Simply magical . One often heard the saying know yourself . It never occurred to me how one understands the self .
But listening to him , I am beginning to feel how I have missed him all this years . Such clarity and such dedication .
I can listen to him for hours .

Take aways : Art of living is living without conflicts. self-centric is the reason for the conflicts because self-centric is limited. Try without self-centric for 1 hour then you can extend, this gives you tremendous energy. It gives great sense of passion, pursue something profoundly to the end of things.

    • @Factcheck483
      @Factcheck483 3 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

@@memelodytelugu when you say a Successful Career..it's still the self centric thought. Do an activity ( if you want to) which is not self centric. Try it for an hour at least. In that hour there is no centre that is working ( the "I" in you or related activities to it). It's like doing an activity for the sake of doing it, not because you want a particular outcome from it.( cause if you're doing it for an outcome, then there's an "i" that is working and so that problem will still arise and the cycle will continue. Basically this is what we are doing daily). It's like dealing an event from completely different perspective. Atleast this is what I've understood from this jk's talk.

I’ve had a Krishnamurti book - “Life Ahead” since I was about 16 (stolen from my mother!) - I used to read it a lot, and was much calmer than now. I will start reading it again! He always speaks and writes so clearly and rationally. I think he’s my favourite Indian guru!

I got a little sick at 17:00. I finally understand what he really means with conditioning. I now realise why I am sort of good in finding solutions. They say he is a problem solver. But actually he is not. And then the song "a nother brick in the wall" in my head got my stomach going. I am happy that I got where i am by what Krishna says is discipline. And didn't finish my school. But without really realising your conditioned the conflict will only be there.

I lived it out truly. It did not last long because before I knew it, life was taking so much from me. I nearly lost all my possessions and my self dignity/ego. My compassion was kindness in action but to all others but not to my body's needs. I would feed others and starve myself. Selflessness has no balance. Therefore, how do we just enjoy a pacified mind without an opinion of good, bad, and worse. The existence of the art of living is found in humility. ❤

"Is it possible to meet a problem without a brain that is already conditioned to solve problems? From a brain that is conditioned to solve problems, we are always seeking solutions to problems...Now, how can the brain solve problems if it is not free from problems? It's a rather interesting question this, please let us go into this.
Our brains are conditioned to the resolution of problems, solution of problems, from childhood. And as the brain is conditioned to solve problems it is always seeking a solution. And it is not understanding the problem itself but the solution of the problem, right? Is it possible... to have a brain that is not conditioned to problems? A conditioned brain which is embedded in problems can never solve problems. Is it possible to have a brain that is not conditioned to the solution of problems but to the understanding of problems?
Isn't there a difference between the solutions of problems and the understandings of the problem?
In the understanding of the problem, the solution may lie in the problem, not away from the problem... So we are asking, can the brain, recognizing, seeing that it is conditioned to the solution of problems, from childhood, be free of it, and then face problems?"
    Will you do it?
That is the question. To be conscious, to be aware, that our brain, that we, as human beings, from the beginning of life, we are always struggling with problems and trying to find the right answer to them. The right answer can only be when we recognize that the brain is conditioned, and as long as that brain is conditioned to solving problems we will never find the right answer.
So, do I recognize that fact, not the idea but the fact? There is a difference between idea and the fact. I hear this statement, and from that statement, I draw a conclusion... and from that statement, I abstract an idea of it and then pursue the idea, not the fact that my brain is conditioned to solve problems, that's the fact, not that I should be free of this conditioning, that is not a fact. You understand?
So, the brain is conditioned and as long as that condition exists, multiplications of problems will go on, reorganization of the problems will go on...Can you and I be free of the brain that is conditioned? That is, to be aware of it and see the depth of it, the truth of it, the logic of it, the sanity, the reason of it, and not move away from that? Not find some abstract explanations. Is this all right?
I'm asking if it's all right, perhaps it's all wrong. It's not all wrong. This is a fact."

Imagine collapsing problems backward, like peeling away layers. Let’s say you’re experiencing depression, and the primary issue seems to be unemployment. If you take a step back from this problem, you might discover a deeper, more fundamental issue linked to it-perhaps feelings of inadequacy or societal pressure. By continuing to collapse each layer, you reveal how interconnected these issues are.
Eventually, this process brings you to the core of the problem itself. When you collapse this final layer, you stop dividing life into separate, fragmented problems and arrive at an undivided, unified reality. The ultimate way to collapse the problem is by observing the fact itself, before it crystallizes into an idea. This fact first appears in the body, manifesting as what we call "feelings." By observing the raw experience before it becomes a thought, you reach a deeper understanding of reality.
