What are the dimensions of the bolts to remove the housing? I dropped one and need to replace it

Is there any other air filter to be replaced in this 2014 X1 BMW?
You should also have an engine air filter located under the hood. Unfortunately, we do not have an installation video for this particular filter. Please keep in mind that the required filter may vary depending on your engine size.

Our tech wasn't sure but advised it is either an 8 mm or 5/16 socket.
