Hey Kevin, love your stuff and your installation videos are helpful. When you install short shifters and stuff can you include a quick test drive with the part installed? I went for the billetworkz shortshifter after seeing a video and was surprised about the rattles! Seems like a common problem now.
@@KevinVo yah I'm in communication with them... I waited for months till they what appeared to be fixes like the additional o-ring. Maybe I didn't wait long enough. Still trying to figure it out. It seems like a common problem that the community is still trying to figure out.
@@KevinVo I've heard that the fix isn't working either. Apparently, it's a fundamental design flaw and also is present in the stock shifter, just not as noticeably. ¯\_ (ツ)_/¯
Great video. I'm enjoying the videos, cant really say what I would like to see next. I'm still catching up on the past vidoes. My billetworkz short shifter came in on Monday, will be installing it this weeking.
I LOVE my IRP Shifter in my NB Miata (install video and review video on my channel). It’s seriously one of the best mods I’ve ever done to the car. Quite a bit easier to install in a Miata too. When I get my GR86 I definitely plan to install one. Although I’d be curious how the throw compares to the factory short throw kit? I know the IRP will feel/sound more mechanical, just curious about the throw distance.
gawd i love my IRP, really think you're the reason I bought mine back when you was with FT ya know. Loving the content man, keep killing it! Also can anyone join the GridLife circuit?
I Love my IRP so satisfying to shift. I Waiting to see how you were going to do it without jacking up the car. I know your hands are small but not that small 😅
@0:46 I'm sure the best weight savings was when you didnt have to carry FTSpeed on your back anymore 😉
Best comment!
God that shifter sounds satisfying
Just gotta note love all your camera positions, makes it really really wet to see what’s going on/what you’re working on in the car. Great content man
Always appreciate the support!
I would love to see how you will corner balance the FRS.

Have you contacted billetworkz about it? I though they had a fix.

@@KevinVo They put additional o ring on the bottom of the shifter but it didn’t help.
Got that shifter on my built supercharged brz I love it
Got it on my frs. Really want one for the gr86 too! It’s so mechanical and short.

Nope, no baffle!
Happy to help!
Are you selling your billetworkz short shifter?
Yup! Message me on ig if interested.
@@KevinVo No IG for me 😢 can I email you?
@@vanessa_brz yeah just email info@driven.media
Is this a great short shifter? Yes!
Is there one better?
If you want to spend $1000.
YES!
Baller status!
Which one?

youre a terrible at procrastinator? as in, you are bad at procrastinating?
jokes brother, enjoyed the vid very much, keep up the good work 👍🏻
I'm a terrible procrastinator is what I think said 😅 thanks for watching!!
Dont put one on if you have a DSS driveshaft...
Ah yes, I heard there were some compatibility issues there.
I've had both and the CAE is a far better shifter that does NOT rattle!
No, the CAE Ultra is much nicer. Very expensive though.
Too expensive 😪
@@KevinVo But it doesn't rattle.
@@thegroundhurts just have to have a car that's so loud you can't hear it 🤣
@@KevinVo I like my neighbors more then that.
long needle nose pliers, bro
I have those, they're called my fingers! haha
