If your car is stock and you install this mod. Is there any light on?
No, this kit will not cause a check engine light.

Phastek Performance do they make one that is completely inclosed form the engine bay that way it doesn’t suck in all of that super hot air put off by the engine and turbo??

Hello, you can feel a slight difference in the pull. But you won’t get much out of it without a tune. Sound wise it’s perfect
Helpful video, got mine installed today for my 2016 camaro, like the sound on it. Made a difference, but for some reason I'm not a fan of the "pssst" sound it makes when I go up a hill. Overall it's great!

Thank you so much for this video. I was trying to figure it out using the instructions, but considering I do much better with wood work than any type of metal (mechanical), I originally had a hard time figuring it out. Between your video and the instructions, however, I was able to do it. I must say though, it would have helped a little more if you were able to zoom in a few times, like on the mass sensor bolts and installation. Those were the times I had to refer to the instructions. But I assure you, I wouldn't have figured this out if it weren't for your video. Thank you for keeping me from throwing $400 down the drain.

What else would you recommend to make a 2.0 sound more aggressive and bit louder; currently put Flowmaster 40's on my 2016. Thanks
You might want to consider a down pipe to go along with your exhaust, it will change the tone a bit. But with the down pipe you will need a tune, so do keep that in mind.

Man where can I find the air diffuser that you put on? I put the intake filter and everything but 5 codes came on and obviously something went wrong may be the air diffuser is the problem????
We didn't put on an air diffuser, all we did was swap the intake.
What you might be referring to is the white piece when we take off the factory intake. That was there from the factory.
if you have warranty still on your camaro and you swap out to this device, does it void your warranty?
Yup! 100%
Aren't you suppose to disconnect the negative side of the battery before doing all this to avoid engine light on??
It is suggested that disconnecting the batter be done but we have found that not all Camaro's are effected if that is not done.

No, we did not need a tune after the install.

Unfortunately we are not able to ship any intake system that is not CARB legal into the state of California. So, its not only you but it happens with any order processed by our team.
how come adding a performance intake slowed my 0-60 from originally 5.2 seconds to now a 6.4? i have a 2021 camaro 2.0, can someone explain this? do you need a tune for it to work? I'm losing mpg and power after installing the intake...

I also have a 21 camaro and was thinking about installing this myself, but not after what you just said. Hope that issue is a easy fix.

@@milesm978 yea I still have the issue, I added on a catless downpipe and the 0-60 time is like at a 6 seconds, high end gets a lot power, but 0-60 is still slower than stock
@@OfficiallyRetired that’s really odd. Did you disconnect the battery when you installed it?
I put mine in not too long ago, everything was installed correctly. But when I went to start the car it would rev up, then completely shut the entire car off. Any clue what caused that?
That could have been possible if you did not disconnect the battery during the install. It does not happen very often but when you don't disconnect the battery and disconnect the MAF sensor, the system could see a fault and cause that.
A simple disconnect of the batter should reset that and not cause it to happen again.

Yes, this intake will fit the 2017 models.
My 2019 camaro pcv hose is blocking me from installing the air intake
Which intake system do you have? the PCV hose at the top of the intake will need a special tool to be removed.
The K&N intake system should not require that removal. Other intake brands will require that removal.
Will the MAF auto-adjust the air-fuel mixture?
Yes, the MAF will auto correct for the intake.

Would leaving the diffuser out have any negative consequences? Would it increase the “blow off sound”? I have the GFB diverter valve installed also.
Doing that would disturb the turbulence of the air flow so it could effect the inlet. Other then that we do not see much of an issue.
how much hp did you get only with this mod?

I installed mine not to long ago and my check engine light turned on i replaced the mass air flow sensor turn off for couple days now it back on anybody got an idea why it causing that?

Does this void any new car warranties?
Technically it should not void the whole warranty but we do suggest checking with your local servicing dealer to be sure. They will be the ones to make the call on voiding the warranty.

Have you had the code checked to see what it might be? We have not had this issue on our car.
Phastek Performance it actually was on for one day and then went away. It was like 12° that day so I’m thinking the density of that cold air had something to do with it. Thank you!
Barrack O’Bush did your check engine light came back on? I’m having the same issue, I just installed mine and the light is on, I will try for a whole day and see if it goes away
Frank Chiong mine went away on its own and hasn’t come back. I took out the sensor and put it back in. No problems since! Good luck 🤙🏻

What would be better for my 2010 camaro ss? A corsa performance cold air intake or k&n intake?
We would probably suggest either Cold Air Inductions or Roto-Fab intake over the Corsa and K&N.
But if either of those are in your budget then, we might swing towards K&N.

Yes, this will fit the 2021 models.
On this video it says it fits 2016-2020 but when i go to your website on product link it says it only fits 2016-2019. I have a brand new camaro 2020 just wondering if it will fit? Also any idea of when you will have it in stock?
The kit does fit the 2020 model. Our web team is going to make that update shortly.
As for stock, we show the kit to be on order but we do not have an ETA from K&N. Give our sales team a call and see if they can get you added to our contact list and when that intake becomes available you will be notified.

Looking for a whistle sound
This intake would be a good option for opening up the sound or you could go with the GFB Diverter Valve to a bit more. Here is a link for the diverter valve.

K&N says up to 10hp.
I highly doubt it. More like 6hp tops

I did all this and my check engine light came on.
We are not sure what code you might have that would cause the check engine light. We would suggest finding out what code is coming up and clearing the code to see if the same one returns.
Typically with the intake installation you could see a MAF code, but that could just be a blip in the system. Clearing the code could be all that is needed.

Pas très content je l'ai placé 5min et je l'ai enlevé directement ! ça fait comme un bruit de tôle qui vibre on dirais qu'il prend trop d'air ou pas assez mais en tout cas cet admition direct ne fait vraiment pas un beau bruit... A plus de 500€ je pensais avoir mieux.. Très déçu
