The next predator or AVP film should have *NOTHING* to do with earth, or humans. I want to see these species fight without our interference on an alien world, and have a 3 way skirmish with the Engineers too.
Dr. Evil I wouldn't mind seeing a movie about the early encounters between the Yautja and Xenomorphs. I'd especially love to know how the heck they manage to capture Xenomorph queens alive.
@Sheik Yerbouti I mean it would be all subtitles basically if there werent people involved in some capacity. An i actually like all 3 of them interacting with eachother because at this point they should all know that one another exists I think it would be interesting to see an outbreak of xenomorphs on earth (similar to the earth war comics) that ends up with heavy predator involvment either to aid the humans an ensure they have the capacity to reinitiate a hunt using humans in the future or just to check up on one of there favorite hunting spots an end up finding it in extreme disarray due to the xenomorphs
@Sheik Yerbouti yeah i like that i wish that the predators had more story to them in general on screen like their home world an their society, from the humans perspective all they've really gathered is that they hunt other species
Or I would want to see them come to earth and just waste humans it’s against, like “ yeah you have killed a handful of our Youngblood hunters, but now a full Hunter is here and there’s nothing any of you can do to stop it’s hunt
A being whose vision was based on heat would prefer cold areas, not hot ones, so their targets would stand out against the background. The fact that predators prefer warmer climates would have nothing to do with their thermal vision.
"Predators are usually equipped with a biomask which allows it to see in infrared. Which is why the yautja more often than not prefer to hunt in areas effected in extreme heat..." wait... what? Wouldn't a lot of ambient heat make it harder for the predator to see its target in this case?
TheAero1221 that was the exact problem the films had trying to use an infra red camera. I usually see the hot locations being explained as them natively being a tropical species and thusly more comfortable in high heat conditions.
""Predators are usually equipped with a biomask which allows it to see in infrared. Which is why the yautja more often than not prefer to hunt in areas effected in extreme heat..." wait... what? Wouldn't a lot of ambient heat make it harder for the predator to see its target in this case?" I think thats the idea, to make it more challenging for them.
Hartzilla2007 they also hunt in extreme heat because it mimics the temperature back on their home planet Yautja Prime, which was desert like and had volcanic activity.
I would like to think that Xenomorph was made to fight the predators, knowing that the engineers was able to fight with tech, but with living weapons, it be cool that the engineers were at war with the predators race
Maybe they dumped bunch of xenomorphs on predators hoping to wipe them out, but predators won, and now their former fight for survival turned into a tradition, where they hunt xenomorphs for sport and honor.
classicfrog80 with that I agree, and for trying to wide them, they launched retaliation on them, but now, starting with the first Alien movie all of the engineers are dead and now there is only us and the predators, Xenomorphs, maybe a few other alien races that hasn't been shown in the comics or the movies
Not sure the timing works out on it. Plus I think the Xenomorphs as a weapon proved to be uncontrollable, and too dangerous even to the engineers. Seems more like the lost control of them, and were wiped out in some places, and the Predators just discovered them an found it especially worthy prey worth hunting, and keeping a few of alive to make more.
Manny Santiago true, but I thought having these at war, would explain why all of the engineers are dead, if count the one from Alien to Prometheus, making them almost extinct or close to it, having Yautja being different from the war to now, where now they don't a worthy opponent to fight in warfare, so now they send one or three to hunt the best or the most dangerous enemies they can found, think if the Klingon Empire became the power in the Galaxy, instead fight each other they seek out worthy opponents to keep their skill sharp, and if Klingons could live for hundreds of years at a time
Manny Santiago The theory of the Predators at war with the Engineers is just fan speculation. Ridley Scott(director of Prometheus and Alien Covenant) called the AVP Movies *Silly* in an interview talking about Alien Covenant. You can tell Ridley Scott will say *no* to the theory of the Engineers being at war with the Predators since he hates AVP Movies with a passion😆
There's some detail here that has been overlooked. The Yautja that hunt humans tend to be the "Unblooded" rank, IE Yautja on their first main hunting experience. They're given a variety of weapons and tools without needing to "earn" them ritualistically as they'd have to later on. Once a Yautja has completed that hunt then they become "YoungBloods" and are sent to hunt Xenomorphs as seen in the first AvP movie as a rite of passage. Obviously this doesn't always go to plan, but the main detail that this video overlooks is that depending on the species that gets attacked by a face-hugger, different types of Xenomorph are created. This is why in AvP2 a far more experienced hunter goes to hunt the Yautja-Xenomorph. Given that Predator 2 shows a whole host of different types of alien skulls, its' unreasonable to assume that Yautja only hunt with humans and/or Xenomorphs. It could be that the Yautja use captured Xenomorph Queens to "manufacture" dozens or maybe hundreds of different types of Xenomorphs to hunt, and given the Yautja's opinion of humans as generally inferior, its' unlikely that the Xenomorphs that we make when we get face-hugged are considered as dangerous as some other possible combinations, particularly the Yautja-Xenomorph.
Avp2, i just cant see whats going on in key scenes of the film. like zero dark thirty, good film, but during the bin laden raid, i can't see anything. i have a couple of friends on the teams, they were disappointed too.
I preferred the second AVP game while it looks dated compared to what can be made now the atmosphere, dialogue and events are tied in such a way where you cant help but be immersed. whilst the third game's atmosphere felt like pandering the movie franchise.
Honestly I loved AvP 1, playing marine on hardest difficulty was the best FPS experience I had so far. Making it brutally survival, fast and adrenaline tense. I almost got heart-attack once when facehugger got me. Second game was good, but it slowed down and didn't pose so much challenge as AvP 1, however even second has it's "wau!" moments. However it had more story into it and interesting level design.

Autumn the Border Collie in alien vs predator extinction predalien queen was maded but normal it won't happen just because the queen is pureblood alien no matter what it's born from
Personally, I would reboot the AvP in film. I would make a "Predator" film that takes place in the future, but the main human characters work for Weyland-Yutani. It would also show how the androids (or "artificial people", as Bishop prefers) deal with the Predators, and delve well into the "Yutani" half of the infamous company. That, or maybe in another film involving the Engineers, maybe have a dead Predator floating about in a tank, as a subtle nod to the Xenomorph skull in Predator 2. A cameo. Maybe have a human remark that it is "one ugly motherfucker".
What about a predator movie that features only Predators. No humans, no xenomorphs, just Predators. The plot of the movie will focus on a young Predator trying to prove himself to his clan.
The issue with an only Predator film is that although ritual combat/sparring contributes to their social standing a huge part of their society revolves around "The Hunt". They'd have to hunt something to prove themselves, the more deadly the prey the higher the respect. They could hunt something besides the usual prey but it's already established that Humans and Xenomorphs are quite high on the scale. To neglect the hunt from a Predator film would be foolish.
.....you mean, reaffirm what an assclown you are..? Well, yes - good job with that... A bit redundant, perhaps; _buuut,_ good job all the same. (_btw; you really might want to get that seen to... Having that big of a stick up your rectal cavity can't possibly be good for your health!_)
I genuinely enjoyed the first avp I love the story of the honoring of the xenomorphs and sacrifice...to prove their worth....ya gotta love the predators..!!!!!
I wonder if, in the AvP continuity, the Yautja / Hish (Predators) were one the few species who survived the machinations of the Engineers (Space Jockey). The Engineers used the xenomorphs to wipe planets clean of domestic life and terraform them to their own designs. The Predator species managed to resist and eliminate the xenomorph infestation on their homeworld and/or perhaps other worlds in their domain. The Yautja then learned how to breed them for hunting after the xenomorph's Engineer masters were either wiped out or left. Sure it is fan fiction on my part but seems to fit what we are shown in the films and some of the games, particularly _Aliens vs. Predator_ (2010).
The comics cover this in detail, in the comics after the events of aliens, the sulaco is boarder by a second ship, they grab ripply and take her to the aliens home world (the second ship cam in and snatched the info and stuff from the derilict ship while the sulacos crew was planet side, figured out their home world, and vwala, you find the aliens acid blood is a self defence thingy cuz the shit on the alien home world make them near the bottom of the food chain) and the engineers and predators found them on this world, to be the weakest and most managable of critters to use for terraforming as the engineres use them, or hunts as the preds use them. in fact it all ties up in the end with a preditor,vs aliens, vs terminator deal some time after alien resurrection, (and preditors just hook aliens onto what ever and hunt, they dont prefer humans, we just know of the shit they DID to humans in the movies)
Dude ! I read that comic as a kid back in 1991. My friend Brandon was like "Bro check this out by Dark Horse comics..." Thought it was the coolest thing ever !!
A great multimedium summary of the relationship as portrayed in first party publication. PS: I've enjoyed this channel for about a year, maybe 2, but I'm especially appreciating all your work and content during my deep dive of your channel this month. Next time someone releases a decent AvP or Colonial Marines game, you're the guy I want to be in a bug crusher squad with.
Damon Lindelof and Ridley Scott has stated that the inconsistencies in Prometheus were intentional as they wanted no connection to the AVP films. Which is fine with me as I consider those films to be more Adaptations of the comics than actual canon.
I am not disagreeing with that, but the original intent of AVP was to adapt the original miniseries, and there are still elements from the original draft that I would still consider an adaptation
rosygirl3323 AND they inspired a truly infamous fanfic called “The lusty xenomorph maid” which is perhaps the only thing that has ever made the jaded Space Station 13 community say “oh dear gods, why? Just... Why?”
can u please do a video on how the predators and engineers fit together I've looked everywhere and can't find anything I just wanna know if they've come in contact besides in the comic book where they get in a fight
Loved the movie.....which was underrated. A worthy member of the Alien-Predator movie franchises. I loved the movie's back-story. Thanks for a great video!
In the original movie the Predator was able to mimic Dutch while not wearing the mask. The mask (or possibly a device located inside the mask) allows the Predator enhanced, more accurate mimicry abilities than they are otherwise naturally capable of.
I have my own theory for the Xenomorph/Yautja War. The Xenomorph originated from the Yautja homeworld, only they were originally significantly weaker. They lacked acid blood and parasitic nature. The Yautja hunted them down to neat extinction for pure sport. However, multiple centuries later, during a war between the Predators and Engineers, the Engineers found a surviving Xenomorph queen and modified it's DNA, creating the first parasitic Xenomorph. However, the captive Aliens broke free and wiped out the entire Engineer army. This lead to to the Xenomorph's being respected and feared for their strength and ferocity. The two species have been at war ever since.
I just happened here during a search wondering about this exact video this popped up and it was great! And they way you politely asked for comments and thumbs up I was just like yes to it all I enjoy your channel very much sir :)
Good explanation. I like how you touched on the Predators not killing unarmed, internally ill and pregnant women. I've noticed that as well but didn't consider that it's because it was seen as unsportsmanlike. Good explanation. I think they are curious of human behavior as well. As seen in P2, the Predator wanted to help the humans fight the Jamaican cartel until they turned against him.
i remember when AVP came out, and the scene where the Predators are being over run by hordes of aliens on top of the temple was a awe inspiring moment that even tho the film had it issue, some of the visually used in it were truly awe inspiring
So, if xenomorphs were around thousands of years ago I guess it's safe to say David didn't really "create" them, but only "rediscovered" them in Covenant?
Love how your focusing on Alien Covenant disproving Avp when if you watch the very first alien fist contact with the xenomorphs is in the future with space travel being possible by humans and cryostasis also, yet avp tries to make out aliens existed in our modern day
@degree7 Rather hypocritical calling the series "dumbest movies ever" and calling me myopic. You're must be a joy to be around I'm sure the way you love to insult people.
I like the way you have explained and timeline the Predator series. What is your rating on the Predator movie where they kidnap humans (all con, killer and Merc's) air drop them on a planet to hunt them? One Predator was prisoner and from a different tribe? Thank You!
i never watched the films but the predators were always a source of terror for me in my nightmares, it's good to know I'd be safe because of my physical disabilities. Never been so happy to have chronic pain XD
I have to admit that I always look forward to your take on these creatures. I don’t always agree with your findings, but they are so irrelevant that they really don’t matter. Thank you again for input.
MysterySeeker The main thing I noticed was the time for the Engineer's sacrifice. The original upload said something like 6 AD and the reupload says 3.2 million BC.
I'm still confused why Predators would choose to hunt in hot areas with their heat vision. Wouldn't that be like using night vision in really bright places?
jamie perryman Tell me more about this. I vaguely remember hearing something but don't recall anything solid. Blade Runner and Alien are in the same universe?
This actually doesn't pose a problem. Ignore Prometheus, ignore Alien:Covenant and you are left with the interesting backstory of AVP and the Spacejockeys, where the real origins of the xenos remain a mystery. So, fixed it for you :)
Fact is though that Prometheus and Alien Covenant are actually canon whilst the AVP films are not. Although this can still not be a problem, since it could be theorised that the Engineers created the xenos a long, long time ago and some Predators stole some specimens or the Engineers gave some to them. Problem solved.
Personally, I think Alien Covenant will show a new origin for the Xenomorph, something involving the black goo from Prometheus and the life forms from planet covenant. Maybe the Xenomorph is some kind of already dangerous giant insectoid lifeform (the so called protomorph) infected with the black good and made even more dangerous. My bet is, the Alien lifecycle (egg, facehugger, chestburster and xenomorph) is something caused by the black goo, while the caste system (drone, warrior and queen) is something natural to the "protomorph". Why did I mentioned it all? Because I think it may break continuity with the lore established by the "Alien Versus Predator" movies, that's why.
Marco Túlio Todeschini Coelho It wont.... This film shows the PROTOMORPH creation, not the XENO. In Alien its stated that the engineer in the derelict has been there thousands of years...WITH XENO EGGS. But where is the XENO who laid those eggs so long ago.... That Answer is what the biggest tie in to all the films is.
NOFACE WHITESHOES Who knows? Maybe time travel explain it. Maybe the Xenomorph is another "child" of the Engineers, created in a barren planet devoid of life when an Engineer drank the black goo. If humankind and the xenomorph were created the same way, it might explain why the Engineers consider "man" another failure.
Marco Túlio Todeschini Coelho To be fair, the Weyland-Yutani Report states that the crew of the Nostromo didn't carbon date the stractures in _Alien._ The report went on to say that none of the Nostromo crew(with the exception of Ash) were trained or has a degree in *Archeology.* In other words, Weyland-Yutani Corporation took the findings of the Nostromo crew with a grain of salt.
No here's how I interpret it the engineers or space jockeys found the xenomorphs used them for war worshiped them as gods and even cracked their genetic code to make the black goo the xenomorphs existed long before Prometheus these alien prequels are just creating new variations basically
I’m kind of a fan of old monsters, The Wolfman, Frankenstein, Dracula. Tell you the truth I’ve really not been that interested in newer horror characters..until the alien versus predator movies started coming out. The movies have been OK, but I think it’s the creatures them selves that are the draw. Thanks so much for the explanation, I wouldn’t have figured that all out myself, for sure!
In Predators, Noland spoke of two sub-species of predators. He said something along the lines of dogs and wolves. Where can I find out more about this?
Dude, did anybody tell you you sound just like Hicks from Aliens?? . You kick ass in the class. I like your commentary about the alien v.s. Predators series from dark horse comics. Love it.👍
I'm no expert of the Alien's movies or the Aliens vs predator movies, but I feel it's all jumbled up and not really too tied together. The Prometheus movie feels like it's far in the future and it introduces the beginning of the Aliens, but at the same time how the hell does the chronological timing of humanity fit into any of these movies? lol so confusing
In every film we see Xenomorph's in the humans are totally unprepared and have never seen a Xenomorph before and don't believe they exist. So I was wondering how would a group of colonial marines fare against the Xenomorph's if they knew exactly what they were dealing with and had to time to prepare and plan how to fight and attack the Xenomorph's?
Think the marines would find success. Powerful weaponry should be effective against aliens, strength in numbers and finding suitable terrain to focus fire on a stream of aliens would be ideal right? How intelligent are the aliens? Wouldn't they be easy to lure into unfavorable terrain?
James Devon Why? It did great job bringing the chronicle back to Alien first movie. Or maybe you didnt remember/watch the first alien? It will be terrible if they make another one just because people want to know about 'engineer' origin.
@@Brakiri oh look, someone who thinks his memories are more important than objective judgment, I kinda liked prometheus and covenant, left me a bitter aftertaste but meh, at least hes doing its own thing, but clearly superior to any 80's and 90's cringefest, gosh those movies are just total shit, basically 80's horror is todays comedy... they mostly come at night.... mostly 😂😂😂 what a pile of garbage, storywise, dialogues, acting, special effects... id rather watch the hitchcock movie about birds honestly LOL
I consider the Alien reference in Predator 2 as a joke on the part of the producers. And now there is a subgenre of comic depicting them as these eternal enemies. It is a bit sad.
It was actually during Predator 2 that it became apparent the Yautja have encountered the Xenomorphs. During a scene when Harrigan is inside the Yautja ship, you can see there is a Xenomorph skull on display, alongside skulls of numerous other species, including human. This would suggest them being trophies and in turn, Xenomorphs being one of the species of their hunts.
All games about AVP are called AlienS vs PredatoR. People are thinking that alien is not so strong as young blood yautja only because of his weapons. They are stupid. Remember Grid. He fought two predators and won. That's means that Xenomorph is physically and mentally stronger than a yautja with all his weapons.
Xenomorph_ Hunter but thoses yautjas were unblooded. So they where on there way to becoming young blood. Even Doe all of them died,Scar killed all of them even the queen with the help of Alexa woods so I guess that means one predator is better than a hundred.
so says you, a random on the internet. Fox however has said no such thing and as they own the both franchises(Alien franchise and the Predator franchise), it is canon until they say otherwise. seriously annoying to see people constantly say it isn't canon when they have no right to say that.
This doesn’t really cover the history. More the first comic and movie. But doesn’t cover Lord Predator, the first hunt, how the hunting practices generally led to a war.
I just came across this video on my xbox. I'm a huge fan of alien and predator and I thought your explanation was awesome. I never knew there was predator comics. I'd love to see a movie about predator home planet or something of that sort. They are definitely my favorite badass.
the yautja and xenomorphs sound like Samurai and Rouge- ninjas, where Yautja are samurais... honourable, killing themselves on losing... the idea comes from there... like if you agree.
their relationship is a perfect example of "when I see you it's on sight"
HAHAHAHAHA
Essentially lol
Lol hecka true
🤣🤣🤣🤣

I hope the new predator movie will be dark ,the predator needs to re establish itself as a real bad ass ,instead of dying everytime they visit earth
Tuco The rat Shane black at the helm I think we're in for a treat :)
Hopefully
whats the name of it i havent heard of it yet
Bobby , THE PREDATOR
To be fair the predator only really dies due to bad luck in the films.
I love how much back story these franchises have...complete histories are intense.

I believe that Yautjas prefer warm climates due to being reptilian in nature.
Maybe they hunt in hotter environments to make it more difficult, further solidifying they're right of passage?

I would think that the high heat makes the bodies of living beings in the forest have a higher core temp, making them easy to spot

I wonder how cool a Predalien Queen would look.
(Basically, if a Royal Facehugger impregnated a Yautja.)
I think it'd still look like a regular queen.
GoldenWolf115
You really think so? Chestbursters do take on some physical traits of their host.
Autumn the Border Collie in alien vs predator extinction predalien queen was maded but normal it won't happen just because the queen is pureblood alien no matter what it's born from
There's all ready a Predqueen look it up on Google images
_Draxin_
Oh, I had no idea. Thanks for telling me.
I like this channel, the information is tight!
i think you meant vagina
Marty Mcfly lol at least he tried
Cool profile pic
elcucuy feo that's what she said
Personally, I would reboot the AvP in film.
There are many other species for them to hunt, doesnt have to be either for the first movie.
SO many places it could go.
.....you mean, reaffirm what an assclown you are..? Well, yes - good job with that... A bit redundant, perhaps; _buuut,_ good job all the same.
(_btw; you really might want to get that seen to... Having that big of a stick up your rectal cavity can't possibly be good for your health!_)
Just found this, I like how you put this all together. Flows really good and the info learned kept me wanting more. Kudos!
The comics cover this in detail, in the comics after the events of aliens, the sulaco is boarder by a second ship, they grab ripply and take her to the aliens home world (the second ship cam in and snatched the info and stuff from the derilict ship while the sulacos crew was planet side, figured out their home world, and vwala, you find the aliens acid blood is a self defence thingy cuz the shit on the alien home world make them near the bottom of the food chain)
and the engineers and predators found them on this world, to be the weakest and most managable of critters to use for terraforming as the engineres use them, or hunts as the preds use them.
in fact it all ties up in the end with a preditor,vs aliens, vs terminator deal some time after alien resurrection,
(and preditors just hook aliens onto what ever and hunt, they dont prefer humans, we just know of the shit they DID to humans in the movies)
Dude !
I read that comic as a kid back in 1991. My friend Brandon was like "Bro check this out by Dark Horse comics..." Thought it was the coolest thing ever !!
Having the thought of making the pyramides a landing pad for their vessels was a genius & believable idea..amazing..!!
Which is fine with me as I consider those films to be more Adaptations of the comics than actual canon.
lol those had nothing to do with the comics. the AVP films were a big FUCK YOU to the comics and fans.
I am not disagreeing with that, but the original intent of AVP was to adapt the original miniseries, and there are still elements from the original draft that I would still consider an adaptation
At Least predators Have Honor and aren't Completlely heartless
GarrettDa Panda they can even accept a human into their clan.
Xenomorphs are much cuter and sweeter
Well, may be they have a religion too, but still, we dont know much about them
rosygirl3323 AND they inspired a truly infamous fanfic called “The lusty xenomorph maid” which is perhaps the only thing that has ever made the jaded Space Station 13 community say “oh dear gods, why? Just... Why?”
Reinbach wow XD
can u please do a video on how the predators and engineers fit together I've looked everywhere and can't find anything I just wanna know if they've come in contact besides in the comic book where they get in a fight
Loved the movie.....which was underrated. A worthy member of the Alien-Predator movie franchises. I loved the movie's back-story. Thanks for a great video!
Thanks for taking the time to make this
In the original movie the Predator was able to mimic Dutch while not wearing the mask. The mask (or possibly a device located inside the mask) allows the Predator enhanced, more accurate mimicry abilities than they are otherwise naturally capable of.
It looks like i am one of the few who like the AVP movie (the second one sucks)
dont kill me
Desolate Carnage I like them both but 1 one is easily the best
avp are great, prometheus and covenant were dogshit.
I enjoyed Requiem but it's only cause I viewed Wolf as the protagonist, but God almighty that movies dark (literally)
Not too bad as per the comic.
first was good, second was shit...the female lead in the first film is a lot better compared to the female lead in prometheus and alien covenant
Vortex Interrogation hey, that's pretty good.
+Terry Mcginnis Thank you.
Vortex Interrogation Very Nice
+NOFACE WHITESHOES Thank you.
Your videos are super informative and extremely easy to listen to and understand.
I just happened here during a search wondering about this exact video this popped up and it was great! And they way you politely asked for comments and thumbs up I was just like yes to it all I enjoy your channel very much sir :)
When the predator replays someone's voice in different tones i think hes hearing what it sounds like in his home atmosphere.
5:45 Every time I see this scene from AVP, I laugh a little at the alien wagging its tail like a cat. 😂😂😂
lol im ded
Makes sense xenomorphs were originally designed to be a mix between a cat and a snake. A blending of two predators as it were.
That was so good man. Explained clearly and answered a lot of questions I had.
Its one of the best crossovers. I had to use my fantasy to piece the story together. Love it.
i remember when AVP came out, and the scene where the Predators are being over run by hordes of aliens on top of the temple was a awe inspiring moment that even tho the film had it issue, some of the visually used in it were truly awe inspiring
I like the way the AVP movie explained their relationship.
So, if xenomorphs were around thousands of years ago I guess it's safe to say David didn't really "create" them, but only "rediscovered" them in Covenant?
💯
Hope you're well fella, been out of the loop for a bit. Really have a lot to catch up on, great content as usual! I'm pigging out!
Well done. This was a very well crafted video. Keep up the good work!
No spoilers but Alien covenant literally makes the AvP film origins impossible.
AvP arent considered canon. They are 3 separate universes.
Love how your focusing on Alien Covenant disproving Avp when if you watch the very first alien fist contact with the xenomorphs is in the future with space travel being possible by humans and cryostasis also, yet avp tries to make out aliens existed in our modern day
Really... In the first Alien Movie. The damn Engineers ship is seen crashed on the planet. That the Aliens had got loose in. Thus the ship crashed...
@degree7 You're views not mine and many others. As Manston said, 3 separate universes. Just enjoy mate
Really cool work you do for us AT, thanks for filling in all the missing gaps, we appreciate the time and hard work!....logged
is this a re-upload?
hiram castillo Yeah to correct the information in the last vid.
What did he get wrong?
MysterySeeker The main thing I noticed was the time for the Engineer's sacrifice. The original upload said something like 6 AD and the reupload says 3.2 million BC.
I'm still confused why Predators would choose to hunt in hot areas with their heat vision. Wouldn't that be like using night vision in really bright places?
Skirmish they choose to hunt in heat because its very similar to their home world climate :) yautja prime
Please do a video on the Colonial Marine Corps, thanks.
Dont forget they added the Bladerunner stuff into these too
jamie perryman Tell me more about this. I vaguely remember hearing something but don't recall anything solid. Blade Runner and Alien are in the same universe?
TheJenSolo The Weyland from Prometheus and Tyrell were good friends and ALMOST partners. The info was on the Prometheus dvd bluray special features
www.therobotsvoice.com/2012/10/ridley_scott_just_merged_the_alien_and_blade_runne.php
I am an avp fanatic and love these, keep up the great work.😁
Super glad I found this channel. Perfect
The Yautja should fight those big white human looking things in the very beginning of Prometheus. Those things look like a challenge.
Maybe the engineers from Prometheus were making the zenomorphs to wipe out the predators?
This actually doesn't pose a problem. Ignore Prometheus, ignore Alien:Covenant and you are left with the interesting backstory of AVP and the Spacejockeys, where the real origins of the xenos remain a mystery.
So, fixed it for you :)
Fact is though that Prometheus and Alien Covenant are actually canon whilst the AVP films are not. Although this can still not be a problem, since it could be theorised that the Engineers created the xenos a long, long time ago and some Predators stole some specimens or the Engineers gave some to them. Problem solved.
I love these videos. You do a wonderful job. I am subscribed. Please keep it up.
Great video! Keep the info rolling in.
Marco Túlio Todeschini Coelho aliens versus predator has been retconned and not in canon any longer :) so you're probably right there!
What if predator killed david?
I have a theory:
Humans are screwed.
Love your videos, after watching eight of them I decided that I want to play Alien vs Predator again.
It's really funny seeing people trying to make sense of something that's made up as they go.
It makes perfect sense
So funny
Valken dumb ass
😂😂
I pretend movie alien vs predator doesn't exist
AVP never happened now
In Predators, Noland spoke of two sub-species of predators.
So I was wondering how would a group of colonial marines fare against the Xenomorph's if they knew exactly what they were dealing with and had to time to prepare and plan how to fight and attack the Xenomorph's?
rexattack18 Aliens 5 will give you that... In part it will be a war film. kinda like the colonial marines trailer...
Think the marines would find success. Powerful weaponry should be effective against aliens, strength in numbers and finding suitable terrain to focus fire on a stream of aliens would be ideal right? How intelligent are the aliens? Wouldn't they be easy to lure into unfavorable terrain?
Imagine if the Engineers created Predators by mistake just like the Humans.
Who Created the Engineers?
Great video, new sub. :)
I don't knownanything about Aliens or Predators (besides the movies) this should be a fun channel for me to binge.
The movie explanation oh the controversy is actually my favorite of the story's told about these alien foes
Earth: *Exists*
Predator mofo: It's free real estate
well I know that the alien vs predator film isn't considered canon
Covenant definitely made Alien vs. Predator non canon
Covenant was an abomination of a story.
it didnt tho...David didnt create them (remember the Mural in Prometheus) he re-created them by the blueprints the Engineers left behind.
Just ignore the Prometheus and Alien: David garbage. I don't consider this garbage canon and everyone is free to do the same
James Devon Why?
This would suggest them being trophies and in turn, Xenomorphs being one of the species of their hunts.
like I want to see a movie like Jason vs. Freddy meets Aliens vs Predator
Good video. AVP series is garbage, and an insult to both franchises. A true Predator 3 movie would be amazing.
Fox sucks with doing things with their franchises
Loving the brevity of these clips.
Cant wait for your predator content. Its gonna be awesome.
Who else can't wait for the new Alien Movie 2017
Dakota Wynchester it was ass
It was okay
I liked it
It sucked ass everybody was a idot
gaming DRAGON
Your profile pic looks like ass
All games about AVP are called AlienS vs PredatoR. People are thinking that alien is not so strong as young blood yautja only because of his weapons. They are stupid. Remember Grid. He fought two predators and won. That's means that Xenomorph is physically and mentally stronger than a yautja with all his weapons.
Xenomorph_ Hunter but thoses yautjas were unblooded. So they where on there way to becoming young blood. Even Doe all of them died,Scar killed all of them even the queen with the help of Alexa woods so I guess that means one predator is better than a hundred.
avp isnt canon :/
so says you, a random on the internet.
Alien over predator.........
I've always seen written that Yaujta is actually pronounced Ee-Watt-Yah :p
Thank you
the yautja and xenomorphs sound like Samurai and Rouge- ninjas, where Yautja are samurais... honourable, killing themselves on losing... the idea comes from there... like if you agree.
SKILLS.....love your stuff on PREDATOR & ALIENS Your defo my favourite when it comes to these subjects O)+>
@Alien Theory You should make a playlist that has all of your videos on the "Prometheus, Alien, Predator, & AVP" lore in order.
