@@dyaanahmad5079 what are you talking about? humans literally can’t perceive anything higher than the 3rd dimension, how do you expect people to animate entire movies in 10D? technically there are animations and games out there that show 4d objects as 3d beings would see them, but an entire movie like that would not be fun to watch. plus idk who told you that movies were going to be in 4d by now, i dont think its realistic that that will ever happen. and its not like now that we have the technology to make 3d animation, we cant use 2d animation ever again, i think its actually the opposite. spider verse demonstrated how we can use a combination of 2d and 3d to make films look gorgeous, idk what you’re complaining about. (also movies were never in 1d, 1 dimensional objects are literally just lines, how would people make movies off of that?)
My favorite scene is when spider-punk left after helping Miles and just before leaving he said "just for the record, i quit." and he threw his future watch off, that scene was SO CLEANNN
This movie was phenomenal but it is so sad to see that the animators were crunched and something about the animation is a bit less enjoyable for me because so many people suffered because of it.
I just realized in the Lego animation part when he dials his “watch” he makes his own sounds for pressing the keys and it’s just like Lego Batman where they have sounds like pew pew pew pew pew for gun shots :D
Something I really liked was the intro with Gwen, nit the fact that it was great, but the fact that the literally took the scene straight out of the comic books but changed the vulture for the one from the other universe and had her dad reject her at first, basically they took events from the books and changed it to perfectly fit spider verse
I've seen a theory that we can see the Miles 42 near the spider that bit our Miles (1610) in the 1st film, making him unvoluntary stole what would've been earth 42's power. Also, since the event of the spider biting the "wrong" Miles lead to the interaction between spider-man and Miles, things might have been different, making Miles 1610 a true anomaly ... but accusing him to be the reason why everything went wrong is a big stretch. edit : those 2 ideas are linked together, basically Miles 42 would've been his dimension spider while Peter Parker 1610 might have stayed spider-man.
I personally really like the Lego movie part two, the songs, the themes, the characters, the animation, the goofiness. Not as good as the original but I think it still is an amazing movie. Btw the fact that wild style drew over her hair I loved so much. Idk why. But I thought it fit her character, and was hilarious. And reminds me of what I used to do to some of my dolls and legos and such to make them seem cooler. P.s. the music is amazing I know some people don’t like it, but I enjoyed every bit. Just as much as everything is awesome.
Animation is getting so much respect, hopefully soon Animators will get better working conditions/pay. Solidarity among artists and workers will make all media better in the long run.
When I saw the movie my mom said she's gonna barf and my sister said that she slept through the movie, but her kids said that this was the greatest movie ever and they are going to watch the sequel
6:00 Just to expand on this since it wasn't mentioned. Not only did he whisper encouragement to Miles, he was pressing his palms against the barrier to show him how to better use his ability. Earlier when Miles was trying to do the same thing to get to Spot, he couldn't do it because he was only using his fingertip. Hobie gave Miles the tip of using your entire palm instead of only your fingertips. Just wanted to add that since it wasn't in the video!
We do get a good amount of Friendly Neighbourhood Spider-Man for Miles. He Takes on Spot. Stops a Mole-man claw creature on the train tracks. Stops a Shoe robbery. With Gwen stops a Thief (guy in the stripes for ten points) and gives a child Life changing advice about licking windows.
Fun fact: there may be two or more versions of across the spiderverse, changing small actions, onomatopoeia and dialogues between one version and another, the most viral example is when miguel asks layla for reinforcements, in one version she stretches out her hand to make a fist bump and in the other she takes a selfie with a rabbit filter
“There’s no villain in this movie” Guys, THIS is the reasons The Spot is a multiversal threat, because not only everyone in the movie underestimated him but now WE do too!
Fun fact about the spider-punk line while miles is trapped in the cage. The version of the movie that I watched he whispered "use palm" (yes there are multiple versions of the movie that have minor voice line changes. just common knowledge.)

(READ THE WHOLE THING BEFORE COMMENTING) I have a confession to make...I don’t like the spider-verse movies. Now I want to clarify, I love Spider-man, I always have, he’s my favourite superhero, I’ve read almost all of the old Stan Lee comics from the 60s-70s era, and I love most of the live action movies. Before anyone comments saying, YOU DON”T LIKE THESE MOVIES BECAUSE THEY’RE ANIMATED, that couldn’t be further from the truth. The 90s Spidey animated series and the Spectacular Spider-man animated series are some of my favourite interpretations of the character. It’s also not because Miles Morales is the main character, I think he’s a really well written and developed character, and a more than worthy addition to the spider-man mythos. It’s also not because I’m too attached to a different adaptation of the character. I grew up on the Toby Maguire movies, but I love the Andrew Garfield movies just as much, and the insomniac Spider-man games to me are about as close to perfection as you can get. No, the thing that keeps me from liking these movies is...their tone. These movies want to be treated as serious Spider-man stories, yet it feels like the majority of the fight scenes and what are supposed to be serious moments (NOT ALL OF THEM) feel like they came straight out of a Looney Tunes cartoon, or feel like pure slapstick. And to me that tone just does not work for Spider-man, (AT LEAST TO ME). Maybe it might in a more comedic take on the character, but not so much for one that wants to be taken seriously on the same level as the Sam Rami, Marc Webb or Insomniac adaptations. And again, it’s not because they’re animated, because the 90s animated series and Spectacular Spider-man didn’t have this problem. And I’m not saying Spider-man should be 100% super serious, like you would see in something like The Dark Knight. Spider-Man should be fun and lighthearted, I just don’t think to this extent. And to be honest, even I don’t fully understand why this tone doesn’t fully work for me. Going off on a bit of a tangent, one of my favourite pieces of media of all time is One Piece, an animated show that’s a mixture of serious story and characters, along with slapstick action and comedy and it works beautifully there, so It should work here too, right? To me, I think it may be because it’s so tonally different from any other Spider-man media, and it completely knocks me out of the movie. It’s a shame because when these movies do commit to the dramatic moments they knock them out of the park. There were just so many times while watching all I could think about was how much more invested I would be in certain scenes if things were played straight, like the scenes in the first movie where Peter and Miles sneak into Doc Ock’s lab or Peter teaching Miles how to web sling for the first time. To me it’s like if you made a Batman movie with overtly comedic elements but with a story that was meant to be taken as seriously as something from The Dark Knight or The Batman. I just don’t think this tone can work with every other series, and that includes Spider-man, (AGAIN, TO ME). In my opinion, I guess I just don’t understand why some people say they can’t get into the Sam Rami movies because they’re too campy or too silly, yet they can get into these movies just fine, (AGAIN, MY OPINION). Hey, if people don’t like Man of Steel because, in their words, tonally it’s not what Superman should be, then I’m allowed to think the same way about Into and Across the Spider-verse in regards to Spider-man. BUT, I’m not writing this to tell everyone that my opinion is right and everyone else is an idiot for loving these movies, it’s the opposite. Because I genuinely feel bad that I can’t get into these movies like everyone else can, in fact I'd say I’m jealous. I don’t want to not like these movies, because as I said before, I love Spider-Man, and I have tried so many times to watch these movies and see what everyone else sees in them, but I just can’t get into them. And that really upsets me, because I can see clear as day how much passion, effort and love has been put into every frame of these movies by the people who made them, who love the character and universe of Spider-man like I do, and the fact that I just can’t connect with what they’ve made, unlike so many other people, honestly breaks my heart.
There is also a spider plush and I absolutely love him even though he didn’t talk at all was in like 6 scenes for a spilt second and he is the cutest little thing ever literally my top favorite characters in ATSV are spider plush, lego Spider-Man, Pav, and lastly peter parked car. Hands down that’s it.

Most people don't know the genius but in the comics this happens sorta, the spider is from the wrong universe and miles gets transported to the universe the spider was from but miles in that universe was Kingpin so me watching the ending was thinking, oh my god Miles Kingpin which would tie the first movie in aswell and Aaron working with or for him then boom huge bamboozle for everyone (people new to Miles and people who know alot about him).

I’ve never watched a movie this good in my LIFE. (I think I was half death when hobie got introduced I’m happy i’m not alone about the sound)
“I’m tired of everyone always telling me how MY story’s supposed to go. Nah imma do my own thing.” 🔥
I’ve gotta be honest, Across the Spiderverse is probably my favorite movie of all time.
ik this is unrelated but i love ur pfp its so beautiful
@@Gobble640 So is yours fellow frog
@@funnynamedottxt thanks
This movie was phenomenal but it is so sad to see that the animators were crunched and something about the animation is a bit less enjoyable for me because so many people suffered because of it.
Total Drama Miguel is amazing, one of my favorite movies mixed with one of my favorite childhood shows is chefs kiss.
You’re genuinely such a big inspiration for me, I love your videos so much awesomemay
I just realized in the Lego animation part when he dials his “watch” he makes his own sounds for pressing the keys and it’s just like Lego Batman where they have sounds like pew pew pew pew pew for gun shots :D
babe wakeup new peak awesomemay review just dropped
Great job on the lego scene I loved it and I was blown away that you made it your gonna make it far
the man the myth the legend!

For the pencil joke,the vulture
Something I really liked was the intro with Gwen, nit the fact that it was great, but the fact that the literally took the scene straight out of the comic books but changed the vulture for the one from the other universe and had her dad reject her at first, basically they took events from the books and changed it to perfectly fit spider verse
These movies will go down in history and I am so happy I got to watch them in the theaters and that I am able to be apart of this community
Everybody who doesn’t understand the pencil joke
(EDIT) Since i didn’t watch the movie, I have no clue, even after he explained
Across the spider-verse is the greatest most perfect movie i have ever seen.
Reason why Spot is a menace:
“I’m gonna crease your J’s” -Spot
I personally really like the Lego movie part two, the songs, the themes, the characters, the animation, the goofiness. Not as good as the original but I think it still is an amazing movie.
Btw the fact that wild style drew over her hair I loved so much. Idk why. But I thought it fit her character, and was hilarious. And reminds me of what I used to do to some of my dolls and legos and such to make them seem cooler.
P.s. the music is amazing I know some people don’t like it, but I enjoyed every bit. Just as much as everything is awesome.
ATSV somehow changing the game in the animation industry AGAIN, beating its own predecessor of ITSV.... crazy to me.
Man just pulled out the heartbeat edit (i think?) of hobie and talked about his hidden development 💀💀
Animation is getting so much respect, hopefully soon Animators will get better working conditions/pay. Solidarity among artists and workers will make all media better in the long run.
I got chills in the first movie when miles takes a leap of faith ( rewatched the movie multiple times and still always got the chills)
As someone who didn't read the comics, I underestimated the hell out of the spot
Heck yeah spider may is here with new video and this movie truly did change my life as well, I will never be the same
The entire time I was just taking in the BACKGROUNDS. Like wtf the colors are insane!!!
Told you I'd be here the second it came out
8:48 omfg why can’t we have nice things in this world
Fun fact: there may be two or more versions of across the spiderverse, changing small actions, onomatopoeia and dialogues between one version and another, the most viral example is when miguel asks layla for reinforcements, in one version she stretches out her hand to make a fist bump and in the other she takes a selfie with a rabbit filter
“There’s no villain in this movie”
Guys, THIS is the reasons The Spot is a multiversal threat, because not only everyone in the movie underestimated him but now WE do too!
Amazing video for something you worked on for so little time!
Damn, this video had a bigger cliffhanger than the actual movie😮

Heh, good timing; was actually just working on my Spidersona. Gosh, this movie is just moving ART, MWAH-

As a Lego, I can confirm that we young figs are the highlight of the movie
He said 3 nights and a shiver went down my spine
Im totally, on board with you, i would also be a weird dark void thing if someone threw a bagel at me.
Fun fact about the spider-punk line while miles is trapped in the cage. The version of the movie that I watched he whispered "use palm"
(yes there are multiple versions of the movie that have minor voice line changes. just common knowledge.)
holy shit i love your channel? i’m so glad i found this video i’ve genuinely never been so invested over a channel i just found 😭 i totally agree with like - everything, you said! atsv is one of my favourite movies up to date rn
that is so nice! im trying my best to make good content!
@@Awesomemay WELL UR DOING AMAZING LOL 💥💥💥
16:46 bro, my audio stopped working after May said the thing about big studios messing up too, and I thought it was a joke as part of the video since we were talking about bad audio. Then I reloaded and realized it was just my phone 😅
thats so funny lmaoo
I loved this movie so much it was so good it doesn't even feel like its a thing I feel like a dream
(READ THE WHOLE THING BEFORE COMMENTING)
I have a confession to make...I don’t like the spider-verse movies.
And that really upsets me, because I can see clear as day how much passion, effort and love has been put into every frame of these movies by the people who made them, who love the character and universe of Spider-man like I do, and the fact that I just can’t connect with what they’ve made, unlike so many other people, honestly breaks my heart.
bro really wrote a whole paragraph to try to hide the fact he aint invested in spiderman💀
I have one question: If Miles is an anomaly, why does he have Canon events?
There is also a spider plush and I absolutely love him even though he didn’t talk at all was in like 6 scenes for a spilt second and he is the cutest little thing ever literally my top favorite characters in ATSV are spider plush, lego Spider-Man, Pav, and lastly peter parked car. Hands down that’s it.
I rewatched it yesterday and even my grandparents loved it!
I love your vids your so underrated even tho you have a lot of subscribers you are so good and I love the second spider verse movie
When I was watching the movie at the end a random guy just yells “what the f--“ and everyone starts laughing
FINALLY SOMEONE WHO LOVES MONA LISA 😭 that song has a death grip on me it’s SO GOOD
ITSSS SO GOOD THE FLOW SO CATCHY
It’s been like almost a week since I saw this movie (for the SECOND time) and my brain still hasn’t recovered
at my movie theater i the dialogue volume was really low and whenever a character narrated the speaker had an echo. still a fire movie
I haven’t watched the new spiderverse movie yet probably like some of y’all so I will come and watch this once I do! Good to know it’s amazing just like imagined! Love ur vids!
thank you!!
@Awesomemay it was indeed amazing and I agree I love the Indian spider man so much aghhhh
Also the amount of references is insane! His friend saying he’s “not the guy in the chair“ and the reference to no way home and then talking about dr strange was so funny. The chai tea thing was also funny bc I thought about how my grandma keeps saying “queso cheese” which just means “cheese cheese” lol
Also they did the Spider-Man meme in the spider man movie??? What???
I've said this a lot but, this movie is so good that I'm glitching! There's no way a movie this spectacular, fantastic, and amazing exists in our universe. Same with the music. It's so relaxing and soothing. And yes, Mona Lisa is so good. Same with Am I Dreaming. Fun fact, there's a Japanese song performed by LiSA who also sang the opening for Demon Slayer. And just like the movie itself, it's just as good.
:spider-verse: *looks behind there back* :FNAF movie: *stares at spider-verse*
Completely agree with you about the Lego Spider-Man scene being the best scene
I love the way that they used the prowler miles reveal.
Fun fact: when miles falls off a building in the first movie, you can see the number 42 by him after he crashes
awesome to work with some stuff in this review!
I watch this in the movie theater when it came out, it was sick. Also great vid spider-may.
Edited because of STUPID autocorrect
YOUR TELLING ME THAT LEGOME_THEOG ANIMATED THAT??????? NO WAY!!!!! I found his channel when it was at 5000 subscribers (He's at a whoping 200k now). I can't believe how much his channel has grown, and seeing the movie JUST TONIGHT, I had NO IDEA that he animated that scene! That's CRAZY!!! He must be having the time of his life right now! I... I just can't believe it! I don't know what else to say than that I am so suprised and happy right now! Good for him, that really must be something amazing to be apart of.
The plot twist at the end of the video got me
Incredible and amazing movie my parents didn’t like it idk why they are crazy the character development and conversations in this movie just hit and are emotional action is top notch and animation is a 100/5
this was literally such a banger video 🥺🥺
Can’t wait to hear what you have to say about this masterpiece of a film!!!
Really good movie but in the theater when it just cut to "to be continued" i was just sad it ended
They want the next spider verse movie to come out soon, but I’d rather wait another 4 years than have them mess up the trilogy
I remember at the Lego Sean in the movie , everyone cracked up in the movie theater and at the end cliff hanger my older brother cursed out that ending which embarrassed me and everyone was looking at us and my favorite meme now is,maybe get of the kids aa…. Hilarious😅
May: Alright let’s do this one last time My name is AwesomeMay I was a animator for TH-cam and for the last 6 years I’ve been the one and only AwesomeMay. I’m pretty sure you know the rest you see I saved TH-cam Animation, Subscribed to people, and I saved TH-cam again and again and again and again. But after all that i always get more likes cuz there’s one AwesomeMay and your looking at him. Me: ok I’m Damianimations.
Love the mii wii u music in the background ❤
its all the bagel effect may its all the bagel effect
This movie is so good
i need this movie to go on streaming as soon as possible i wanna rewatch it so bad
The fact that those guys are not animators and instead film makers they cannot understand what's happening during layout or blocking stages . If they were from animation industry they could have reduced the work load . I don't blame them nor the artist.its just what it is
it was such an amazing movie but GOD DAMNIT i was genuinely pissed off when it said "To be Continued"
like BEST movie of 2023 nothing will top it off I doubt it 100%
