gracious that is a lot of brand recommendations. If not for this and the previous video I don't even know there's such a diverse list of instant noodles
That last one is from the "Buldak" (Bul = Fire and Dak = chicken) line from Samyang...there's at least about 8-10 different flavors (Carbonara, Habanero Lime, Jjjang, etc.) and their signature taste is SPICY. I don't know if you recently saw but Denmark has banned these noodles and pulled them off the shelves because of the spice level being possibly "toxic" for consumption.
Update: A few days ago Denmark lifted the ban 2 our of the 3 Samyang Buldak Ramyun stating the capsaicin levels does not exceed standard and those are back on shelves.

My way of making instant noodles ("mì", not "phở" or anything else) for nearly 2 decades has always been pouring boiled water _without_ adding beforehand any packet of seasoning or what else, only do that after pouring out the water. Not quite, Miliket was the second instant noodle to enter the Vietnamese market - but they were a lot more popular. Miliket is often used as noodles for hotpot due to its affordability, and people tend to discard the seasoning package because it sucks. I remeber the flavour used to be a lot worst - it got this weird chemicaly taste to it. Fun fact: We also call them “mì cân (kilogram noodle)” as they used to be sold in a kg bag.
I love this series! Again, you have opened my eyes to instant noodles that I have never heard. I'm not sure if I would eat one with tomato sauce or cheese powder. And I'm too old to be eating spicy seasoning. 😂
Please try Cung Đình noodles, either red or green. It’s perfect and is a hidden gem. Red is stew beef, with tiny meat balls and the flavour is incredible. If you want to try something spicy, the green one is sour and spicy, I believe it’s better than the Hao Hao because the noodles is thick. I highly recommend!!!!
Bún Bò Huế that you’ve found in the South, like HCMC, always is served with thick noodles but actually the original Bún Bò Huế in Huế and Đà Nẵng is different. so I think that Instant BBH somehow has presented the original one quite accurately
In long time ago, when people were in poor, they bought miliket noodles because it was extremely cheap (simple noodles). Later, the economy improved and many types of noodles were born, so they were used to using new types of various flavors, including pho and rice noodles... Now, they use it almost exclusively for hot pot because it's cheap. However, Vietnamese people still do not forget the memories of poverty with Miliket noodles. ❤
