Very nice! That is the dream right there! Looks amazing with the gold BBS. I was going to get one 15 years ago but life got in the way. I would love to see more classic jdm/dsm cars 👍
Great sound so well done. The rear engine exhaust manifold is what restricts the early cast iron NSX models. With a tubular exhaust you will feel the intake open then soon after the VTEC at least on my '91 Japanese model. I believe the first cars were restricted to 270HP by the gentleman's agreement between car manufactures so the cheapest way was to make the rear log manifold restrictive. I changed to an 02 NA2 manifolds and it completely changed the feeling of power plus very responsive. The NSX Prime group do not seem to have the same big difference with this change.
If your 6 foot then you probably can feel your hair touch the roof when sitting in the OEM seats. When you put on a helmet for the track it is really difficult. I changed the drivers seat to a low slide rail bucket seat. This solved the height issue and also the body movement on track as the leather seats even with a 4 point harness do not stop movement. Change the steering wheel to a Momo D shape flip up which will solve the high bucket seat sides when getting in and out but will give you direct feeling to the car. Check the harmonic balancer for wear as it is hard to see but disintegration of the rubber is common which will make the cam belt jump some teeth and goodbye engine.

We couldn't possibly sell it for much less than it's worth lol. Just spent $6k on Vespa scooters and the Humvee broke the bank 😂

@@tonynguyen9641 While it's not forsale at the moment I'd say realistically it's worth around $60k. Prices are all over the place depending where you live. If the channel starts gaining some popularity who knows maybe give it away 😂

The fuel cut may be tied to the CEL. NSX has a fuel cut if engine is not warmed up. My guess is you paid 45k for it. Since it is a 1992, is it in the snap ring transmission issue range? Check the number on the transmission.

The gearing seems closer ratio to other nsx pull that I've seen, especially from 1st-2nd gear
Yea I dunno.....🤔 maybe it has a shortened gear set we don't know about. Have to look into it.
I was thinking the same. Definitely short gears. It should drop from 8krpm to around 4500rpm. He went from 8krpm to roughly 6krpm. You are enjoying a spunkier feeling NSX. You are lucky.

Those BBS LM wheels where factory options when new in Japan. I have the same wheels in silver. Very common to see them on NSX. Strange it didn’t fit, perhaps different offsets for NA2 cars.

Before going too HAM on the car, I would do the timing belt/water pump, coolant hoses, and all the fluids and valve adjustments since your in there. VTEC is kicking in at about 5800 like it should (you can hear it, in the NSX the power curve is very linear so you don't really feel VTEC like you do in other Hondas) but it is weird that you are hitting a fuel cut at 7500 ish.

At 131k miles, non running, missing seat, iffy paint. I'd say around 35k for the NSX. Any less is a steal worthy of jail time.
