The McLaren VGT (GR1) can be detuned, gears spread out a bit, running on lean FM, and shift when I hit the green. It's a nearly perfect 15 laps without a pit. It takes just over 26 min total and feels like a nice relaxing drive. The car handles great on RH tires at the slower speeds too. For grinding out money, I prefer less stress so I'm rather happy with it. The same setup also works really well for the 1 hr SPA race, though I typically use a less efficient fuel map for SPA since I'll almost always have to change to rain tires anyway.

Sauber C9, racing hards, decreased hp, there you have it! 24 minutes with 1 stop only to refill ( no tire change needed)

I use the Mazda LM55. I just run full lean. I don't think I've ever pitted with this car in solo mode.

I've been looking for the 917 in legend cars, because I think it would be stupid fun on sardegna 800pp. The 962 is a monster for it

@@Doughtinator I like to make 2 to 3 builds for the gr2/3 cars to see what I like better. There's more flexibility with them at 800pp. Do I want more power with ballast? Do I want less power and soft/medium tires? Do I try a 1stop race, or try for better lap times and do 2 stops? It makes it fun, and the grind seems less stale that way

Always nice to see alternative strategies. Lately I've been using the 787b for Sardegna. Using a two stop strategy and managing 24m4s or so.

You should not need 2 stops on Sardena with the 787. 1 stop easy with fuel on 1.
I use the SRT Tomahawk S for this race with just 1 pit stop. Tuned to 800PP.

Yes I've done the no pit strat before. I find it laughable that people think that's the fastest way to do a race. If you know the track we'll, you will finish faster with a pit then running bald tyres till the end of the race. Your video is clear evidence of that.
Yeah it’s far too compromised on tires, fuel and even hybrid with this car. It was looking good until everything died 🤣

600pp - 700pp NSX Type R 02 HR-414E engine swap warrants you a guaranteed easy no stop race at tokyo and Le mans if you run the full power restrictor. Shift at 7.9k. at Le mans, use Fuel map 3, use fuel map 1 at Tokyo.
I've just tried saving fuel in my chill build, does 50km per litre at 100km/h

Happy to help man. I haven’t done that build yet but I would start by adding ballast (maximum forwards) and then lower power restricter until you get to 700pp.
Try that and let me know if it works 👍🏻
@@Doughtinator I wasn't able to lower the PP to 700. I'm not sure there is anything else I can do to lower it.

Thanks man. The green indicator is the hybrid battery in hybrid cars. You can see it recharge on brakes and deploy when on throttle 👍🏻

Great video! I need some help with GR010 tune at Le Mans. I have endurance race at Le man with the Gr010 but need a tune! It's a no pp limit, 670 BHP, 1040 kg, 100% ecu and 0 kg ballast. If you can help that would be fantastic thanks!

ouch a two stopper? thats the gt3 you are talking about right? Spend a little more and get the bugatti vgt gr.1 nad do it in fm1 stopping at lap ten for fuel only. no reason to change tires when using mediums.
To save fuel i let go of the gas much earlyer and let it roll before a corner

Manual has a significant difference in lowering the PP

The gear changes are a bit slower with the manual.

I always do one pit for a little break, especially in France, because the timer is all that matters. I'll block AI racers and make them do 80 mph on the straights of LeMan so I don't have to do 7 laps.

Hey man. This one is good. But the Nissan R92CP Gr1 (Group C) car is the fastest I’ve tried so far. I’ve not covered the build yet but I can do 1:31 lap times. 23:57 race time with 1 stop on fuel map 1

I think PD can’t do 24h LeMans race because RFactor2 owns the rights of the race, with FIA and ACO. So no one else can do the event. We can race in the circuit but is not allowed to do “the race"

@Doughtinator essentially take the downforce off and reduce the power so it is 799pp! It's very understeer focused but optimum 1.31 lap average probs 1.33!

The lappers in this race are annoying. I could do it in 24 flat if it wasn't for them. They fight for position when they are 2 laps down.

Personally. I agree with you. But on the flip side people just want to make money as fast as possible. So finishing the race faster achieves this.

If you're stopping only one time, But have to sacrifice lap times on a large track, it will not work
You can one stop flat out. But with no stop it’s too much compromise when the hybrid dies at the end.
