    This was one of the first meals I had in Korea and it’s my all time favorite. I love the carrots, the potatoes, everything and I will definitely be trying this recipe.

    I lived about 40 minutes from Andong for a few years and this quickly became my favorite food. You couldn't literally get in any cab in the city and say Jjimdalk and they would take you to Jjimdalk road which is in the middle of their shopping district and every single restaurant on the street makes Jjimdalk. I think I tried half of them while I lived there.

    15 to 29 cloves of garlic..... yes this is a very authentic Korean recipe!! I use it in all my recipes sometimes even more!!

    HMart.....God I miss having an HMart right down the block. Haven’t been to one since moving to Georgia from NY. I love GA but sometimes I get homesick for Flushing NY.

      I'm in GA and right before I moved out of the Metro Atlanta area I found out I'd been living within 15 minutes of two different H-Marts AND the International Farmer's Market. Still kicking myself for not appreciating it more.

      There's huge korean cummunity & hmart in Duluth, Suwanee and more. My sister lives there, it is wonderful! You must check it out! 🤗

      I found an article that HMart finished purchasing a land in Arlington, Texas which is very exciting news. I did some further research when they are going to break ground..have not found yet. I live in Fort Worth too so cannot wait to have HMart nearby.

    I lived in Korea for a few years but now I am back home. I was having major jjimdak cravings so I made it today using this exact recipe and it was fantastic. I couldn’t get glass noodles though so I used rice noodles. I covered mine in mozzarella cheese. It was amazing. Thank you.

    Did this recipe today and it came out awful. Sugar shouldnt be 1/2cup it was sooooo sweet that i had to add vinegar to balance it. Even so the taste isn’t right.. something is wrong with this recipe. 😢 if you are looking for this type of food go find it somwhere else.😢 we followed everything thats in here and left with a freakin sweet and weird tasting dish.

    But some they pre fried it first the unseasoned chicken then once all the chicken is cooked thoroughly you may add your sauce and potato or sweet potato simmer and let it soften the veg

    Tried this recipe!!! I loved it! But i suggest putting the water after mixing the sauce to the chicken, because mine burnt🤣 but still good tbh!
