Many of the tunes are broken. Here is how to fix: th-cam.com/video/MvKkcfJMmKI/w-d-xo.html
Controller player here. Your r92cp Tune is by far the absolute best controller friendly tune. When I'm focused I've been able to hit hit low 1 30s in the lap times(skill issue) but this tune in particular is so nice to play which makes it even more fun.
Awesome. Glad it working for you 👍🏻👍🏻
How do u Get the car?
@@Jerra0611 you have to get it from legend cars (limited time only, them comes back)
@@Jerra0611kinda late but you get it legend cars dealership, it is currently available but it has a limited stock so hurry up if you wanna get it
@@Jerra0611in the legend section, it went away recently (like a week or 2 ago) so you will have to wait for it to come back
787b is my favourite 800pp for sure. Very fuel efficient soft on tyres no contest
The porsche from 89 just as fun
I started building my GT7 'fortune' at Sardegna with the LM55 that I was lucky to get early, until I got brave enough to take on the rain grinds, which I love now. Lots of money to be made here. I'm stupid enough to have gotten all the cars. I use the Audi DTM at Spa and other 800's. It has great mileage since it's light and it smokes almost everyone else, and the DRS almost seems like a bit of a cheat at times.
I love the Audi. It eats the grid for lunch at Spa
The last one is Incredible. I got this in legend cars not too long ago. It also works on fugi in the rain. You can go wets and never even pit! A great job Sir. Many thanks.
Happy to help man. Glad you like it 👍🏻👍🏻
Cheers for the Pagani build! Was able to be 40 seconds ahead in front. Worked like a treat. 🙏
Nice! The Zonda R is such a fun car to drive 👍🏻👍🏻
Mate, appreciate your guides, they really helped me a lot. I also appreciate that you don't use a DD wheelbase, I think it's more relatable to 90% of users me included. I'm using your settings for my G29 and it's spot on!
CLK LM is my Favorite. So fast so smooth and so fuel efficient
I almost had it on my list. It’s a very good car 👍🏻👍🏻
Part of what I like is to build racecars from Road cars in GT7.. Fun ones for Sardegna are Ferrari F-40 with Enzo Engine swap, Paint it in liquid silver,, ..Full Build.. and the TVR Speed 6 Full build , no engine swap...a real lightweight ripper.. Both thirsty , fun drives loose drives... 2 stop cars. TVR allows Soft Tires on the last stint..Of course Mazda Spirit RX7, with Mazda GroupC Engine swap.
I love that car
I’m waiting for it to come back on sale....
I've always loved using the CLK because even on the Nurburgring 800 I can put it on fuel efficiency level four and it does the whole race in one shot
Escudo is a beast in almost every event. At Sardegna I have done countless of sub 22min 50sec runs with it 🎉
Would love your tune for this, I can't get this thing going well at all, and I want to as it was my fave GT original car!
@@gbang_34 I am using ride height 76-93, antiroll 7-1, dampers 35-37-45-47, freq 5.00-4.70, camber 0.8-1.3, zero for toes, initial 15-17, acc 30-60, braking 10-20, downforce 200-700 and high-rpm turbo. Gearing: 124-166-212-258-303-364.
P.S. Make sure you have 50:50 torque distribution. Downforce at 300-630 is worth a try - front downforce helps cornering and rear downforce helps for stability.
90's NSX GT500 is one of my favourites to use in the 800pp events, such as this. It's incredibly stable. Also, due to the difficulty being what it is in GT7, it makes the event that bit more challenging, which in turn makes it more fun. It's power to weight is inferior to the competition, but it makes up for it in the handling department, and fun to drive factor.
R92CP is my favorite 700/800 pp grind car. So good!!!
I been loving driving the zonda... I set my brake balance 2 to the rear. I feel it helps keep the car locked to the ground and tight... When I adjust it to the front it feels loose... Great video... First time watcher... New sub... About to dive into your catalog... 🎉
Welcome on board. Thanks for the sub. Yeah the Zonda is fantastic! 👍🏻👍🏻
I'm shocked that the R92CP was you quickest pick. That's been my main car for grinding while occasionally switching to the Tom's Supra or the Pennzoil GTR for fun.
Because of an surgery and now vacation, I haven’t been able to drive for almost 2 months. I’m really keen to do a few laps here again soon, with the Chaparral in VR for example.❤❤❤
Didn’t try the Zonda yet. Definitely worth a try 👍🏼
Thanks, I will certainly be trying these out. It's always nice to use cars that are close to the AI and make it an interesting way to grind. Yes, it's a little longer to do but so much more fun.
You got your wish with the GT-One lol 😂
Yes!!! Finally!! 👍🏻👍🏻
My fav car for this track is Bugatti VGT Gr.1: great top speed, great acceleration, fuel efficient and awesome grip!
Nice! I do need to try this one out 👍🏻👍🏻
@@Doughtinator You won't be disappointed. My 13yo son uses this very car to drive because another top cars 800PP are way difficult for him. :) Very pleasant to drive
Thank you so much. I was stuck on that for a long time, went with audi, got a great set up handles well
The zonda is one of my fav 800pp cars also in GT7!
Yeah the Zonda is one of my favourites 👍🏻👍🏻
Love that one. Same with enzo and porche living legend that one has a bigger tank. Wish the handling was alittle better but once you get used to it its nice
Your R92CP tune is easily the fastest for me. I'm not that skilful but I did a 24:19 with a fastest lap of 1:32.4, the next best car for Sardinia speed wise for me is Jag XJ legend car at 24:50. The Toyota GT One is the funnest but I can't match the Nissan's pace. I just bought the 787b and am gonna see what I can do with that! Love the tunes and videos too
Yeah I think the R92CP I’d still king. 787B is still good. Perhaps more fun. I have a tune for all Group C cars on my channel 👍🏻👍🏻
i had a R18 ´16 for this race and it’s just amazing
My best Sardegna time so far is a 1 30.23~ in a detuned 962 C. Hopefully will break into the 1 20s with practice.
The R92CP is the one. Give it a shot 👍🏻
I've got my escudo tuned to 800 and absolutely dominated every race in the wtc800 aside from the 1000000 credit race only because it has no lights. I can lap everyone on sardena with the escudo but used the lmt55 for the 1000000 credit race and dominated it.
Great video as always, Chris. I tried the Audi at Sardegna. Indeed, a sweet car, very forgiving of my less-than-perfect skills.
Thankyou.
Great info man. 2 things. Fisrt the GT3 Ferrari if you raise the top speed 20 mph / 30 kph you will tame the rear end and gain fuel exonomy. Second if tou haven't nerfed an F1 car for the grind you are missing out
Have a go with the Aston Martin Valkyrie. Detune the engine to PP800 with racing mediums. Can comfortably do a 1 stop and is really good for Spa 1 hour. Downforce is crazy on this car and makes it awesome in the high speeds.
Thank you so much for the 458 I got 53 second gap from 2nd place😂😂
Awesome. Glad you like it 👍🏻👍🏻
Back in the game for a month now after more than a decade (last played GT5 - 2010/11 on a G27 LOL) I must say your Ferrari 458 GR.3 build was awesome! on a PS5 Dual Edge Controller! (sadly G27 not working with PS5) Had to adjust toe angle and rear downforce a bit PLUS NEW pit/tire/fm strategy - Sardegna start on RS/FM1, overtake as much as you can then undercut & pit on 4th, put RM/FM3, close the gap, pit again on 10th RS/FM1 and voila, you'll be in 2nd and hunt down the leader (should be able to overtake him on lap 13). Also, undercut is great in Le Mans WTC800 (need to adjust FM every now and then though) This makes it realistic (and fun) and not just running overpowered hyper car, like common it's A.I., how hard can it be? LOL! You earn my follow/sub mate! Cheers!
Awesome. Welcome back to GT! I’m glad you enjoyed my Ferrari tune. I have a bunch of tunes ranging from fair to absolutely destroying the AI for various races or money making methods.
I had a G27 when I picked up GT Sport about 4 years ago. I sold it on eBay and pretty much had enough from that sale to buy a G29 which is PS5 compatible. I used that until very recently. 👍🏻
@@Doughtinator Thanks for the welcome mate haha! Whew glad I was over with shooting games (for now LOL) and back into racing! Yeah I will be checking your builds as I feel like a total beginner once again. Getting a Fanatec system soon and hopefully be good at this game once again, so wish me luck hahaha! Cheers! Thanks again!
Nissan R92CP is the undisputed champion. With a normal difficulty, I lap them twice. Single stop strategy. Easy win, so much so that it feels like cheating.
I wanted another car to try out so bought the Ferrari 458 Italia GT3. First lap, I spun out, so it takes time getting used to. It’s a decent machine, but it does not have the top speed. The rest of the laps were just fine, with a 2 stop strategy at fuel map4. I came in 2nd and made up most of the amount I paid for the car (with a clean race bonus). So if you are looking at mindless grinding, I’d recommend using the R92. This Ferrari makes it tough certainly, at a normal difficulty. But should be fine with an easy difficulty.
Will try the rest of the cars sometime this week.
It’s a beast isn’t it!!
Yeah I really like the gr3 Ferrari. Sounds superb too!
The 787B can be built on Racing Hards to complete the entire race without a pit-stop. Finished in a 23:56 ~2.5 minutes ahead of the AI.
Very true. But I think the 1 stopper is a faster race strategy 👍🏻
I use my sauber detuned to 798. So fast and stable
Agreed. Very strong car 👍🏻👍🏻
@@Doughtinator I use it for any race I can no joke lol. I need ur help ......I’ve got x3 Silvia s15 engines, what car is best for me to put it in engine swap? Thanks.
Edit.
I can’t find a car to put the s15 engine in?.....
Mazda 787B.
this is the way 🙌
I can only use my Audi r8 LMS 15’ can you do a set up for the R8 ?
I may take a look and do a tune for this 👍🏻
Skyline Super silouhette is my favorite 1 stop at Sardenga.
It’s a good one. I need to re tune my one 👍🏻
Have you done a 787b 800pp build? The new Toyota gt one build you did is really good
I’ve covered all the group C cars in this video.
th-cam.com/video/OpY-81as4NI/w-d-xo.html
@Doughtinator Awesome thank you. I'll try it now 😎👌
no Peugeot 908 ? i really like that car and how it handles on this track.
I need to put some more time into that car. Good suggestion 👍🏻
@@Doughtinator I use your 'tune' from another video and it's so nice for me. I'm at best at an intermediate level and I used it in all 950-700 PP events. Worked like a charm, I feel now more and more confident. Level 49 now because of it, tomorrow 50 :). Too bad there are no more AFK methods.... (no scripts and PS4 controllers)
I feel like my choice is a bit cheating 😅
I use a detuned Porsche 962 C for WTC 800
It’s not cheating man. Superb car. 👍🏻👍🏻
Number 1 is 787B for LP800! Thats it!
I have a tune for that. It’s my fastest race time yet.
Hello, will you be updating these after the new physics update everyone is crying on Facebook about? 😂
Absolutely. But overall. The Sardegna tunes will be slower because the new PP calculations.
I keep switching between the McLaren MP4/4, Mazda 787B and the Nissan R92CP for 800pp races. The Mazda and Nissan also work great at 700pp. The McLaren is the best for cornering.
I use the Rs5 is perfect to do Sardegna
Had you done any modification to your G29 wheel or pedals? Good video btw. I am copying your build to test it.
Man, i'm not a gamer and i make 1.30.2 with the same car... what setting are you tal King about?
Here is my new best build.
th-cam.com/video/PLhEOf0cynw/w-d-xo.html
How come I don't have the brake balance option for the Ferrari!?? 🤔😔
Great video. A like & a new subscriber. thanks.
Thanks man. I’ve got a load more tunes for various races 👍🏻
Porsche 92c still goated
It’s a very solid choice 👍🏻👍🏻
Best race time for me is 23'59"589. Fastest lap 1'32"716. With a tuned Peugeot L750R HYbrid VGT 2017. But i'm an average driver so with that build I think someone else could do better :). Don't hesitate to ask for settings
That’s interesting. I’ve not tried that car yet. I’ll check it out 👍🏻👍🏻
@@Doughtinator Keep me update if you can :). Thanks for your R92CP Build 🤩
I can't complete the world gt series championship. Race 3: On the third lap it rained, and everyone lost time and place. In other videos there is no rain for some reason. Can anyone tell me what to do, I'm playing on the easy level. There is not much money in the game, just over 1 million. If possible, and settings to win easily.
Are you really using this build for the R92cp and 1.41? Its one of the worst builds Ive tried so far. The back likes to step out when applying the throttle and very understeery through the corners, especially in the last corner. It felt slow and I still had to go to fm3 about lap ten. My fastest lap was a 135.xxx with many mistakes as I was fighting the car alot. It just felt heavy, unresponsive, and underpowered. I finished with a 25:30
the r92cp with a good tune can easily run 1.30 on sardegna
@@filesuploaded7312 in manual maybe or with a wheel. Both of which aren't options for me atm
@@MysticalDragon73 You just have to get used to it I use controller and automatic and can get 1:28.4
i use the audi dtm gr2 alot
Bugatti Veyron 16.4 ’13 is also a blast if you want to drive something different
962C is incredible for 700 to 950 pp races.
What is your Favourite WTC800 Build?
1. Mercedes Benz CLK
2. Audi RS 5
3. Lexus RCF GT 500 ( 16 )
The old gen Le mans cars as they're better on fuel economy I found. At least with the way I drive lol.
Or a very detuned red bull race car
The '92 Nissan, but there are a lot of fun builds to keep the race fresh. Your setups are waaaaay different than mine. I don't get any understeer on the Nissan, it handles perfectly. I'm going to try out a few of these tunes.
Love the DTM Audi and 1 stop
Have you a good set up for the new merc gt3 for spa and this track . Mine struggles in the corners so much
Jag xj220 from the legends
Nice. I need to try this 👍🏻
Mazda 787B should be on this
Do you own a vr headset and is there a video of it on your channel? Be brilliant if their is 😎
Afraid I don’t own PSVR2. I really want to try it but man. The headset costs more than the PS5 😳
@@Doughtinator definitely pricey at £529, I quite fancy one myself but only use a ps controller so don’t know if it would be worth while? Maybe the January sales it will be cheaper
NSX Concept GT 16'
Yeah. That works great too 👍🏻
Best 800pp car? CLK-LM 98. I can give you a good setup. Will smash all hes builds
It’s good. What’s your race time?
@@Doughtinator 1.33 but im not that good. Bet you can do better
@frogmanjump1222 still pretty solid man 👍🏻👍🏻
👍
So surprising that the Ferrari is actually the cheapest one on the list 😭
I think you forgot one of, if not the best car in the 800pp class. The Honda NSX Concept tuned to 800pp is a beast on the track, very easy to drive, great on brakes and fuel and you can do Sardegna on a no-stop with Medium tyres or a one-stop and still end up nearly 1.2minutes ahead of the pack. I’ve uploaded a couple of vids of this car if anyone cares to view. . th-cam.com/video/owtuC__dCQE/w-d-xo.html&t=
th-cam.com/video/5DSfANKyvu4/w-d-xo.html
I hate the Nissan understeer setup , a necessary evil I guess
Yeah I agree. Unfortunately the way the PP system works it is what generates the fastest lap time. Power is king at Sardegna 🔥🔥
@@Doughtinator i dial up the front downforce and dial down the power till I find a car that’s a bit more pointy , gonna win anyway, might as well drive something that’s fun , also with front grip you can find a ton of time at the last uphill S
The Audi DTM looks a lot of fun, I shall have to take for a spin, cheers for them all Chris, 😊.
I really hope that you and your missus had a lovely Christmas and that you have a joyous New Year's Eve however you decide to spend it, 🫂.
Like deployed 👍
😎🎙🏎✅️
Thanks Julian. Hope you’ve had a good Christmas break too.
Hope you have a great new year too 👍🏻👍🏻
I love the Audi RS 5. At the WTC race at Spa it eats the grid for lunch
