptor was top heavy but it tipped into corners good but was bulky to manoeuvre.

That is what I thought it will be but in case of the 4RR they managed a unique position with raised clip on’s that is actually comfortable.
