All excellent driver set up mistakes Giles. I know that these affect me most (ball position, ball height, shoulder tilt, and hand position)! I know better, but do I take the time to go through a quick check, probably not. Well Done Giles! Always learning and validating through your videos!
Good stuff. I also got a lesson recently where the pro pointed out to me that I reverse pivot. I'm not sure if that's a common mistake too? Since then I am allowing my head to move on the horizontal plane a little (scary at first, nearly losing sight of the ball) to stack my weight more on the trail leg a little longer during the backswing, so I can actually hit up a couple of degrees easily without having to think in the downswing, just letting the clubhead go. That tip helped me a lot. I also cut down a lot on conscious torso tilt like your setup tip, shallowed my backswing ever so slightly. As a result last 9h round hit every fairway, where I was in a bad push fade country for the last month+.
Very common backswing fault. I do have video planned in a few weeks of common backswing mistakes so stay tuned for that. Great to hear you improved from your lesson

Glad this validates your thinking. So important to nail the setup especially with driver
