You don't get more health, what you get is an absorption bonus that stacks with each phantom the host summoned. That's why gank squads drinks their own tears there.
Wait for ds3 dosnt the chain ring increase hp or Am i wrong. Also what about the spear of the church summon, dosnt that increase the ashen ones hp if he is the boss (especially when it's against a full gank squad) and with the covenants grass gem or whatever it's called?
Prisoner's chain increases vigor, but can't increase it beyond the cap, SotC only increases defence and the grass dew increases fp and defence not health.
If you were to make HP regen contest Slayer of demons is by far the strongest of these five. Seriously back then faith builds were insanely overpowered and the passive healing you could get made you straight up unkillable. Also second chance brought you back with full hit points, not just one.
If you count the alpha development of DS3, Bearer of the Curse was going to be a secret boss in the form of Oceiros, but not the Oceiros in its final version with his baby-smashingly stupid hitboxes and old man's erotic moans. During the game's early development, Gundyr's physical appearance was meant to be for Oceiros, and Oceiros' initial lore was that of Bearer of the Curse who succeeded in breaking free from the curse and established their own kingdom whereas the character Gundyr initially didn't exist in the story. This makes Oceiros' title, Consumed King a lot more sense given the initial concept of his character, but the devs didn't continue with the alpha development and instead went on to create the Oceiros we know in the final DS3 version, all while retaining the title which certainly doesn't make sense in its full form. Oceiros being initially conceived with Gundyr's physical appearance isn't the only case of character body swap and drastic rewritings throughout the game's development. Another drastic case of body swap and story rewriting comes from Aldrich and Sulyvahn in that Aldrich was meant to have Sulyvahn's appearance as the alpha development DS3's final boss and that the main menu theme we hear every time we boot up DS3 was actually the final boss theme for Aldrich, but then a lot of things happened and we got what we have now. That also explains so well as to why, unlike DS1 and DS2's menu theme, DS3's theme is more energetic and grandeur. Unlike DS2's initial development which got plenty of exposure from people like Zullie the Witch and Illusory Wall, DS3's alpha development is much more obscure with only a handful of people uncovering them. One TH-cam channel in particular, Abyss1ne, has been doing a mod project to restore DS3 to its intended alpha design in its entirety since 2021, at least based on their first video date, using a mixture of existing assets from the full game and the leftover, unfinished assets. You should check out Abyss1ne's channel to see what DS3 could've been and what the mod is going to be since they announced that the mod would be available to play in early 2024.

1:43 The "M'Lady" is the best part
I always knew Dark Souls 2 was the best game in the series
@Souvik ghorai why are you talking to me like that
@Souvik ghorai no worries, buddy, just kinda made me confused, sounded like you were talking as if in some sort of character
@Souvik ghorai yes it does 😧

Me : AND THE GUNDYR’S RING !!!
Ghali Fassi Fihri but it rasie the stat health by 5 points but since its already at 99 so cant go higher that is my thought
Technically in DS3 you could get summoned as the Spear of the Church and get more HP that way. No clue if it gets displayed in the info tab.
You don't get more health, what you get is an absorption bonus that stacks with each phantom the host summoned. That's why gank squads drinks their own tears there.
@Captain_Morgan right, but that poise kind of "activates" when using the divine spear fragments
As soon as you introduced slayer of demons I got excited.
Wait for ds3 dosnt the chain ring increase hp or Am i wrong. Also what about the spear of the church summon, dosnt that increase the ashen ones hp if he is the boss (especially when it's against a full gank squad) and with the covenants grass gem or whatever it's called?
Prisoner Chain nor Spear of the Church increase max HP
Prisoner's chain increases vigor, but can't increase it beyond the cap, SotC only increases defence and the grass dew increases fp and defence not health.
Alright thanks for clearing that up. I just assumed those things increased vigor/hp no matter what
I like how the chosen undead is just there, while the bearer and the ashen one is competing
If you were to make HP regen contest Slayer of demons is by far the strongest of these five. Seriously back then faith builds were insanely overpowered and the passive healing you could get made you straight up unkillable. Also second chance brought you back with full hit points, not just one.
Music at 2:10 please! I heard this in a Zelda Classic quest and have yet to figure out what it is
Bowser's Galaxy Generator - Super Mario Galaxy 2, now you can rest my child.
The Bearer of the Curse should be a secret boss in DS3.
@@lenatama Oceiros’ title still makes sense even in the current story. He’s been consumed by his obsession with Seath and Big Hat Logan’s research in the Grand Archives. He was also consumed by his thirst for a worthy heir, First with Lothric and then with Ocelotte.
The Grandia 2 sound effect at 6:56 gave me feels!
