    Thank you for this unique technique. 🙏 I never thought of implementing little Unicorns or Aliens into a mandala. I use an IPadApp Amaziograph to draw mandalas, but I will definitely try this out with Afffinity Designer. Hopefully it will also work on the IPad, because of the pencil.

    Oh my God, finally found the most easiest video to understand about symbol on affinity! Thank you so much 🙏

    Fantastic. Thank you. Was able to follow along and was even able to add layer so that I could duplicate a single symbol around the mandala rather than pairs of mirror images you show in video. But looking back at the layers I find it confusing to understand which layers are doing what. Can you help explain the layer tree relative to the symbols, thank again

      If you have mirrored a single symbol around the mandala rather than a pair of mirrored symbols you will not be able to get a mandala look, as there will be no mirror effect on the whole.
      In this video I created a symbol, created a copy of it and flipped it horizontally to create a mirror, then grouped these two together and then created copies of these on every star guideline. This was I was able to get the complete mirror effect. In the layers panel now I have many groups, each group has two mirrors. I can use any mirror and any group to create mandala. For simplicity I use the bottom group in the layers panel to create mandla.
      I hope it's clear now. If it's still confusing let me know.

      Sorry I don't understand. What ellipse? If you mean you are trying to create copies of ellipse, make sure that you create the ellipse inside the symbol, not outside it.

    Very nice video sir..👍
    Sir mai jab b affinity designer me koi design banati hu aur transform tool se us shape ka size chota bada karti hu tab wo design ka shape change hone lagta hai..
    Example..maine ek cartoon character draw kiya..aur poore character ko group k sath transform tool se size chota karu toh cartoon k nose ka size badalne lagta hai..poora design kharab ho jata hai.
    Isse kaise avoid kare sir??

      Agar ap group ko transform ker rahe hain to 'corner' say resize karain.
      Agar group nahe hai aur sab design elements alag alag hain to sab ko select kr k 'Shift' Key press ker kr corner say resize karain. Kbhi bhe side say resize nah karain.

      @@BusinessClick maine aise hi kiya tha sir...mai firse try karti hu..
      Sir 1 more question.
      Supose maine ek flower banaya..bht se shapes hai..toh saare Shapes ko join curves option se joint karna padta hai?? Ya hum alag alag b rakh sakte hai??

    • @BusinessClick
      @BusinessClick  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@shlokapoojary5069 Join Curve feature is to help you close a shape. If you have all the shapes closed then you don't need to use this feature. Join curve is different from 'Adding' the shapes. I hope you are not confusing the two.

      @@BusinessClick ohk...
      Sir 1 last question..affinity designer me shapes agar open ho .. join curves se maine shape join nai kiya ho aur fir mai transform tool se size bada chota karu toh shape change hoga ya nai??

    • @BusinessClick
      @BusinessClick  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@shlokapoojary5069 If you are resizing it properly, it should resize without any issue. It does not matter if it is a closed shape or not.
