As someone considering moving to Greenville from Southern California by the end of this year, I have to say it's odd and a bit alarming that EVERY TH-cam video, Tiktok, Reddit post, and city review about Greenville has multiple local commenters telling others not to move there. "We're Full" seems to be copy/pasted everywhere. I get that locals in lots of places like to gatekeep the their towns for nostalgia's sake, but I've never encountered so much open hostility toward outsiders all coming from one city. So much for Southern Hospitality. Can anyone confirm whether this is just an online phenomena or whether we would face it in real life too? I'd like to be able to make friends with my new neighbors and this is a major and genuine concern.
Jessica, please take with a grain of salt what local residents take the time to comment on my TH-cam channel. I don't think they represent the majority of opinions here. New residents choosing Greenville as their new home is ultimately a good thing for the area- it stimulates the local economy, keeps the housing market in moderate-high demand, adds to the local govt's tax revenue, brings in new business ideas, and so on. If you buy a home here, and walk out your front door pretty much every conversation you have with your neighbors will be a positive one. Of course you have your bad apples, but no, hostility to transplants is not the majority consensus here. I'd love to connect with you further about this. Can you email me at wcsawyerjr@kw.com?
The prices of everything is shooting up because of people like you. Blacks especially are being kicked out their homes. Don't come here. Keep your uppity behind in SoCal.
Great video! we live south of atl and are looking for a new place to settle down. the Greenville area is on our radar and your video gives great insight.
It definitely depends on when and where. Greenville is more of a hun than Spartanburg so more people from out of town come into Greenville some more traffic in Greenville makes sense. Plus, more people live in Greenville.
@@gvlrealestate I come to Greenville often and two of my children live there but I just could not deal with Woodruff Road traffic every day. Also I believe Greenville has more of a big city atmosphere and people are not as outwardly friendly. Spartanburg / Woodruff not so much…Yet😁
Woodruff road is really the only place with unbearable traffic. Even five o'clock traffic on 85 usually isn't too bad, especially if you stay below the woodruff road exit. Eh. Pelham road traffic might be pretty bad too I haven't been that north in awhile.
I'm sorry......the best thing about Greenville is not it's "park" space......that is an insult to true Greenvillians. There is so much more of greater value in Greenville that only a realtor or someone not from here could not recognize or acknowledge. Live here for a while and learn the history of the area and learn to appreciate that, then get on youtube and express your views. Otherwise, please keep those selfserving /ignorant views to yourself. Greenville is becoming overcrowded and losing the charm that has put us on everyone's move-to list.
Good video but greenville is getting too congested and the infrastructure is definitely not ready yet. Crime is rising due to the influx and realestate pricing is getting as high as everywhere else...Not the best option anymore
Very well done -- great video and well put together.
Thank you
I;m looking at Mauldin, Taylor and Simpsonville for retirement.
Awesome!!
Looks good man!
Thanks!
Good job, Will! Best Greenville video yet.
Thank you so much!
Awesome video, man! 🔥
Thanks for not mentioning Easley, we seem to be on the Greenville Chambers' view to resolve Greenville's housing problems.
Certainly a lot of things going on in Easley.
Exactly!

Cuz we don’t want liberals coming here turning our beautiful city and state blue. If you’re gonna keep voting for democrats, please stay in California

Greenville has lots to offer but the traffic is horrible. Spartanburg is a good option

All that woodruff rd traffic has people tense!! 😂
It’s not bad during the week. We live off of woodruff rd.

What about jobs for people with disability in Greenville SC?
Oh great question. What industry?
@@gvlrealestate I would like to talk about them in general. If I am a new immigrant with a disability, can I find a job?
I came here to hear a cool accent 🎤🎵🎶
Thank ya!! 😂
Cons: We're full. Stop moving here.
Good video. Bad squeeky music.
Thanks for the view!
