Thanks for the comments about the china junk carb. I have a 1982 Urban Express and WAS considering a Chinese carb but not now. Thanks again for the comments.

Chinese carbs are the only ones that work for my honda atc

I bought a 1994 Honda FourTrax and it had a Chinese carb already on it. It did not include the factory carb or parts. The Chinese carb runs fine but Im having a overflow issue and trying to set the float is giving me problems cause these are no brand carbs and no specs to go by. But I can tell you it runs and has power. Just trying to remedy the float problem. A replacement stock carb is $316. No way in hell am I going to spend that on a 94 model. Or any other model. Sounds like yours was running rich and needed tweaked.

Quick search says the '94 Fourtrax 300 should have a float level of 18.5mm.

I watched a bunch of TH-cam videos about using chinese carbs and ended up buying a few to try out. They aren't made like swiss watches, but I was able to make them work really well. I've been fixing motorcycles for a long time, with carburetor service being a primary request. I don't mind the quality of these units, for the price. With the right skills, you should be able to troubleshoot and modify as required. Buying chinese carbs isn't hurting the economy here, btw. The carburetors most people use are made in Japan. American made parts are much less common than people think, and generally the best components are Japanese products.

I bought a cheap carb for my honda 400x and 300ex and both carbs are actually better quality than the original stock honda carbs! Couldn't believe it! Anyway both machines run excellent now no problems. And by the way you can't let small engines sit with ethanol blended gas in them for any period of time, i don't care what carb you have on it ethanol will ruin everything.

I do agree though that the Chinese ones suck because I have one that litteraly exploded with gas everywhere but now I realize I should just rebuild my oem carb because I never had a problem out of it

You said that the rubber diaphragm was an accelerator pump to give the engine more gas.. Wow ! Really? Maybe you should know what the parts actually do before you make a video about how bad chinese carbs are? I've had nothing but good luck with them and looks like your viewers have also.. that diaphragm is to lift the throttle slide and the main jet needle out of the main jet for proper fuel mixture into the enjine.engine.. do your homework!

What's really fun is when they do the OPPOSITE of no power and give it full throttle without your hand involved.....😁😉This happened to me on my new 125 dirt bike with a cheap Chinese carb. And of course, not expecting or even knowing this could be a possibility, I got brain lock and froze, allowing the bike to take over, tried to steer it but completely forgot about the kill switch or putting it in neutral (it was in first). I was in the woods next to a road with random but fast traffic. The bike propelled me to the edge of the woods right before it was about to foist me out onto the road, there was a big fallen tree limb that caught my wheel and caused me to fall over right at the edge of the road. Very scary. Lesson learned. I won't get on my dirt bike again until that Chinese junk is replaced. The one on my husband's identical dirt bike spewed gas from at least 3 different places. He has already replaced his. I wish mine had just spewed gas. I still cringe thinking about what could have happened.....

The word of the day is Mayonaise............Mayonaise alot of idiots on here. Japanese bikes and quads use japanese oem parts , china doesnt obey copyrights or patents thats why theres such an availability of chinese knock off copycat parts. They fucking gramar and spelling isnt even right when you read the description on the packaging (if there is any paperwork included) you are exactly right about the fit and finish of the parts, very little prescision machine work and much lower quaulity , cheaper materials used. Mikuni and kehin carbs from japan are the only carbs i will use nowdays. I have two ranchers and an xr 250 and am atc 90 that i ordered chinese $12 carbs for and they will all start but the idle fluctuates and the floats stick and if i go out of towm for a week i have to pull them when i get home to clean them before theyll start

If you have a rice cooker and you’re making a large amount of Rice heat up your water in your instant water tea kettle then added hot water to your rice now it will not take as long know if you want to have your rice separate fry it first Then go from there I was trying to think of that store
A vehicle that uses the brand that it comes with that say your wife’s brand or let’s say I have a Toyota forerunner 2002 Now I have to use products from the Toyota company and you have to use apart from the company that is from your brand of vehicle then the vehicle stays at value

@@MrBriansAmazingWorld a company name does not mean actual manufacturer. Of course there are a few inferior parts, but many quality improvements have been made on many imports in the last 2 years ESPECIALLY. I rely on these parts for cost and with few warranty concerns on my work. As far as small gas engines, atvs, utvs, and all lawn equipment and chainsaws, there are almost no actual American made engine and transmission parts, just American ASSEMBLED. Many of my customers would not be able to afford American labor and parts prices , they stop coming, it's why I had to change to import parts with OEM specs. I get to see first hand, that most all problems with anything that customers bring me , is a mistake that they made. Many people that install new carbs, think that it is supposed to run right, and never make the appropriate adjustments. Or they tinker with it and never get it right. This is why so many repair shops have you leave the equipment. They don't want you to know it's a 15 minute fix.

  • @race777

Thanks for the video but you clearly don't understand how a constant velocity carburetor works. The slide that you called a fuel pump works off the principle that moving air has less pressure causing a vacuum effect raising the slide as the butterfly valve is opened.
