initially when I watched the series I thought there was no way a BW w/ a child would be so invested in self sabotage but your review has me remembering that not only did she have zero Black friends, but I too can relate to a sort of longing for indulgent adventure. For both Louise & Rob there is a class gap informing their lust that results in devastating risk factors in their desires to achieve glamour... imo, daavid was just a cowardly wm who, although bamboozled into a marriage w/ a stranger in his wife's body (loll), chose to endanger the life of yet another woman even after the first affair ended in such trauma. greatest victim is certainly the son, Adam. made the end so much more tragic for me. really enjoy your videos!
She didn’t go out of her way to be friends with Adele. Adele went out of her way to become friends with Louise, because she wanted to have insight into Louise’s life and relationship with David. 2:20

@@grlegrl he literally did though , that would of been the right thing to do, also he never murdered, just help cover it up so why not just confess 🤷🏾♀️
I realized it wasnt adele in the body when I saw how adele explained it to rob and how he looked at David in the kitchen I was like please tell me its not him and it was him so I was like.... L is nosey David is a victim.
For someone who has watched you explained the show pretty well, I was impressed, I dont if i could explain that show and make sense like you just did 😅
I'm freaked out still too (finished it 4 days ago)and had a nightmare the other night that someone was trying to astral project into my mind!Brilliant series though!
I half assed watch this, and thought Rob was in love with Adele, and thought it was about a toxic couple playing with boundaries. You’re making me want to rewatch it now. Have you done You or Dead to Me yet? If not, please do! I would love to hear your thoughts.
All the flashbacks are Robs, you don't see Adele once without Rob. There is a teen book somewhat similar to this called Stranger with my Face by Lois Duncan
Questions i have- Rob (in his own body) had Scottish accent.. so when he possessed adeles body," Adele" should have his original accent (unless he was faking it really well) Also, Rob is left handed, so when he became Adele, it is clearly shown that she is writing with right hand. Maybe it's because their "brains" didn't swap, only the souls did. Because which hemisphere of your brain is dominant is what determines which is your dominant hand... Also, if the brains aren't swapped (obviously, there was no freaking brain transplant) the memories "Adele" Rob had should be Adele's original memories only (the fire incident etc) but it is clearly shown that "Adele" Rob has his original memories (because he mentioned that he had night terrors among other clues). Only the soul was changed.
Louise in the book is white, but tv script writers did not change anything about her, so thats the deal. In the mini series she is a black woman with a white woman inside her, oh the irony lol. Anyway look, I'm gonna say here everyone is saying how black women mind their own business and aren't nosey like white women ... but umm no. We're just as nosey and we always know more what's going on, if not more. It's just that we would NOT go out our way to help a messy white woman, it's too risky and always backfires. So yeah. We are just as nosey or as I say more informed, but we more smart about it.
So I realised that rob was portrays as the good guy or the victim throughout the first half of the show because the story was being told through the journal and he’s the one who wrote the journal…
No cuz I just finished this show cuz I started it over a month ago and was not invested but then I saw you had a video on it so I decided to finish. I just finished a few minutes ago and now I never want to sleep again🥲
But such a mind f movie. At ending Rob took over Louise body and so he won the game. And Adele was technically never even in the movie except as flashback. And ++ point why didn't anyone tell David about the astral thing? Like include him as a kinky thing or he was a psychiatrist, so tell him. Rob will go after little Adam next. I want a sequel so bad.
Thank you for this review. Honestly it's how I feel. You should read the book if you haven't, so much better and easier to put things together...must be read slowly lol. I keep seeing negative reviews about this book/story and glad to find someone with similar view, I think both show/book were brilliant.
First of all what's the reason that makes David loss interest in Adele(Rob). The changes in her?!! Then even Louise(Rob) will meet the same fate and that would be ideal for season two plot.
What struck me was when Louise said "they are both better with me in their lives". It struck me as someone who wanted to be needed. Perhaps its just me, but why would you become fast "friends" with your boss' wife?

Yes! Adele(rob) was grooming Louise the whole time. Adele(rob) knew that he time with Adam was coming to an end cause he did not "love" rob, he love Adele in the first place so he needed to stay in connection no matter what to keep the "rich lifestyle " no matter where Adam goes. IM SO GLADDDDD YOU WATCHED THIS SHOW!!! I just finished taking finals for the day and I screamed so loud when I saw this in my subscription tab 🥰
Congrats on finishing your finals. I finished my last one last week☺️‼️
Pleeaasseee do Insatiable next🙏 Loved this video ... Definitely gonna check out this show❣
you're such a gem i'm so glad i found you 💗
The biggest victim in the series is actually little Adam. 😔😔
Goddamn the twists in this show were insane
The biggest victim was her son for me💔
Like what did he do to deserve this ?!?!
initially when I watched the series I thought there was no way a BW w/ a child would be so invested in self sabotage but your review has me remembering that not only did she have zero Black friends, but I too can relate to a sort of longing for indulgent adventure. For both Louise & Rob there is a class gap informing their lust that results in devastating risk factors in their desires to achieve glamour...
imo, daavid was just a cowardly wm who, although bamboozled into a marriage w/ a stranger in his wife's body (loll), chose to endanger the life of yet another woman even after the first affair ended in such trauma. greatest victim is certainly the son, Adam. made the end so much more tragic for me.
really enjoy your videos!
i've become addicted to your videos,THEY ARE SO GOOD-
I thought I was the only one who watched this show, you’re the first person I know who watched it. This was a great review!
She didn’t go out of her way to be friends with Adele. Adele went out of her way to become friends with Louise, because she wanted to have insight into Louise’s life and relationship with David. 2:20
I still blame David for enabling Adele super attached behavior, who just lets someone obsessed over you like this, but Louis is definitely not a victim, completely, the biggest victims that poor baby in the car 🚗
He didn’t really have a choice unless he wanted to risk going to jail.
@@grlegrl he literally did though , that would of been the right thing to do, also he never murdered, just help cover it up so why not just confess 🤷🏾♀️
Right, why Louise with her dumb tail even tell Adele that he was going to the police🙄🤦🏽♀️
if y’all think this is a slow burn y’all have the worst attention spans ever ITS SIX EPISODES and it’s jammed packed with details
Yayy I’ve been waiting for this one
I realized it wasnt adele in the body when I saw how adele explained it to rob and how he looked at David in the kitchen I was like please tell me its not him and it was him so I was like....
L is nosey
David is a victim.
For someone who has watched you explained the show pretty well, I was impressed, I dont if i could explain that show and make sense like you just did 😅
Adam is the biggest victim... Love your commentary
Questions i have-
Rob (in his own body) had Scottish accent.. so when he possessed adeles body," Adele" should have his original accent (unless he was faking it really well)
Also, Rob is left handed, so when he became Adele, it is clearly shown that she is writing with right hand.
Ooooohhhh my Goooood💀 I only watched the first episode but your summary had me like😵, I should go back and finish this
So I realised that rob was portrays as the good guy or the victim throughout the first half of the show because the story was being told through the journal and he’s the one who wrote the journal…
This show made worry for celebrities who show us the inside of their homes on AD
I’d have to say Adele was the biggest victim. She did end up down a well after all.
At first I was confused but when I finished watching ep6 I was beyond shocked
You might want to watch who killed Sara it's a really good crime show
Pleeeeeeease
I feel original Adele should get the biggest victim award
The least convincing thing in the whole show was that Rob could just carelessly whip out black hairdos.
This is M. Night Shyamalan meets Steven King
I just finished watching it, like my brain is messed up!!!!
This show done fucc me up. And I loved it!
I paused the video and watched the whole series. I hated that ending!! No, the man will never be free and the kid!!AHHHH!
Yeah that roof camera angle was weird until you figure it out.
"Why are you getting involved in white people's business????" The BEST question
You forgot about Adam
i really did homeboy deserved better
No cuz I just finished this show cuz I started it over a month ago and was not invested but then I saw you had a video on it so I decided to finish. I just finished a few minutes ago and now I never want to sleep again🥲
Louise TRIED to tell him about it before he left for Scotland(?) but he cut her off 😭 and then she died
Been waiting for this one 😭🤞🏾
Been waiting for this 🕺🏾
Am I the only one who watches these videos to get new shoes to watch? Lol love it
But such a mind f movie.
The show is so fudging Psychological and nice the plot is twisting 🔥🔥
Thank you for this review. Honestly it's how I feel. You should read the book if you haven't, so much better and easier to put things together...must be read slowly lol. I keep seeing negative reviews about this book/story and glad to find someone with similar view, I think both show/book were brilliant.
Her pink aura was gone!! Because it wasn’t her 😢
This show messed with my head 😂😂
This is so much mind fkery
First of all what's the reason that makes David loss interest in Adele(Rob). The changes in her?!! Then even Louise(Rob) will meet the same fate and that would be ideal for season two plot.
This whole show is a crazy depiction of how the people you date and fall in love with is the same aura(personality type) different person 🤦🏾♀️
I really loved this show don't know why.
What struck me was when Louise said "they are both better with me in their lives". It struck me as someone who wanted to be needed. Perhaps its just me, but why would you become fast "friends" with your boss' wife?
Ok imma have to come back to this video after I watch the show. I’ve been eyeing it but haven’t actually gotten around to just watching it. Now I will!! Lol be back in a few days 🥴
You should watch “the innocent”
Your British/Australian accent 😂😂😂🙌
I really can't get pass rob personality from past. He was my fav from the start tho by the end I felt dumbfounded. I don't feel much pity for real Adele becoz her personality never showed much but I really felt bad for Adam and David. And even Louise a Lil. an entertaining show after so long .lol
why does Rugency always look sleepy?😭😭
im always sleep deprived
New subscriber love ur channel !!
In the book rob said that i have to wait for month to kill adam and gain sympathy from david 😢
I was wondering y David never tells adele he loves her
loved the movie and was NOT expecting that ending but felt like it just switched genres in the last 10 minutes - I thought she was going to wake up from a dream but that was the reality... which is kind of cheating
Yes! Adele(rob) was grooming Louise the whole time. Adele(rob) knew that he time with Adam was coming to an end cause he did not "love" rob, he love Adele in the first place so he needed to stay in connection no matter what to keep the "rich lifestyle " no matter where Adam goes. He had Adam in a literal chock hold 😅
