A Guide to Meghalaya’s Edible and Poisonous Mushroom

The entire video is in ‘Pnar’ our indigenous language. This video aims to prevent further poisoning cases in our state by giving a brief idea of the types of mushrooms available in the hills of Meghalaya.
Throughout the years , we have witnessed casualties related to mushroom poisoning in our own state and India as a whole.
Mushroom poisoning is usually the result of ingestion of wild mushrooms after misidentification of a toxic mushroom as an edible species.

Nice vid. And mushroom foraging is fun. Btw, when foraging mushrooms, using something like a basket ne ka Kriah is a good option. That way they can release their spores on the forest floor after you've picked them.
