    Genuine question, how did you start getting booked for events like these? Its what I find most challenging.

    Thanks for the tips dude. Love the footage from beyond wonderland. Pretty sure I saw you throughout the crowd that weekend. Also based out of Portland. I've begun shooting local shows in Eugene this year. Trying to get on this level of shooting festivals 🤞🏽

      My pleasure Asim!
      Beyond Wonderland was definitely a fun one - you probably saw me towing my camera around everywhere 😂

    Hey great and helpful content, I Just have a question the distorted like videos and images on this content are what is like to use a fish eye lens at the festival?

    • @TARIQABDELPHOTO
      @TARIQABDELPHOTO  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thank you so much!
      Yes, exactly! Those distorted videos are created with my Sony A7R III with a Canon 8-15mm fisheye lens attached.
      I use a metabones adapter to connect the two.

      @@TARIQABDELPHOTO and then any tuning in post or just the image itself comes like that (sorry with my too many questions).

      @@Visualsthatgohard you got it! All of your images and footage will look the same when you’re editing as well, with that super wide fisheye effect!
      It’s great when you’re shooting a music festival.
      Ask as many questions as you’d like :) that’s what I’m here for.

      @@TARIQABDELPHOTO I'm definitely going for that look I love and especially if stage design is well done like in most of your footage and photos it's awsome. And okay another question or more like professional advice "what you think about Sony A7 for a starting point into event photography" ? And thank you for your patience and time to respond.

    • @TARIQABDELPHOTO
      @TARIQABDELPHOTO  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I think any of the Sony A7 models would be a great start when you're first getting started with music photography!
      Especially because of their low light performance, since a lot of the times you will be shooting at night, or in a venue without the greatest lighting.
      My Sony A7R III has been treating me very well - and now it's the camera I use for TH-cam as well.

    Hey nice video! Question, do you still use the rode mic at -10? And if so, would the camera volume be at 1?
    Thank you!

    • @TARIQABDELPHOTO
      @TARIQABDELPHOTO  9 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Thank you!
      Yes, I always record my raw clips with my Rode Mic set at -10 decibels! 😊
      Since I shoot in manual mode the audio recording levels can’t be adjusted on my camera (Sony A7R III), but I switched to “movie mode” to see what the audio level is set as, and it’s at 25 out of 31.
      But if it helps to know more, I never change the audio level on my camera for anything I record, since I’ll always use the Rode for concerts & lav mic for TH-cam.

      @@TARIQABDELPHOTO awesome! Thanks for the info. Been using rode go for EDM shows. But since I’m shooting at countdown this year I thought I’d up my game with audio!
