Great build summary as always! I watch your build guides even if the particular build doesn't fit my style because I always learn some new use of a mechanic.
Great build. Probably my favorite you've ever posted. For anyone playing this as a ZOOMER mapper only: Drop the Enduring Composure small cluster and put in a rare jewel. You can drop the totem setup entirely too and go for utility (sand stance for 100% challenger charge uptime in maps, cwdt or guard, whatever). And obviously Mageblood if you have the $$$, but it's an expensive build so yeah, use it if you can. Call to Arms, Lethe Shade, Iron Grip, Magebane would be the useful Keystones to replace Point Blank.
Regarding endurance charge generation: In case you are mapping, you can use The Red Dream in combination with Fire Res or All Res Tattoos. This way you avoid damaging yourself and also save 2 passive points. You could then also exchange one Anointment with Whispers of Doom and exchange Forbidden Rite with Elemental Weakness for big damage increase.
Maybe I missed it, but I don't see where you explain one of the most important pieces of information. Where you get each +1 Frenzy Charge from? (I was only able to count a total of +8 Frenzy Charges, but in your video you had 13?)
Regarding the Aura's in the boots, if you place the same aura ( or any skill gems) into the same socket location on ralakesh (gems can be any level) aura's will not disable when you swap
Love the idea for the build and had some suggestions/questions. 1) Why dont you use lethal pride with endurance charge on kill? this would save you an annoint and you would no longer need the forbidden rite gem setup or the enduring composure setup. price checked these they are 1 divine or cheaper. 2) If you remove the forbidden rite setup you can then add a guard skill onto the CoC setup for auto casting (can also add beserke there for auto casting) 3) Your armor and evasion mastery seems to do nothing, youre still 95% evasion without it was there a reason for it? 4) any reason youre still helping alira instead of getting +2 skill points? youre only getting 25% crit multi and 15% resists made a lot of other changes for fun but nothing overly impactful after those 4. Would love to know the thought process on these
1) the annoint is 104% inc dmg, we wouldn't cut it regardless. 2) I explained why I use FR, if you're just mapping go for it 3) Only 95% if enemies are blinded, don't like relying on blind 4) I don't get the question, those are worth 2 points in my current version, no other reason
10:08 - Guard skill: I don't know if somebody told that in comments before me - you can maybe use immortal call? It will consume endurance charges, but gives you damage reduction with very long duration, it should work with forbidden rite.
@@Palsteron Why not just use steelskin regardless? Enduring Composure will generate charges regardless of whether the hit did damage or not (not that it wouldn't either way, since steelskin doesn't block 100%). To me it seems like an upside more than a downside that steelskin and forbidden rite will always pop at the same time since it just means steelskin will never be wasted, it'll always block damage. The fact that it's your own damage doesn't make it not damage; if I was playing a build that took 40% of my life as a mandatory hit every 3-4 seconds I'd love to mitigate that so I don't open myself to getting killed just because I got hit right as it triggered.

@@PalsteronWould love to see a low budget or pre-final version. I've seen videos from other TH-camrs for example Omni builds, where they have a non-crit, then crit and then omni version of a build. Would love to see something like that.❤
You may want to point that if you craft the quiver with essence of scorn it's approximately 1/150 chance and with the current prices it's ~15 div, essence of scorn crit multi has no "attack" tag so cannot roll attack mods craft is only saving additional arrows, you can always have %33 chance to lose crit multi aswell
I spent 40 divines on essences and bricked it everytime. Everytime I anulled it i lost the arrow or crit multi. Getting life multi and arrow was getting to expensive so i ended up just settling with life and crit multi to use my remaining divines else where in the build. 200 divines later and im out of currency now lol.
@@JJ-js3sw Well the thing with fractured mods is since you can't imprint the item the process is painful as you experienced. But still the best method for me was this (time consuming): 1. Get the fractured base 2. Alter spam till hit +1 arrows 3. Regal and try to annul 3rd mod with %50 chance 4. Lock suffixes and aug crit for 1/13 T1 crit multi chance 5. It's done, craft cannot roll attack mods and spam exalt annul till get T1 Life & T1 Dmg with bow skills It's pretty straight forward craft but has awful RNG unfortunately and this time of the league it's not worth the craft cause how expensive Blue juices are right now but i suggest you to try this method next league, you may also try for reforge crit instead of aug crit to save currency but you have to hit the annul again if your bow gets filled or there's an "attack" tag mod on it. Hope it helps.
As a brand new player to PoE and just got into doing maps, only up to level 2 as an RF. Tons of fun so far. It appears that PoE is all about how to build some very crazy builds and how powerful and tricky can they be made?
Poe is all about doing whatever you want. Wacky builds, endless currency farming, min-max builds, crafting simulator, Wall street simulator, bossing, mapping, etc. There's no right way to play it, although if you want to do top end builds you're going to need to farm the currency first (plenty of different ways to do so).
4:07 doesn't the node need to say "Increased damage per Endurance, Frenzy AND Power Charge" instead of "or Power Charge"? Does it actually count all charges or just the highest number of one type?
So I managed to get this build together with the same gear as you minus the carnage heart. But holy shit it feels worse than any other build I've played that you've put together. it's just terrible that there is 0 elemental avoidance and that kills me in nearly every map. For such an expensive build I can't understand how something so basic wasn't taken into consideration.
Love your builds pal! How important is the Kaom's Spirit/berserk for the build? is it shit without it? I like charge consistency , so whats your thoughts in using replica Farrul's Fur?

Why should defense be an issue will 95% Evasion, Spell Suppression and a lot of Physical Damage Mitigation? Is is not super tanky, but also not squishy.
I'm working on a frenzy stacking slayer in ssf too, genuinely my only problem is that I'll obviously never get a stranglegrasp and I'm not about to start farming hundreds of blight ravaged maps for it..... What else could I really replace it with (outside of obvious good stuff like yoke)? Even if it's something super hard to craft I can still manage, but stranglegrasp I will never have
should try the amulet that makes max frenzy = max power and stack power charges, im curious to see if that makes all charges = to power charges. would solve the crit issue
Awsome build. I really love it. Do you have plans on crafting a mirror worthy quiver for that one? I tried a lot of horror essences on a cold per frenzy implicit quiver but ended with just a semi good one, seems nearly impossible to craft or i miss something
You could put a "TRigger socketed spells when focused" suffix on the helmet, put Immortal Call + Berserker + Enhanced + Bloodrage in the helmet slot and have focus on left click to move around. Herald+Grade+Enhance and Flame Dash goes in the Gloves slot. Immortal Call would not block you from taking damage but it would significantly reduce any incoming damage. You would consume 5 endurance charges. But with Superier QUality and Enhanced linked anyway, it might have enough duration that it wont trigger as often. You lose up to 5 charges and not all of the endurance charges. Maybe the duration + cooldown is long enough that the time where you are on 8 Endurance charges instead of 13 is less enough to not feel bad.
This build is really well made. I've made a 1 mirror budget version of this (so slightly worse ring and no bricked stranglegasp but with Mageblood for easier gearing). It feels amazing to play. 550% movespeed and enough damage to one shot everything is amazing. I can definitely see pouring 3-4 mirrors into this if I had swapped earlier in league, there's so much potential here. I decided to try Iron reflexes for phys mitigation, since the build has great recovery and you can get a lot of armor with a Mageblood, but I do wonder if evasion is just better to deal with phys as extra ele mods and to make the charge stealing mods less obnoxious. Did you consider Iron Reflexes at any point?
Since you min maxed this build... why not instead of mana forge forbidden rite setup doing the instant warcry keystone with tattoos and running enduring cry for endurance charge up time as well as higher berserk uptime, would also give back a passive point for different allocation
Have you though about using a caspiro elegant hubris to free some affixes, also allowing you to change your carnage heart to another amulet without the issue of needed the all stats?
its a blight unique amulet called stranglegasp, that allows 4 annointments. then you vaal orb it to turn it from unique to rare. then try to reroll it with tainted chaos orb which can make it go white. if that happens then you can tainted mythic orb it to make it unique again and the most common option for that is carnage heart.
Kind of makes me want to play Glacial Hammer trauma slayer, currently doing it on jugg, but the endurance charge stacking and overleech seems crazy nice. Combined with the max leech tattoo and warriors tale you would have insane sustain
How do you think this build will be next league when tattoos are not available, less move speed and projectiles, still worth doing? I was thinking about it as one of my main builds for 3.23

the build is nice, but it is still a mapping build, now can you get all those MF gear and still keep the frenzy charges up? deadeye TS build can pretty much works with any combination of gear.
How about Leaguestarting this as Elemental Hit? I am pretty sure, there are Slayer Bow builds with the same kind of charge stacking interaction that are viable for starting fresh.

Question is, can this build be made as a league starter with sligly different gear and work towards this type of result. (the quiver alone is 35-40 div with the fracture currently on trade). Perhaps a dex quiver with cold dmg to dex? The leech from slayer + regular carnage heart seem like a decent combo.
i dont get power charges on hit...:( did the same setup as you, but dont get them. Has this smth to do with -mana crafts on the rings? My TS costs 0 mana. Basicly i proc no gem in the chest, very wierd
Yup, definitely look into how manaforged arrows works but tldr: It gets triggered after you spend a certain amount of mana ^^ So get rid of that -mana cost and you should be alright
get a hunter belt with t1 life t1 % life and a open prefix craft prefixes cant be changed and harvest reforge crit and it gives gain a flask charge on crit strike
No, that makes max frenzy equal to max power charge. So he'd need to stack power charges instead and the +1 max frenzies he has stacked would mean nothing. If he equipped it right now it would reduce his max frenzies to 3, since that is what his max power charges is.
@@TheRunner3D some people do use this combo and stack max power charges, but you have to travel far on the tree. Mostly used for discharge builds with serious power charge stacking so you end up with like 36 total charges and Ralakesh boots for charge generation
The way of crating the quiver that you mention doesn't work like you say it will. When using crit multi essence it doesn't have a attack tag and therefore you could annul off the crit multi when doing the craft
@TheAllGamePlayer except you can still annul the cannot roll attack mods, leaving the possibility of exceeding 3div fairly easily. The cannot roll attack thing was only ever for blocking mods for the slam nothing else. So yes you're correct in the assumption that 'cannot roll attack mods' +annul doesnt work. Because it doesn't and thats not what he did.
Just saw the comment btw. Just realised that you can't craft suffixes can't be changed since your prefixes are full and even if you went for the perfect roll on 1 of the stats you would still have to yolo on the last stat and then having the chance of the roll being shit and having to annul where there is a chance to annul the crit multi making you have to essence spam it again which is not cheap.
Cool build. I like the self hitting tech with forbidden right. But I am so bored with Kaom's Spirit and or Heatshiver. I know it is the best numbers feels really stale and boring personally. Hoping that GGG make crazy changes to make the glove meta a bit more interesting.
@@hermanleroux9720I put it together for about 150 divines but I also sniped some key items for cheap right after Palsteron posted the video. Could definitely be done for between like 150-200 divines I’d say though.
Idk how I used to have rage on my TS build and now its gone. Using Subtracms latest showcase one, I had them then they were gone. No idea what skill was giving them either.

18:58 as someone who plays slayer basically every league, youve just described my biggest struggle with this class lmao. Every league I try to figure out a way to not have to use brutal fervour so I can allocate Headsman. My go-to used to be immortal ambition, but it sucks ass now, so I'm trying out petrified blood now... it's definitely not as nice, lol.
I put a version together that has 12 endurance/frenzy charges and a 2 mod watchers eye for about 150-175 divines. Can’t remember the exact amount but it’s definitely doable with that sort of a budget. Anything less than 150 I think you’d be making too many sacrifices.

genius build! one question though, how does ensnaring arrow work with fork? it's implied from the wiki it will only work after all pierce/chain/fork

How do you allocate the frenzy charge tattoo then unallocated the path to it? Sorry fairly new player
you spec there and then take the dex node. Apply the tattoo. Then unspec!

I'd probably use anomalous temporal rift on the last socket, its qol against TC maps and provides some cdr for berserk and flame dash

How are you using Arena Challenger? You are not running/can't run Flesh and Stone.
Arena Challenger is using Blood Stance by Default if you don't run Blood and Sand and/or Flesh and Stone.

the build is nice, but it is still a mapping build, now can you get all those MF gear and still keep the frenzy charges up? deadeye TS build can pretty much works with any combination of gear.
How about Leaguestarting this as Elemental Hit? I am pretty sure, there are Slayer Bow builds with the same kind of charge stacking interaction that are viable for starting fresh.

Question is, can this build be made as a league starter with sligly different gear and work towards this type of result. (the quiver alone is 35-40 div with the fracture currently on trade). Perhaps a dex quiver with cold dmg to dex? The leech from slayer + regular carnage heart seem like a decent combo.

You can run the corrupting fever champion as a league starter. There's a guide on maxroll. Then respect to Slayer when ready
If Widowhail is at 250% that triples the quiver? It rounds up?
i dont get power charges on hit...:( did the same setup as you, but dont get them. Has this smth to do with -mana crafts on the rings? My TS costs 0 mana. Basicly i proc no gem in the chest, very wierd
Yup, definitely look into how manaforged arrows works but tldr: It gets triggered after you spend a certain amount of mana ^^ So get rid of that -mana cost and you should be alright

the annoint is only end. charge on kill as opposed to getting them even in bossfights through enduring composure + forbidden rite

get a hunter belt with t1 life t1 % life and a open prefix craft prefixes cant be changed and harvest reforge crit and it gives gain a flask charge on crit strike

No, that makes max frenzy equal to max power charge. So he'd need to stack power charges instead and the +1 max frenzies he has stacked would mean nothing. If he equipped it right now it would reduce his max frenzies to 3, since that is what his max power charges is.

@@TheRunner3D some people do use this combo and stack max power charges, but you have to travel far on the tree. Mostly used for discharge builds with serious power charge stacking so you end up with like 36 total charges and Ralakesh boots for charge generation

The way of crating the quiver that you mention doesn't work like you say it will. When using crit multi essence it doesn't have a attack tag and therefore you could annul off the crit multi when doing the craft
Suffixes cant be changed + scour. The cannot roll attack mods thing is to force a good prefix, not to set up an annul.
That is true but makes the craft cost 3 divines instead of the 1 it would normally cost if you hit low tier damage with bows and life@@xcannibalrabbit
@TheAllGamePlayer except you can still annul the cannot roll attack mods, leaving the possibility of exceeding 3div fairly easily. The cannot roll attack thing was only ever for blocking mods for the slam nothing else. So yes you're correct in the assumption that 'cannot roll attack mods' +annul doesnt work. Because it doesn't and thats not what he did.
Just saw the comment btw. Just realised that you can't craft suffixes can't be changed since your prefixes are full and even if you went for the perfect roll on 1 of the stats you would still have to yolo on the last stat and then having the chance of the roll being shit and having to annul where there is a chance to annul the crit multi making you have to essence spam it again which is not cheap.

Cool build. I like the self hitting tech with forbidden right. But I am so bored with Kaom's Spirit and or Heatshiver. I know it is the best numbers feels really stale and boring personally. Hoping that GGG make crazy changes to make the glove meta a bit more interesting.

Yes it can. I ran a 100% deli t16 today after I put the build together and it handled it just fine

Idk how I used to have rage on my TS build and now its gone. Using Subtracms latest showcase one, I had them then they were gone. No idea what skill was giving them either.

18:58 as someone who plays slayer basically every league, youve just described my biggest struggle with this class lmao. Every league I try to figure out a way to not have to use brutal fervour so I can allocate Headsman. My go-to used to be immortal ambition, but it sucks ass now, so I'm trying out petrified blood now... it's definitely not as nice, lol.

I put a version together that has 12 endurance/frenzy charges and a 2 mod watchers eye for about 150-175 divines. Can’t remember the exact amount but it’s definitely doable with that sort of a budget. Anything less than 150 I think you’d be making too many sacrifices.

How was this nerfed?
Kaom gloves. Instead of 1 rage per 100 life regen you gain 1 rage every 300 life regen. Basically nerfing berserk uptime and so on.
