- Hope you guy's enjoy this one! I'm very excited to share this with all of you as I feel it's some of my best analysis I've done yet. Since I started doing these I've wanted to come back to Haazen. He's one of the most interesting characters and you genuinely feel for him throughout the comics. I also feel my skills have come along way and in a similar way to Count Dooku wanted to re analyze the character. As for an opponent the grand inquisitor was one of the few bright spots for me in rebels and I feel once he died the show feel off. But anyways, without further ado I present, The Failed Jedi Vs. The Fallen Guard.... Haazen Vs. The Grand Inquisitor!

I thought for sure Haazen had it in the bag, but without the gauntlet yeah he ain't that great.
I would say Haazens connection to the force is not necessarily weak though, the description of "awkward" is meant to parallel Zayne Carick who was quite powerful at times, just inconsistent and clumsy in his use. Both Zayne and Haazen were incompetent padawans overshadowed by their peers and with a awkward force connection as well as unrequired crushes, both were even routinely fooled by small-time criminals. The difference of course being that while both used deception Zayne had help from friends and learned how to work with his connection to the force, while Haazen just had pawns and tried to use artifacts and borrowed strength as shortcuts.

Yessir! Fantastic analysis of both characters and the editing is superb. A fascinating exploration of two underrated and unsuspecting combatants. You also integrated Haazen's artifacts and cybernetics well into the fight.

While I'm not the biggest fan of the Grand Inquisitor, as he's practically an inferior rehash of Jerec and Lucius Malfoy rip-off (would love to see Trilla or the Ninth Sister being used though, or heck Taron Malicos), this was an interesting matchup nonetheless.
Why Lucius?
@@whateverwhatever4476 He's voiced by Jason Issac who played Lucius Malfoy in the Harry potter movies. They have similar mannerisms if my memory serves me correctly.
Interestingly, there pretty much the complete inverse of each other when it comes to there Force and Dueling abilities.

Nice refreshing videos man, keep it up! Haazen should spite/stomp/potentially one shot due to legends scaling. Canon scaling is incomparable to legends scaling.

Loving these videos your doing. I'd say some of the best versus series to watch since you use some really underrated combatants such as Darth Baras and Haazen. Can't wait to see who next

Both were Sophisticated duelists who implemented Elegant bladework and Precision in their fighting styles.
I do enjoy seeing the Grand Inquisitor getting some love in these match ups! You did a great job analyzing both combatants, and your reasoning for why the Grand Inquisitor ultimately wins here is pretty sound. Good video, man.
I always felt that the Grand Inquisitor was vastly underrated because of the way he died against Kanan and because he is compared negatively towards Inquisitor Jerec from Legends. While the first one I can understand (It was somewhat ridiculous his death), the comparison with Jerec always seemed unfair to me: the Grand Inquisitor is a hunter and analyst of Jedi who spent little time training himself in the Force while Jerec is a loremaster who rivals Darth frickin’ Vader in power.

In terms of which of the classes both characters fall under, would it be a fair to say that Haazen is something of a Dark Jedi Consular/wannabe Sith Sorcerer and The Grand Inquisitor being a straight up Jedi Sentinel/Sith Assassin?
I would say the Grand Inquisitor is a Dark Jedi Sentinel: he has the baseline dark abilities that characterizes a Dark Side Adept but lacks the deep immersion in the dark side that makes a Sith. He also does not display any traditional abilities or philosophy associated with the Sith. Yeah, Dark Jedi Sentinel seems accurate.
PS: I would say Haazen is a Sith Sorcerer Wannabe. He has knowledge of esoteric Sith abilities and artefacts but lacks the raw power to use them to the fullest of their potentials.
A another great one good work plus there is now way the Grand Inquisitor would lose this fight.
My issue is: G I was a temple guard, so roughly upper Knight level. Yet got stalemated by a upper padawan Kanan Jarrus

My BIGGEST issue is him being the GRAND inquisitor but losing to a upper padawan Kanan
Well that padawan had a boost in the force for no reason (he used plot armor) and his crappy double blade lightsaber. But yeah the GI lost to that Upper Padawan because of his plot armor.

I say use Vaylin over Kun since she’s never been used while you used Kun just about a year ago. It would allow you to use a new character that even Jensaarai hasn’t used

I feel the grand inquisitior is more powerful then claimed I feel like ppl think to basically when it comes to rebels he has some notable feats and I feel like he could even be on par with asajj ventress, yes I do have my reasonings to back this up but I won’t get into them right now haha
how about you provide feats and give an accurate tier placement of where he stands compared to other force wielders?
John Zhou well I’d say he’s probably just simply on the level of asajj ventress, my reasoning for that is he was able to beat Jocasta nu almost instantaneously, most ppl will say she wasn’t much of a fighter but yet she was still extremely wise and had years of experience on him, so that is a notable feat he was also able to make a joke of fighting Kanan and Ezra, you have to see it this way, the other inquisitiors even together struggled in a duel with the two of them and the grand inquisitior could literally take them out in a matter of mins so he clearly is quite superior to them, and everyone loves to point out how kanan beat him but you have to realize that was like the first battle of obi wan and darth maul, clearly darth maul should’ve won that battle but it was bc obi wan lost something he feared then he became focused and was able to push darth maul to the breaking point. The same thing happened with the grand inquisitior and kanan like had he kept Ezra on the same level as them then kanan would’ve most likely been defeated but the inquisitior unknowingly lost his advantage when he knocked Ezra off. So in the end the grand inquisitior was a very powerful force wielder and duelist just as asajj ventress was
Filoni actually did compare the two stating the GI was "close" to Ventress so in some ways your actually right
Kyp Durr yeah idk I just love this character and personally I like to theorize how he could be better than he is portrayed but ultimately we’ll have to see what they do with him in the future to see if what I’m saying is right 😂
I wanna C Pong Krell vs Savage Opress , I think krell would win , I wish he replaced ventress/savage and became Supreme Commander , w same style robes but dark blue&black or dark brown w grey armor w sepratist symbols and same pair of hinged saberstaffs but one w twin bloodshine blades one w twin purple blades & he is 1st person to master both jarkai varients of form 4&6 with twin saberstaffs , he is a master and had visions like Anakin
