Haha glad you liked it😂
Great!!! An advanced tips could be great 🫶🏻
Noted 👍🏼
👏👏👏
Great tips, Jakub. I’m curious what your thoughts are on side handles. As a handheld shooter myself i find side handles to be my favourite grips. I use the top handle only to carry the camera and sometimes just for low angle shots.
Thanks man! I absolutely agree, side handles are great especially with cube format camera or heavier rigs.
Great tutorial. 👍 Whenever I saw a video about shaky cam on TH-cam, it turns out they are giving guide to record smooth handheld footage! I mean, that's for amature who do not have gimbal and yet want smooth footage. We film makers do not want that!! Hollywood directors prefers a large portion of the films to be shot handheld in a controlled shaky way, so that the tension can be portrayed. So we need to know how to create visually appealing frames with the shake. Your tips are good.
Glad you liked the tutorial man! I can see you know what you are talking about :)
I believe that camera movement should serve a purpose whether it's handheld or static, it should support the story.
I do love handheld shooting tho :D
The grade on your main talking head shot is gorgeous...... did you add the chromatic aberration?
I didn’t but there might have been a bloom filter on my friends lens.
Enjoyed your tips... Very helpful.... Q: are you a member of AOD?
Yes I am! Are you?
@@JakubChlouba I am.. I remember the footage of your cyclist... forget the title of your film... But was really well done....
Hey Jakub, what’s monitor arm is it? I’m kind of struggling to find that works for me. Tried more than 10 options😂😂😂
This one is from Movcam and comes with the Agile pack from Kinefinity. Will make a rig breakdown next week:)
I know it is not anymore about this camera but I am currently looking into the new lumix cameras and my biggest complain is the hdmi delay. What are your experiences in this regards?
I was using Lumix for the past three years and got used to the delay. It can be a problem if you are working with a focus puller but if you are focusing yourself it’s easy to get used to it.
@@JakubChlouba even if you need to react quickly to the situation to catch it and not miss it? mostly in documentary style filmmaking you don't know what you talent does the next sometimes? ^^ thanks for the quick answer btw
what kind of plate did you use to attach the arca swiss?
Currently none🤣 In this setup I have a Smallrig base plate (without quick release) attached straight to the camera.
But I just ordered a Small Rig quick release plate (Manfrotto type) and will attach that to the base plate.
Will do a rig breakdown next week so come back for it🤙🏼
@@JakubChlouba Would you say that travel type tripod enough? I was thinking of getting a sirui traveler x for my mavo
How heavy is your rig?
I would say around 3-4kg but haven’t weighed it haha
6:16 don't like your tripod ( I mean, camera is too heavy ;)
hahaha good point man! It's not my main tripod it's just I didn't have the heavy duty one with me in Bali :D
@@JakubChlouba tripod... is always the thing when you want to use it, the heavier the better, when you want to carry it, you want it to disappear...XD
haha you exactly man!@@chennyye28
I wish humans hands were stable...
Best comment🤣
