    Tip for grips: Use lock on grips (i use emig) bit more money but they last 3 times longer

    • @aaronfixit8192
      @aaronfixit8192 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Lock on grips are great but for me at least the emigs wheel hard and harsh so I'm using some odi half waffle that don't last full season but they're relatively cheap and are soft to hold

    • @JayDeeFrm7400
      @JayDeeFrm7400 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@aaronfixit8192 odi mx V2 no waffle lockon’s are the only grips I’ve used since like 2014 lol no blisters and so thin it it’s like gripping the bars just one step closer of being one with the bike imo💯

    The thing about the spray paint for the grip. I recommend simply using normal grip glue and to remove use acetone. Acetone or nail polish remover will easily dissolve glue. Careful, acetone also dissolves plastic but at a slower rate.

    nice one mate, some good tips in there. love the clear paint for the grips. i used to use hair spray which can take ages to dry. these days i use lock-on grips. mtb lock-on grips work great on the non throttle side and are much cheaper than buying a new set of motorbike grips if you dont need a new throttle grip. plus you end up with a spare :D

    I hadn't seen that type of fork seal cleaning tool before.... great that you can clip it to the bike.. always there. I'm ordering one now. 👍
    Heres a tip: I liked your lever idea. Another great way to avoid having a spoiled day if you snap a lever.... is.. get a small ring spanner from your tool belt and cable tie it to the remains of your lever with ring end sticking outwards. Finish off by wrapping some tape around it. Makes a perfect lever to finish that ride. 🙂👍

    great tips but i cant really carry alot of stuff with me im 14 and when i go for a long ride or to one of my buddies house to ride with him (i do alot) i ride my dirt bike there so i have to carry all my parts in a backpack and i carry : sockets, wrenchs, zipties, wd-40, a plastic waterbottle full of oil , 3 water bottles, a lighter, a short chain, tow hooks, tow links, reflective tape, duck tape, and much more in a nike backpack but i cant fit a tube because i'd have to fold it in a way it would damage the tube itself. also do oyu have enough extra levers XD

    the bag on the air filter seems like it would stop the air filter from doing its job no?
    Filters are made to get dirty instead of more important parts. Otherwise they would put an air block, maybe made out of a walmart bag. Js.
