Great sound so well done. The rear engine exhaust manifold is what restricts the early cast iron NSX models. With a tubular exhaust you will feel the intake open then soon after the VTEC at least on my '91 Japanese model. I believe the first cars were restricted to 270HP by the gentleman's agreement between car manufactures so the cheapest way was to make the rear log manifold restrictive. I changed to an 02 NA2 manifolds and it completely changed the feeling of power plus very responsive. The NSX Prime group do not seem to have the same big difference with this change.
I was thinking the same. Definitely short gears. It should drop from 8krpm to around 4500rpm. He went from 8krpm to roughly 6krpm. You are enjoying a spunkier feeling NSX. You are lucky.

The gearing seems closer ratio to other nsx pull that I've seen, especially from 1st-2nd gear
