    Should of installed an x-pipe to it... when in sport mode chilling the exhaust sounds sick😝 almost sounds like it has glass packs

    Can you all do more on the 6gen v6? I mean everybody knows how to mod the v8s but v6’s need more love 🤷🏽‍♂️

    I have this kit and the valves rattle like hell when in stealth mode. They also rattle in sport mode in 4th gear under light throttle or decel. For those considering a system that retains npp, it’s really not that loud at all, I’d go for a system like corsa extreme that just gets rid of the valves. That’s my opinion if I had to do it all over again.

      Maleni Reyes thanks, I’ve done quite a bit to it since I took this picture. All the usual stuff, dark out all lights, tinted windows, exhaust, intake, catch can, tune, etc.

      I have a v6 😭😭 I wanted the 8 but I want to make my v6 like yours since the back lights are black and Chevy logo

    • @Dunkaroos248

      Maleni Reyes v6 is still fun and fast. Check out the diode dynamics led side markers, those are really cool and cheap mod, the gm tail lights and 3rd brake light are easy install, I would order the led back up kit with the tail lights from phastek if you decide to get them. They make intakes for the v6 and exhaust, it’s just not going to sound the same as a v8 but you can make your car cool and do it your way. Check out some of the products from zl1 addons, I have a bunch of their stuff too...the wicker bill, rock guards, front license plate mount and jack points.

      matreo Do you know for sure? I had 2 chamber Flowmaster mufflers and an off-road H-pipe on a Fox body Mustang. The coolest street pony car sound ever! But on the highway at 70 mph in 5th gear, the drone prevented me from listening to the stereo, having a conversation, or even THINKING to myself! 😂

      That would be a possibility with any exhaust system. I know I have heard it with the stock exhaust, if you listen closely.

    • @PhastekPerformance
      @PhastekPerformance  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      You should not need to cut the opening any more but we do suggest to carefully put the tips in place. We have taped the tips to prevent any scratching with that body kit before. So it should be possible, just take your time and be careful.

    When the valves close while cruising on the highway how does it sound? Drone or noisy in the car?

    • @RTAMOTORSPORTS
      @RTAMOTORSPORTS 4 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      Super quiet I daily drive in track, it's a pleasing deep rumble that's louder than stock. Personally I love it, but FYI my valves do rattle on occasion and I herd flowmaster taking care of ppl with bad cases of it, but mine was occasional and my stock system did it too.

      Depending on the shop rate, it could be anywhere from $150 to $250. It just depends on what shop is doing the install.
