Now if someone could find an updated firmware to install carplay that would be great.I was able to update my 2018 Camry with the carplay firmware. Lexus owe us this since they did away with remote start due to the 5g update.

1. Toyota/Lexus won't do that because it requires a lot of time and money to do so that it'd make it useless, they could easily instead just make you pay for a new car. This "update" also requires new hardware to be installed into the vehicle before you can think of even updating the software for compatibility. It would be a major waste of time to Toyota.
2. It was partly Toyotas fault as they kept installing 3G DCMs even on 2017 models and 2018 GX (essentially the vehicles that don't have the DCM signal bar until 2018). It was also the fault of telecommunications providers (Verizon) for shutting the networks down that make it possible.

I have GS F-sport 2013 with 8'' screen. The only update is for 2015 with 12'' screen. Did anyone try to install this update in such version ?

Looks like Lexus discontinued the Enform app now we have to use the Lexus app. It works but not that good!

The dealer is being very lazy they keep making excuses saying they have to postpone the schedule.. maybe because It’s free? I still have the car warranty w.e but does this work on the 2015 es 350? Sorry idk anything about cars

LEX508, have a 2013 GS350 F-Sport and I saw people sharing that the link you have sent does not show 2013 year and model. With that said 2013-2015 are essentially same vehicles and I am willing to download the 2015 version and give it a go. Any idea what are the chances to screw things up on the current version? It is a 2011 so it will not be a huge loss but wanted to ask. 😁

I have not tried as there is a possibility to screw the software up plus getting 2015 is not worth it to be honest. Rather use my phone at this point.@@anthax1

Yeah, unfortunately, updates are up to Lexus. Check back in a couple of months. You might get lucky.

You have to go check the website and see if there are any updates if so yes it will work I had a 2014 GS350 F-SPORT and it worked for me back then.

That's odd like you said it's the same thing.
what file should I download it to? Because, every time I try my car says file is incompatible.
You have to go through the menu and pick the file they give you, and follow the instructions online.

That makes no sense the map should show you where you are exactly.
