This game was never sold where I live so I had to find a scan, print, cut and glue every card to finally play the only MP I had never seen. This game is so good, no joke it deserves an S-Tier rank. I play the minigames on 3DS, they take 2 seconds to load so the wasting time while scanning issue is gone. Playing RockPaperScissors instead is also a good way to make it more accessible to non gamers. Because I didnt pay $200 for it I wasn't scared to take it outside with me and play with friends (You don't even need to take the mat) and out of all the board games I own it is one of the most hilarious. It perfectly encapsulates the MP spirit, random, strategic, fun, and the fact they didn't simply do a lazy snakes and ladder game is impressive. This is the kind of game that really deserves a re-release, with a phone app it would work so well.

A board game where you gather Mario’s clothing? Is this where they got the idea for Wii Party U’s Mii Fashion Plaza?

I guess it wouldn’t be all that unlikely if someone on the team was passionate about a clothing themed party game.

Great video! My uncle had an E-Reader and the bundled cards with it and I'd seen the Pokemon cards with the code strip but somehow I never made the connection that they were for the E-Reader. I wonder if there's a way to emulate the E-Reader, like someone's made a rom hack with basically a select screen menu to play the exclusive games unavailable anywhere else? Seeing that manual takes me back and makes me wish I still had the manuals for my GBA games. I can't imagine I would've thrown them away myself, so it must've been my folks, or I just lost them, or maybe I got a lot of my games as loose copies from GameStop.

I’m not in the emulation scene at all but from my research for this video, none of the e-reader games have been emulated unless that has changed in the past few years.

Good video, I was reading the Wikipedia page on Mario Party and wanted to find more info on this game, and you had the best video out of a few that popped up.
    Some production critique below:
For having such a small channel, I was impressed at the quality of video. Seems like you're pretty good with script writing and vocal presentation. One thing that I understand can be hard to fix with no budget but I think would really help would be better visual presentation. The carpet background is not really doing it and there were times you had difficulty getting the right lighting without too much glare. Even so, I could see your channel growing fast given the right video at the right time.

Thanks. Yeah my lighting setup is garbage. The area I film in has a light directly above it as you pointed out, but the actual issue is my “tripod” which is just a ring light arm attached to a lamp and then the lamp itself has a second light I can kinda adjust. Quite literally the definition of “gets the job done” but I don’t typically film more than a dozen bits of b-roll on videos since I stick with gameplay when I can.
