Watching this back from playing RE8, man there was a lot of hints and giveaways with what Roanoke was talking about with the mold helping reattach limbs lol
The mold can help but the reference scene he used was entirely deceptive. His scene used the medical fluid to reattach a limb. And this fluid made by the organization was proven to be this level of miraculous before RE7 came into the picture
Whoever developed (likely Wesker, no doubt) the Mold and Eveline, they're genius. The Mold is probably the most dangerous BOW type ever created save maybe for Uroboros, because they will literally assimilate _anything you throw at them_ and turn it on you. From the BSAA to *other BOWs* , it's like the Las Plagas on steroids. Once you're exposed and infected by it, you're Eveline's slave even if you're not quite aware of it, and she can alter your senses and perception of reality; it's like dealing with a viral Piece of Eden from Assassin's Creed, or Kilgrave from Jessica Jones multiplied by the Blacklight Virus/Alex Mercer from PROTOTYPE. Oh, and it not only controls any organic being, but makes them immortal parts of a hive mind that can attach limbs back on because they literally have fungi inside their body that reassimilates those limbs back like you're *freaking Wolverine or Deadpool.* Can you imagine the Tyrants and Nemesis being assimilated, controlled and enhanced by the Mold?! Or the C-Virus J'avo and BOWs?! No wonder someone tried to destroy it. This thing is like the Cordyceps Nuke of Bioterrorism Black Market and modern warfare. If anyone ever gets it right without having to depend on making the hive master a little girl, it's game over for everyone!
@@OWmyDragonBallz yeah but that was before they knew about oroborus which is the most deadly and infectious pathogen. and technially the mold IS a form of the ourbous virus as it was created by infecting mold with the ourbours virus while using weskers dna for the human parts making evilien and the entire e series technially children of wesker. but honestyly i felt really bad for eveline it seemed like she did have all the capacity for human emotion she seemed sapient she could of been a good person but was raised created and treated like a weapon making her devlope sadistic or pyschopathic traits that ruined any chance of her living a good life. if only eveline had someone who truly cared about her rather then mia and her partner she could of been ANOTHER superhuman victim of umbrella fighting bio weapons around the world pretty sure tri cell and bsaa would have the checmical to prevent the rapid aging too.
It does not necessarily enslave your will. Most likely sociopathic Lucas Baker was either completely immune to Eveline's mental control or was removed from it without Eveline actually noticing anything was different. And that regenerative ability was variable with Jack Baker having it most potent while Lucas had it much less. Still being able to take loss of limbs as nothing but temporary hindrance is very powerful ability. Marguerite seems a bit different case with her affinity towards ginormous bugs.
Welp, guess what - with RE 8 out the first sentence is 100% wrong :D Also - I like how the actual reason for the mold always creating a female embryo is probably cause of Miranda's attempt to recreate a body for her daughter.

What I find so chilling about the Mold is how an infected human not only becomes part of a hive mind, but it can turn them into psychotic Tyrant-like monsters. What I find interesting is how Eveline has no control over Ethan, despite him being infected, though it may be because he was a new infectee. There's actually a journal entry in Marguerite's bedroom which shows that the mold grows over an infectee's brain similarly to tumors. And when confronted with a molded, if you look closely you can see that some of them have bone structures and organs, suggesting that the Mold can use dead bodies as puppets to create these monsters. The Incinerator room puzzle does give some evidence to this.
FINALLY! I WAS SO INTRIGUED! Also first. She did have the weakness of a little girl. 8:16 so basically stop it at stage one (somehow) and you have lizard regen powers. Like ethan winters. He probably stopped the infection at stage one. It took 3-4 weeks for the bakers to become those monsters. And Ethan was only there for at most 2 days. So the necrotoxin didnt kill either.
So this video is 3 years old as I reply but I read something recently that is pertinent to the commentary on reattached limbs. I read an article in the last week ir so that mentioned that the wrong limbs can be attached to someone like a left hand on a right arm and the brain will quite quickly figure out that it needs to work backwards to use the hand. Apparently it applies to transplants from others too provided the limb doesnt reject. The neuroplasticity in humans is absolutely amazing.
I've been wondering how they were able to simply stich the guy's hand back on and make it work properly. My knowledge of nervous damage gave me a serious "???" with that part. (First time i see that "leg" part though.)
