Bro, thank you so much!! No other content mentioned the command [...] wake_armed. Turns out, since I've changed my internet provider, the ethernet port driver was somehow added as being able to send signals to wake up my computer. So whenever I clicked manually on sleep, it would turn on a second later after sleeping. Disabling it on the drivers power page resolved the problem. You are the best!
you are the best!!!!! These neat commands are awesome. I was not able to figure why my computer wont sleep when it's plugged into a TV and thought the TV was the issue... It was the mouse and keyboards. Thank you!!!!
on the first solution what will it say if there is a problem with the application or program? your description confused me a bit. thanks It says " Video Wake Lock " underneath \Device\HarddiskVolume3\Program Files (x86) \Microsoft\Edge\Application\msedge.exe and it also says that underneath the Realtek High Definition Audio driver section
Problem with mine is that when i put it to sleep mode the laptop mute light turns on and the screen shuts off but the white light isnt blinking to show that its in sleep mode.

@@nafis7684 so this is how i fixed mine 1. Open settings 2. Go to personalisation 3. Choose LockScreen If you have your personalised lock screen on SLIDE SHOW then go down to advanced slideshow settings Then UNCHECK " When my PC is inactive, show the lock screen instead of turning off the screen" After that your PC will go to sleep with the time you have set it. Try this and see if it works for you. This is what fixed mine.

Any of the given solution didnt work, as soon as I press the sleep button, the screen again switches on within a second...
