Installing a RARE Kit from Japan on my 300zx Z32!

- I have searched for months trying to find a Bomex aero kit for my 300zx. I even went as far as contacting Bomex directly, unfortunately they don't even have the molds for the kits anymore.. so I had to hunt Japanese auctions to find this rare kit taken off of another project car!
The Acura Integra finally gets some love after replacing the B18 engine a few months ago. Shifter slop is to a minimal now!

Z looks so good with this bodykit, match the wheels, paint it and this will be so nice, stay healthy in this type of weather, don't rush the content if it's cold or you don't have a heated space for it, we will wait
I love period correct builds like your Z, especially 90s-00s tuning culture.
I also love that Wings West wing. It suits the Bomex kit really well imo.
I never realised that the parts for the Bomex kit were mostly addons to the car's original bumpers and skirts, though the front bumper's use of the original turn signals and foglights is really cool for Bomex to do.
This kit's gonna look sweet on the car when painted!

I'm glad to see that everyone likes the kit! So many people are haters when it comes to old school body kits. It's a shame, I think they are in denial of their taste in the past. Yeah.. there are some bad ones out there, but you can't deny, this one looks so good!
This wing goes a lot better with the bomex kit than the bomex wing
It looks good man. I knew the mid wing would look dope since it lines up with the stock bumper. I guess all that's left for you to find is the mirrors.

@@PrizzaMike Aero23 makes fiberglass ganador reproductions if you're having a hard time finding a real set. The glass is for left hand drive so you can actually see out of them too

The bomex skirts and rear valance with the bumper and wing is just amazing
The "rino line" at 2:45 is actually factory rust prevention and pretty common on older Japanese cars! My Miata has it too on the bottom of the doors and side skirts. I'm not sure why it's on the bumper too tho

300zx 's have always been one of my favorite cars. I wish you could have seen this triple black 300zx this guy owned that I did work for in my teens. This was like over 20 plus years ago. It was twin turbo'd with 3 piece wheels. He got a speeding ticket in it and almost lost the car because of it. He was a brain surgeon. That car was insane and I will never forget drooling all over it. I was told the car made over 650hp.

i can't even lie, watching everything with the Z has made me fall in love with z32's, i've never been a big z lover but somethings a lot different with the 32
@PrizzaMike - You take off the fog lights by removing the turn signal lights. That gives you easy access. The stock fog lights use a no longer made type of light. The wire splice was added by a previous owner to allow you to install a common light. Those lights work, but tend to burn out in a year or two. Love the kit. Your videos make me really miss my old z32. Working on the engine was a pain, but the rest of the car is put together so well.

That rough texture on the bottom part of the skirts and rear bumper is in fact a rubberized coating under the paint to protect the body from rocks and debris like you thought. It was super popular to put that on cars in the 90s. My 95 fd rx7 has it too. It's hideous.
Lower portion of the rear bumper is called Chip Guard
Pretty funny how this stuff was big in the 90s/early 2000s, then mid-late 2000s became absolutely horrendous, and is now making a comeback. Trends always go in cycles. I'm from the late 2000s OEM+ era, but still love to see this.
I feel like the 5spokes from the carbon fibre hoood integra would look great on the gloria. Like.. they have that oldschool fancy vibe to them, and that would fit the gloria
I've never really trusted myself to get a kit to fit properly but that one is definitely solid. Also those wings are a huge plus. Never mind aero, it makes a great countertop for eatin' your snack. 😎
Not sure if anyone else mentioned it, but if you remove the Z corner lights, you can access the fog lights even easier. I have yellow halogen fog light bulbs in my Z32 as well. Love them. Keep up the excellent work!

The bottom half of the rear bumper, side skirts, & bottom door panels are under coating it’s for rocks to bounce of see it doesn’t chip.
Bomex is a OG, OEM replacement fitment companies. One of the best companies then & now. I love Bomex. Beautiful kit man. 👍

Seeing this kit takes me back. I had a full bomex kit on my GSR back in the mid 2000s. Body kits aren't for everyone but i always thought they were cool. Carbon hood would go so hard with this kit🔥🔥🔥

My cousins husband had one of these 300zx back when they where new, non turbo and still the car was a blast,, I couldn't believe it when I jokingly said let me drive it and he did.. I was about 16 or 17 yes old at the time.

KA Bomex Z32 is craazy, looks great!
You can still use that valve cover on one of your integras. Bolts right on just the same as the obd1 covers. You can also just run the pcv through the valve cover just like an obd2 setup and essentially just bypass the obd1 style pcv setup

@13:19 before you mount thiskit. please please please, use a heatgun. it WILL soften the fiberglass so it can better MOLD to the body panels under neath. use thick gloves and clamps to help hold panels tight while the fiberglass re-cools after heating to mold it. this will do zero damage to the parts and will take away any and all stress on the kit from being mounted while still "out of shape"

for the teggi shifter just swap the shift knob rod portion. like unbolt the part where the main slop was coming from and put your modded one back on.

Incase you were curious it is possible to use the b20 valve cover on a b18 obd1 there is a block off that you use on the back of the block so you can use the pcv valve on top of the valve cover instead did it on mine looks way better than the b18 valve cover for sure
The z looks killer! Curious to see what kind of 90s early 2000s paint scheme you choose. Although the factory color looks great you would always see like some kind of mural on those kind of cars back in the day, keep it up cant wait to see more vids!!🤘
