47 XYY caryotype (and it's female equivalent, 47 XXX) are quite interesting conditions. From what I have heard, these are mostly understudied - mainly because often affected individuals present no recognisible symptomes or actual symptomes are thought to be "normal" traits. If you made a video about supermale/superfemale syndromes on your second channel that would be pretty cool.
Kinda reminds me about male calico cats. Since the genes to create the calico pattern are only found on the x chromosomes, Male calicos NEED to be born with a XXY chromosome combination.
@@squidbro6635 Yeah, I heard about that. There is simmilar condition in our species, it is called Klinefelter syndrome and that's exactly it, 47 XXY caryotype. I'm not sure how exactly it is with cats, but humans affected by it do have health troubles. There are issues with fertility (I think only exceptionally males with it can father a baby), people with it tend to be noticeably higher then average, have less hair (compared to average males), sometimes have more women-like posture and may have troubles with bones durability. Compared to XXX and XYY syndromes, which usually present little or no obvious symptomes (and if do, these symptomes can sometimes be not harmful or even "beneficial" - like the guy mentioned in video, who had additional muscle mass), XXY syndrome is much more serious condition.
