Mais de rien. And absolutely yes. I learned to make the grid with symbols on the PC version. Then I use a tablet as it's more practical to draw the mandala with an I-pencil. Let me know how it goes
I used to do that in Procreate but I didn't search how to do it in Affinity Designer. There is an option to fill colour as you draw any shape but I didn't test it yet on a mandala. Maybe it would require to do the coloured shapes 1st and add the simple lines later? Let me know if you find a way
Hi thanks for the video, i just got one question, how can i export the same line/curves from different symbol groups as a layer? (I hope I make it clear) since if we draw it in the one symbol, we can get the same design in other symbol, but how can we export the same curve from different symbols as one layer?
Hi Esther, I haven't tried it as I wouldn't need it but in the Layers menu you can choose "merge visible" or "merge selected" but the issue is that it changes your layer to pixel. And I need to resize for prints so I'd never use that. (I just tried : merge selected doesn't work on my Ipad. Probably too many layers?)
Thank you. This is the best tutorial❤
Thank you so much! I'm a bit shy as I'm not sure about my English accent, so, that's nice to hear
Thanks! You're very talented
Thank you for your kind words!

You're very very welcome, Linda
Great video! You have such beautiful hands❤
Hey thank you and funny as I really just record videos depending on my nails (that are real haha) and I just broke one today. So I'll have to wait :)
Merci for your grid.
I guess it can be done with AD on a laptop.
I'll give it a try.

Thank you véry much for this clear explanation!
Glad it was helpful, Januz!
YEAH!
That's a cool song by Usher
Is it possible to add color to the inside of the mandala if you are using strokes and not closed shapes?

The volume was too low to follow. But hopefully we can figure out by looking at the video only.
Sorry for that. It was my 1st time recording my voice. Did you try turning the closed captions on? Hopefully, it will help.
