For more than 20 years now, I own a Flevo Trike. I very much enjoyed your explanation of your bike and enjoyed the race thast You Tube puts up after your movie.
Wow! Just Wow! That's about as pimped-out as it gets! Very nicely done I might add! The Sunrider is a very nice platform to start with. A motor is the darkside... Once someone goes to the darkside, they never return.... ;-)
That is a really fine example of an absolutely classic velomobile. Whoever buys that will be very lucky indeed. As an aside I learned to drive in a 2CV back in the 70s. That was my Mum's car actually. Then when I had to drive a "normal" car later I had to relearn everything.
Wish I had more money, its a shame velomobiles in general aren't cheaper we'd see a lot more on the road. Ideal single person transport especially with pedal assist.
Just having it as single speed without electrical assist should keep the price below 2000$. If you want motorized transport so badly just get a cheap car.
I'm in the U.S. and these aren't nearly as common around here, however I have seen one in my area. I haven't been able to talk with them, but as spring comes hopefully I will see it around and get a chance to talk with whoever owns it. I would love to try one. I have some very long steep hills on my commute of about 15 miles each direction, so not sure how practical it would be for a daily commuter. Possibly with the electric assist it would be feasible. What is the mileage range under all electric or have you tried that?
I don’t think you are able to go full electric as the motors are as a boost to get you to speed and usually cut out at around ten to twelve mph/ seventeen to nineteen kph
When I was pricing these years back the base price was 5400 pounds. Very base. None of the finer things like rims, electric hub, forget about the carbon hood! If I had 11000 pounds I'd make an offer. I don't count though because I don't live in the UK!
Those are strong magnets cheap on ebay and amazon I have them on my metal door I can't pull one off I use a stack of magnets to remove one from my door
Hey John when you make a video, please don't sniff or snort back through your nose, as the sound on the video of you sucking back on your snot is terrible. Otherwise, I love your work mate. Regards Craig- Adelaide, South Australia.

the first company to make these affordable will take over the commuting market! i really want one but the price is unrealistic
Leiba is not too expensive.
The Classic model costs less than 5500€.
Made in Germany.

brighton dude I've owned two 2cv's. Fantastic cars, I really think that I should of held on to them.
I live in a town on a 3% hill and sometimes I think really hard about E assist. Great comparison with the side by side. You get all the fun jobs! Lol
damrunner1 this one was very enjoyable

Lee Harrison it's a lovely machine, if you check out the secondhand market it's possible to find one at a reasonable price occasionally.
Lee Harrison In the german "Velomobil Forum" there is currently an Alleweder for sale. It is only 1350€

Roman Gillund Hi there, yep the e - assist would be fine, especially with a spare battery.

I looked into purchasing some a year or so ago and they told me they'd stopped production of the 20 inch variation.
