I know a lot of people hate light leaks but mannnnnnnnnnn it only adds to the absolute timelessness of your photos. I love the way you always manage to transport us back in time. Hope you and your team keep going up!
Thanks so much. Had to make the most out of what I was given haha
I love the light leaks!
This video is a masterpiece! Love this vibe!
Thanks a lot!
I thought KEH was a sham this whole time because TH-camrs always advertise it, but I just sold my sony a7siii there and a couple lenses for $4000. B&H lowballed me with $1800, but keh actually came in clutch and paid more than I expected. Now I finally purchased an actual photography camera with the fujifilm xt-5. Highly recommend KEH! beautiful images as always btw lol
Thanks so much Mark! You're absolutely right. KEH is the truth.
The photo at 0:58 is everything. Love the light leaks as well🙌🏾
Thank you.
honestly hate the inconsistency but then you deliver great work every time so it's hard to complain
I know i know. It will get better, i promise.
Great storytelling cinematic video. Photos are TOP NOTCH!
Thanks a ton!
This was dope bro! 🫡
I really appreciate it brother.
Happy birthday Mike 🎉🎉🎉 Awesome video as always, keep em coming man
Thanks! Will do! 🙏🏾
Great content my dude. Those portraits were amazing!
I appreciate it Andy!
You are quickly becoming one of my favorite creators on TH-cam. Love the work. Film is a big passion of mine, though I have been shooting almost exclusively digital lately, you are striking that passion in me again good sir. Sorry about the 6x7 but honestly, the way you killing it, it seems like it's only going to be a bump in the road for you.
I’m so happy to hear that. Thank you so much!
Great work. Shame about the light leaks - equipment failures are always rough, but the photos are wonderful, and so is the video.
I appreciate you James.
Beautiful photos Mike. Well done.
Thank you.
Man top tier content! Beautiful even with light leaks! The convo at the end was awesome lol
Appreciate it!! Haha
your work has been amazing as always! Words cannot describe how good
Thank you so much
Mannnnn you did it again Mike! This is soo damn good! Well done brother! Beautiful images and beautiful video!
Also Atlanta was a time man! Super dope to connect with you!

Ayyy Mike sorry I missed your birthday ! I'm a little late especially with time delay in France here but hope you had a great birthday man ! You're a huge inspiration for me, take care dude
All good bro. I appreciate you watching! 🙏🏾
Mike....EXCELLENT!! DAMN MIKE....EXCELLENT!!! This video was off the hook. Mike, keep going; and Happy Born Day to you dawg.
Thanks so much David!
HOLY SHIT. Them opening shots and monologue. DAMN!
Thanks a lot!
Happy Birthday brotha! Love the results of the shoot! 🔥🔥🔥🔥
Thank you bro!
Amazing work Mike. Love your videos
Awesome, thank you!
I've used Portra 800 for shoots in a theater. Since I'm familiar with it, I'd likely choose it again. I have used CineStill for night shooting and had good experience with it. I hope your Pentax comes back like new!
this is just too good. love it. the photos are wild.
Thank you so much!
Holly, this is awesome🎉! Very inspiring! Thanks!
Thank you!
The work you put into these videos never go unnoticed man! You really have to make your way to New York for a meet up at some point!
I appreciate it bro. I’ll be in NYC this week 🙏🏾
Happy belated birthday Mike! 🎂

Thanks Adam!
Superb photos as always. Sorry to hear about the pentax, cools its in for CLA though. Light leak results still awesome

Your work is incredible, the shoot was well executed magic
Thanks so much bro!
Wow this is amazing!
thank you.
Great storytelling!
And I’m sorry for your Pentax
Thank you!
Salute to all the work you put into these man. And ima go with Portra personally bc i only like the Halation for SOME Stylistic joints, BUT for this on a more grounded shoot, Portra is for me.
Also Happy Early BDAY G.
Indeed!
Thanks a lot
That title scared me haha the light leaks came out fire though 💪🏻Definitely my biggest fear with mine haha.
Great video as always 🔥🔥🔥
Haha yea hopefully the issue gets resolved ASAP!
Thanks Zeek!
"Imma knock that lisp outta yo mouth."
"Mmm--hard to dhthuu."

Happy birthday 🎉
Thank you!
That's the way of the film cameras😄 Fire shots though!🔥
Indeed!
Mine camera also is broken, but it's dead for sure. Hope yours is easier to fix, because You take spectacular photos with it!
Thank you! I think it will be okay.
Brooo i just saw you on snowfall?! Congrats!! I didnt know at all
Thanks bro!
some light leaks be looking good
True
Red light leaks would suggest they came from the film door. Blue / white leaks tend to be on the front side of film. Hope it is something as simple as changing the seals.
It’s all good now 🙏🏾
@@MikeGrayFilm Awesome, so was it the seals or what?
My Pentax is destroyed too😢 I’m so sad. The focus on the film doesn’t add up with the one from the viewfinder anymore…..
I am determined to save her haha
I love Pentax and have been using their spotmatic II for over a year now.
Nice!
goooooood
Light leaks on fleek 😢
Light leaks going HAM.
Just a quick note on cinestill....I've shot about 10 rolls of it and I'd say 6 of the 10 have had leaks. Brand new camera and it's never happened to me on my camera on any other film stock. Searched through the forums and apparently it's quite a big issue. Maybe it's not the camera? hoping it isn't and it's just the film. that would be my guess.
I hope it isn’t?
Good job Mike. I’ve never seen it done this way. You may have done it.
Thanks
The light leaks were the 800T. Its quite common due to mishandling when repackaging
That makes sense
Happy birthday
Thanks a lot!
@@MikeGrayFilm I hope you get your camera back soon.

great fight shots, and YEAH!! hasselblad!!!, beat that pentax anytime!!!!
lol it's crushes me but it's the truth
@@MikeGrayFilm one tip, with the pentax, as it is an slr, perhaps you didn't load the film right, aka had a loose connection to the spool, giving the film on the gate a chance to curl, letting light into the film, OR a door seal, or gasket on the sprocket pin locks which were old, and leaked light.
the difference with the hasselblad is it has a magasine, which loads sideways, and with a metal baffle, the lip on the mag goes inside a groove on the shell, to keep light out; also as it is 6x6 the film path is shorter and has a metal guide rail, so less chance of the film curling, a distinct advantage of this system camera design, like the Fuji GX 680, Bronica GS\SQ\Etrsi and others.
Hopefully, Pentax will reintroduce a new 67, soon…🤷🏾♂️🤷🏾♂️😏
Indeed!
Oh no😯
I know haha
A1 acting 🎭
Thanks Stacey!
Sorry about the 67. I’m sure it can be repaired. No worries.
It should be fine
ima let the algorithm beat yo ass for not making more videos . me and my gf used to watch these every week. im just messin ik life get in the way of this internet shit so take your time and keep making stuff.
also getting into shooting street may open your eyes to differnt ideas abit when it comes to the way you view and capture your editorial story telling, maybe a sense of mtion a sense of being the director and understanding things that cant be controlled.
100%! I promise you we are going to get the ball back rolling with these videos
After this you gotta do a blaxploitation type short film you're halfway there lol
😂😂😂
You seem off bro. Hope your well.
Haha I’m good bro. Just was super tired as I’ve been traveling non stop the past month! I’m back to my normal self now!
My inner rocky fanboy absolutely loved this one, u smashed it as always!!🫡
thanks a lot!!
