Yes, I agree with your point of having a top handle. It gives access to interesting angles of views. Specialy with an Ultra Wide Angle, beeing close to the floor allows interesting compositions.
Just one point, I’ve chosen a top handle equiped with a start/stop button. It’s more convenient.
Thanks again Sean, your help has made my content so much better over the years. You're a Legend!
Epic stuff bro! Love your work!
Lots of great tips for a beginner like me. Thank you 😊
These tips are so good that I'm mad that I sat through 100 subpar tutorials from other creators prior to watching this. Great stuff Sean! Love the analogies :)
Haha awesome to hear and glad they were useful!
Thank you for your tips for freehand filming! I can always learn from your GREAT VIDEOS 😃 👍 👍 👍

Very generous video . Thanks a lot and greetings from France ☀️☀️
Glad you enjoyed it! Heya France!
Great tips in shooting handheld. The exampls of what fonts to never use in videos was a nice added bonus.
Haha fair enough but I like them. Likely going to keep using them ;)
Thank you for sharing 👍👍👍
Pleasure! Thank you for watching!
Nice tips! Thx
Happy to help!
Great tips bro 😎🔥🔥
Appreciate it!
great vid cheers mate
Glad you enjoyed it
Thank you for this,
btw if your camera has battery grip attachment, it also helps a lot with the weight and you don't need to change batteries as often
Ah yeah good idea too!
thanks for sharing😍😍👍👍
Thanks for visiting
Man.. will deginitely try this. I have a zv-e1 with smallrig cage & top handle but my footage always is jittery conpared to what I see from other people.. especially in 4k24 1/50 f1.8 😅😅
Ah perfect, hope it helps and you get the results you are after.
I’m surprised you haven’t mentioned side handles. I find them more useful than a top handle in any handheld situation. Except maybe for low angles.
Yes Mr. Miyagi 6:42 "Not Matter Who's Stronger. Matter Who's Smoother!"
Haha too true ;)
Have a good day and excel @@seankitching
What film burn transitions are you using? Are they from motionvfx?
🔥🔥🔥
When I was small I was shining a laser pointer into a neighbors window and they were screaming and shouting all night out the window, threatening to shoot me. It was hilarious. Anyways, I love shooting handheld, so I rigged out my camera cage with external batteries for added weight and it works well. on TIP 4, I tend to literally fall after leaning for that last second of "smoothness" when shooting slow mo. 😅
Suspension Legs works for me
What about shutter speed? 180 degree rule can ruin certain types of handheld footage and make it impossible to stabilise in post.
So under rated

Thank you so much! I am happy with my community already so anything is a bonus :)
Please release the subtitles in Portuguese, thank you!

man oh man,...16 likes already before I got here. Doesn't pay to be late.....all the pizza is gone and somebody tipped over the guacamole dip. Great video!
Nooo not the Guac!
When is your favourite time to shoot handheld?
Or just buy a lumix camera
if all you want is better ibis then maybe
@@seankitching it was just a joke I was being biased because I love lumix any way I really enjoyed the video great info I’m going to use
New lady?
These flashy transitions are so bad. Please don't overuse them next time...
