Hi Dr, I have a 7 Cm Mild Complex Cyst,(Endometrioma/chocolate cyst) I am asymptomatic, No family history. My Obgyn wants to wait 3-4 months but I got a second opinion from Onco obgyn and he recommends removing it. What are the changes of Endometrioma cyst going smaller in size or going away in 3-4 months?
It can get smaller with medication, That is an alternative option!

Hello Dr, thanks for the educative video. Please can you speak on haemorrhagic multiple ovarian cysts. Endoscopic gynae suggests that I take them out asap.

If they are bothersome and painful, yes. Otherwise, you may be a candidate to observe it.

The first is a cyst in the uterus, usually correlates with adenomyosis.

What are septated cysts? What are their risks based on if they are causing symptoms or not?
Septated means they have a line in between them, 2-3 cysts are clumped together. Mild septations don't pose any additional risk

Hi Dr I've a 10.6×7.8cm adnexal cyst and it's sometimes little painful or discomfort and Dr suggest me to go for surgery but I want to go for a second opinion as I'm so afraid of surgery and after effects. What you suggest me
I would trust your doctor on this one as 10 cm is quite large.
What is ovarain calcification ,if one develops right ovarian calcification after removal of ovarian cyst by laproscopic surgery
Doesn't happen as a result, but calcifications are typically benign.

Hiii Dr. I had a missed abortion around 1 and half month ago and then i found out that i have 5.35×6.53 cm right ovarian cyst when i had severe pain in right side of lower abdomen during 1st periods after abortion. My gynaecologist has recommended to wait for three months and is giving me estrogen and progesterone combination pills to avoid ovulation. But from few days i am experiencing brown - black spotting along with very small clots . Is it something to worry? Because i am not able to understand why is it happening if i am taking pill every day

If I currently have a hiatal hernia and am getting surgery for a 5cm ovarian cyst, should I opt for a mini-laparotomy instead of a laparoscopy because of the gas pressure on the stomach?
