in free fire the s24U was downloading files for free fire so its not that slow. Also let the phones cool down after benchmarks or atleast tell people that they are throttling

Great video, Nick! It's wild to compare the iPad Pro M4 3mm chip second gen vs a Samsung S24U with SD Gen 3 5mm chip. Although the Samsung 24 Ultra was not on the same level as the iPad M4, it held its own. I'd like to see the test again with the S25U with a 3mm chip next year.

The face id on the samsung is not it's go-to unlocking method. It is there for convenience, that's id you want it. So it doesn't have to be compared to that on the iphones and ipads head-on. However, on the Samsung there are options at least
these insane powers comes in handy when playing games rendering videos ,using for sculpting etc etc ...its not for someone who watches yt and scrolls social media ...for comparision s24u drop to 40 fps at times in genshin where ipad gives u 113 avg fps in genshin ...thats like almost 3 times the performance plus u can play some console game
yeah thats what I noticed the most between the two, at the same price you have to decide how much power you need because instead of upgrading to a $1200 S24 Ultra you can get a $1000 more powerful iPad and keep your old phone or get a cheaper new phone and grab the iPad as a more powerful companion. On the other hand, the S24 Ultra with Dex and it's insane multitasking features and S pen is a truly workhorse do it all device.
I rather have my flagship phone with great cameras as I always have it with me. Buy the latest iPad M4 only if you use it for work thus return of value. If not, the refurbished M1 or even the Samsung Tab S8 or S9 are already more than enough for those tablet things. No one should buy M4 for better fps on genshin.
Tbh snaprdragon will run the game at higher resolution then m4 because of its qhd display

The thing is, Samsung seems to load faster but it displays the app before it’s even done loading (it loads while u open it which is why if you scroll down it will start loading) and aople makes sure the entire app is loaded before it is even displayed so it’s faster technically

I bought an M4 iPad Pro for my daughter, for her high school graduation, since she's heading into college. We set it up, and she said she was going to play a game. She opened up the browser and started playing a web based word game. I looked at her and said, "You have the most powerful processor that Aplle makes in that thing. Don't you want to play something that uses that power, like Genshin Impact?"
She shook her head, and played for another 30-45 minutes. I appreciate that the iPad is more powerful, but at the end of the day, it just comes down to use case and OS preference. I would take a Samsung device over an Apple device, all day, every day, because Android feels like it's only limited by your own imagination, where as iPad/iOS, feel's like your're limited to Apple's "Let them eat cake," walled garden.

I know M4 is the most efficiency and Powerful chip, but you need to notice about the power comsumption in M4 is much higher than 8gen3.... , M4 is about 30W max , but 8gen3 is about 14W or less.
It’s actually underclocked to a peak of 15W and the 8g3 can achieve a peak of 17W so it’s pretty fair.

It isn't really gonna show much of a difference in day to day tasks. You need to push the iPad to its max with the more demanding softwares.

Yeah but the iPad is thinner and the m4 has less of a cooling solution to work with. Apple did amazing pulling this off with an arm cpu it’s also underclocked to match the same problems that the spandragon 8g3 would face as well. It’s just a bigger phone

Comparing a laptop class soc to an mobile class soc is unfair

Major issue is loading into an app takes longer with iPad os because of animations.. android just has more snappy animations. iPad is truly much much more powerful though.

Even if the architecture is the same, a high power consuming chip like the M4 with so much area to dissipate heat, against a low power consuming, long lasting and less heat producing SoC. Nice video nick. But the wifi test needs to be ran like 3 times to confirm the true speed. And speedtest isn't the best site to run this sometimes. I prefer fast dot come to it.
