    There`s still a Mann in this video. Nice to see that you are using the best oil and filter and thanks for taking the time to make this. P.S. You are incredibly attractive.

    Great video. Did you need to raise your X1 to drain the oil?

    I like how you can just change the oil filter without going under the car for older X1s.

    A little narration would be helpful. It looked like you pulled an o-ring off the filter housing but not clear and you did not say anything. As well, you say remove CCW but don't say what it is and don't show it in place.

    I have basically the same vehicle. It's cool. So curious, how do you jack the front end up so you can get underneath?

    So people are spending 120 to 140 (is that right ) for oil change at dealer? ,or dealer checks other issues that's why so high.

      The dealer will ALWAYS find something else that's wrong to charge you stupid money for when they do their "50 point check"

    I have a 2014 X1 and its time for oil change. I look at the helpful hint that you presented and its clear with your instruction. I wonder how much will it cost to bring this to the dealership. Thank you Miss Marina.

    Marina would you please give more details regarding the tool used to remove oil filter cap. Also socket size to remove oil drain plug. Thanks in advance.
    The procedure to reset oil service is not clear enough. A direct front view of the camera would be useful.

    Surely drain oil then replace oil filter?

    • @marinasworkshop780
      @marinasworkshop780  5 ปีที่แล้ว +10

      It doesn't matter, since oil filter is on top of the engine and placed vertically. When you turn off the engine, all the oil drips into the sump. Oil filter doesn’t hold more oil than it contains inside itself, it will not help draining if you remove it last like in classic configuration when it's on the bottom. Furthermore, even if it's on the bottom of the engine, it's often higher than sump, so you won't get much of it coming out of the oil filter line.
