what turbocharger did you use and do you reccommend trying to use it on a gl1000 from 78 or do i need to make more mods before i could do that...... sorry im pretty new to motorcycles and i just got my gl1000 and love it
Thanks for your advise, I have driven over 100,000 K's and I'm now on my second car tier with 15,000 k's on it, I can drag my pigs like any other Wing with a stock tire so cornering is not a problem, I do a lot of long distance trips that would kill a stock tier in only 12,000 to 15,000 k's, so far so good , thanks again for your concern

You don't get it do you? Superbikes are designed for ultimate speed, not comfort. Goldwings are designed for ultimate comfort, not speed. But what if you wanted comfort AND speed? Well, let's just say it's easier to make a Goldwing fast than a superbike comfortable... This is the reason people tune four-door saloon cars/sedans. Because if you can sit in comfort, good sound isolation, have four passengers, lots of luggage space *and* see the traffic ahead of you (difficult in a really low supercar) then that is the reason people want them. You just don't get it. That's why you compare apples and oranges.

I ride in the mountains of Colorado and I still have more than enough horsepower to get your attention or get you in deep shit. Now this guy runs a Wing and I am serious when I say that the crotch rockets have trouble keeping up with him...and actually...they dont.Watch him go thru The Dragon's Tail...then sit back and wonder...how does he do it. I couldnt keep up with him on it if my life depended on it and actually...I wouldnt even try. In my case...it would be useless. Begging it said 3psi of boost on this run so the guage wouldent move much. Most boost guages are designed for a lot more pressure.
