I have a white squarebody with blue ghost pearl in it!!! Looks awesome….the gray with blue pearl looks killer too…i sprayed my valvecovers grey with blue pearl
I wanna paint my LS swapped 82 Gmc 68Corvette Bronze. Wonder what pearls would look good in that? Search 68 corvette bronze Camaro for color reference. #squarebody 😎
I bought a '76 VW Safari (Thing) and a prior owner used a pure gold. I think it was originally similar to the sunburst yellow color. I'm digging the gold in the clear coat effect on this color.
A good friend paint 67 Camaro yellow with a gold flake in his garage ,we didn’t no exactly what we doing young inexperienced , but dam that car came out awesome .
Looks like tints using clear is the best way, rather than adding to base. Makes sense. Thanks for the videos. I'm building an enclosed area to paint my Crown Vic and F150. Vic is gonna be deep green using a green tint over matte black, similar to that blue one you did last week.
Brother you keep on dropping this fire on us! This is yet another combination I've been waiting to see. My wife's favorite color is yellow and I wanted to see a gold or yellow over a bright yellow. I'd like to see this on an OBS Chevy C10 or an old Acura Integra or something along those lines. Great video
I was curious what the yellow was going to do on the matte blue base, I expected a green (ish) tint. I suspect the pigment directly in the paint just painted the pigment. I would love to figure out a root beer type brown base with a gold flake.
I know on a single stage metallic paint and lot of the paint is nothing but binder or maybe like the Inner Coat that you use sometimes. I would like to see that Kin Gold on a tan or sand color, I'm thinking it would look a lot like the Dodge Sand Metallic they had in the late 80s. As to this yellow, it makes a real nice color, almost gold and it just pops.
I think that yellow would look great as an accent color, like flames, a stripe, or even better numbering a door. I think it would be a little much as a primary color tho
Kinda off topic - Walmart has a shift change (blue to purple). I've been trying to finish my Accord and the main thing that's holding me up is the price of the 2 stage paint/clear.... But anyway, I got a couple cans and I've already got the car primed in flat black (Rust-Oleum) so I shot the trunk lid with the color change and it's crazy! The can said to hold it back 10 inches.... Shoot, it's more like a foot and a half! I'm thinking about taking the paint out of the spray can & use it with the 500r low volume gravity feed gun. It took about 8 12oz cans of primer to cover a 2000 Accord sedan.... The shift change is around $11 a can... I should get the gallon (clear) kit and add the shift change to the clear (I don't know if they'll mix together right)
Can you try to do a white Pearloid effect with huge flakes? Like what you would see on a pick guard for a guitar. I would love to paint my Harley like this. Thanks my friend
I love what you do. I am looking to repaint my 69 mustang back orange with blacked out hood ( boss 302) but I want to add pearl to it. So I was wanting to see what orange looks like with a yellow pearl
Suggestion for eye candy, it would be helpful if you had more speed shapes on your website for us car guys. Resin mold samples aren’t much help for painting.
That color is amazing! Have you ever tried some kind of metal flake over and olive drab before? Dont ask me why I think of colors like that :P, just something that popped in my head. Like a dark green metal flake over olive drab. Just sounds interesting and different. Great vids man, keep em coming!
Thank you for all that you do bro. Could you do something like a silver or grey or rainbow over black. And subtle, like 1-3g? I only ask because I love the colours but I want to do a subtle job. Thank you
What do you suggest for a color close to the late 90's suburban burgundy color. The actual color is dark toreador. Need to paint truck but don't want to paint door jams. Was thinking black base with eye candy burgundy. Or the Rust-Oleum red with burgundy on top.
Can you try a green over black. Want color to look really dark with green in sun, thanks I'm painting a C3 corvette and looking at some kind of black with green pearl

@@RedEyedPatriotI think that might look good!
You have some good content. Keep it up.
When you add pigment into the paint the paint hides the pigment. It covers it.
Charcoal grey with pink pearl!
Lets go!!!!
🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏
That would look awesome on a 55 Chevy ! That color yellow and white ‼️😃👍
Looks pretty sick. I think I would add some bigger flake in there as well and really make it pop
Damn GT! With the clear that’s PIMP Daddy Gold brother. It’s stunning. Thanks!
I would like to see a flat white primer, with some kaki orange pearl..really enjoy your videos thank you for sharing...

that was a interesting paint experiment. I always spray my base coat with a clear mid- coat with the flake&pearls in it, then two coats of clear coat.

Cool effect. You can buy that color of yellow in a quart can, no need to spray it into a cup.

Just finished a project using Coconut Pearl with Gold Pearl over the Coconut. Wish I could post pics here.
That looks amazing!
Is there any way you can paint a midnight purple color with Metalic flakes?
Great color! considering adding this gold for my yellow crx
I wouldnt mind seeing the yellow pearl over a pewter base! Its an idea ive been thinking about for a little bit!
Great work
Love it, Carnal!
Yellow only looks good on certain vehicles. My buddy's 70 Camaro was 1 and gold is a large luxury car color 👍👍
Awesome work man!!!!

A bright orange would be cool with some ghost pearl. I'll definitely use the code next. Ordered angle blue 2 days ago
Deep maroon or cherry with a light coat of gold!

I just spray wrapped a H3 a color similar to this.
You should do this gold over the black subtly like you did that. Nokon blue.
The gold over a candy root beer brown would be ridiculous
I love what you do. I am looking to repaint my 69 mustang back orange with blacked out hood ( boss 302) but I want to add pearl to it. So I was wanting to see what orange looks like with a yellow pearl
Welp just placed my order ,ill be spraying mine over "goldensunset yellow"
Black with yellow racing stripes, then lock it all in with the gold clear. 🤷♂️
id love to see that color on an EG civic hatch
I would love to see the sunburst yellow with ghost blue pearl. Thanks

I’d like to see the kin Gold over mat black
Love to see the gold over a vibrant blue ?

I would like to see a green with a purple Pearl flakes
hey sir, what do think would look good over silver base with candy brandywine on top of that and then whatever you suggest?
Whats pigment vs pearls... are pearls always color changing. Thanks so much
I’d like to see what you do with Ink Blue 2X. It goes on nice, prussian blue ink.
Yellow is my least favorite color, but with that Pearl you made it look good.
That’s fire. Do you think it would last with uv on it and would it be the same effect with just adding the pearl to the clear.
Kin gold over black please!!!!
What do you suggest for a color close to the late 90's suburban burgundy color. The actual color is dark toreador. Need to paint truck but don't want to paint door jams. Was thinking black base with eye candy burgundy. Or the Rust-Oleum red with burgundy on top.
Do you have to sand that every time you paint it?
Do it with a wine red
Can you do that Kim Gold over a lime green?
Can you try a green over black. Want color to look really dark with green in sun, thanks I'm painting a C3 corvette and looking at some kind of black with green pearl
I wonder what that kin gold would look like in clear coat over black?
How long will these paint jobs last
Curious why you empty spray paint into gun. Doesn't Rust-Oleum also have non-spray paint in a can?
can we see a grabber green base with something?
See if you replicate a purple ghost pearl using cheap dollar tree or Walmart white spray paint.
Can you do something in a lighter color with a gray or Japanese steel pigment? Maybe like a black and orange with a grey flake?
Have you ever done midnight purple 3
Paint that color yellow on motorcycle tank and fenders with black stripes ?
I would like to see that flake over a black or navy blue
Bad ass
kin gold over tan?
