Orr hear me out just flip the bracket 180 so the ridge is on the bottom effectively lowering the shifter also, might need to bend the bracket slightly but Id think it would work! Just an idea
i mean anyone who hates on mike must be a fuggin idiot. bro does the most random shit to his cars which would take a professional like 5 days and 3 men but this dude disected a whole ass gloria and welded it back together in a month not even working full time on it and still manages to make absolute pieces of art like the gloria and the Z @@Fwdyash
Couldn't have said it better myself. That's why i still enjoy guys like mcm after all these years, just sticking to the roots. Loads of TH-camrs get big and then fvck it all up.by going supercars..
Mike i have trick to avoid issues with Village when you need to take house number off just put over it a towel or T shirt or anything just to cover it and when done just remove cover i think its better than removing whole house number and risking another letter from Village or HOA
Been watching for a while now and if managed and marketed properly, you can easily surpass Donut Media. You capture the raw footage of mechanics and being young at heart. Write a business proposal for your friends and go ALL in, you'll have that house in a year.
Mike it’s not about having the best car the best shop the best everything, sometimes the best can be something that doesn’t look like the best to someone else You stayed real I follow you since the 240 crash and no matter what happens you always stay the same So indeed you are the best Mike Much love from Europe 🫶🏽
Looking past the different panel colors this car is starting to look awesome. The rust will eat through that primer. Good luck on the project. And like I mentioned your skills are hitting that point where you are starting to need a small shop and a lift. I know money is always an issue and you mentioned prices in your area sucks. Good luck young man.
I don't care what anyone else says but you are the best content creator on TH-cam! I've been a viewer of the channel since the 240 incident and you have not strayed away from your vision at all. A lot of other similar youtubers go towards views and clickbait videos just for money and being a big TH-camr but I have not seen or noticed that at all in you mike! From what I've seen you have been having fun, giving everyone amazing information, giving everyone motivation, and making the community smile! Seriously thank you alot dude!
For the dual valve stem wheels. From what i understand, its for when you fill the tires with alternate gasses such as nitrogen. Its used to purge the atmospheric content out.
hey mike! the dual valve stems on wheels are also used for nitrogen purging, as nitrogen is more inert than regular air and also does not contain moisture, it helps keeps tire temperatures stable which is important for racing :)
Loving all the changes and positive progress. I will say though, regarding housing, brother, let me introduce you to the lower mainland BC Canada where your average townhome starts at 700k and houses are 900k to start. in rural, away from city areas. A house like yours here would be in the 1-1.1million range as a heads up. Does it make sense? Not a chance. Keep your head up man, you'll get there eventually
I missed my opportunity to buy a 92' 300zx 2+2 5 speed non turbo a couple years ago but seeing you keeping yours goin makes me happy :D Love the content 💜
Yo little brother, your cars are great and it doesn't matter if you don't have a big shop, as long as you enjoy what you do, that's all that matters. Keep doing what you're doing and keep your content coming.
Yo mike you've come from only integra and 240sx crashed 240 and rebuilded it, bought a gloria and rebuilded it, bought an 300zx and fixed it. I LOVE YOUR CONTENT KEEP IT UP!!!
Looks SOOOO much better. The fab work is getting way better with each project too, the towers cleaned up really nice. And thank you for painting them, gotta preserve your work man! Excited for the next video!
I come here all the time Mike, I'm from the UK but it's usually my go to content to re-watch when its the day before my set of shifts....Keep up the content man.
I feel your z is the sexiest thing ever 😂😂😂😂❤❤❤ love your content bro never stop pleasing your audience. Shout out to Andrew and all the others you show on the channel all u guys are amazing at watching u do love the energy and detailed explanation
Just don't lose yourself on the road to success... and the community becomes a "formality" to mention. You're down to earth and react with your people.
Great to see the Z strut caps getting sorted out. If getting a loan for a new location is currently hard to achieve, could a bunch of car friends and yourself consider putting in together to rent a warehouse/workshop space? Providing everything from basic servicing of the public's cars, a paintshop, a hoist for ease of working, race preperation/repairs, plenty of storage space, RC drift track and customisation service, importing of rare JDM parts to support local market, maybe a skate halfpipe and varoius other car related business based on the skills your friends and yourself have.
The two valve stems are for nitrogen. I used to have 949 racing wheels on my Miata and for the track you should be using nitrogen in your tires because it doesn’t fluctuate pressure at different heats. And just for consistency and purity you want to use one valve stem for filling and draining nitrogen and the other for filling and draining air
See I like a channel like your's most people can relate to the real life struggles of working in the driveway, garage, etc. keep it up Mike awesome videos 👍💯 hell yeah 👍
Regarding your coilovers. You gotta apply some grease, cavity wax, cable grease or whatever on the threads. Just taping the threads up doesn't do shit, as you saw. It actually just gives water and dirt a cozy new home to work their way around. I applied cavity wax on my brand new E46 coilovers when I dialed in the ride height. And everything still ist rust free and smooth as butter. Even though it's my daily driver, and our roada get salted a lot on winter.
Hey Mike try to prevent the dirt and rust on coilovers to wrap them in covers, it cost not much but does a good job. after the two seasons in russia my coilovers still looks like brand new under covers
I told my wife I ordered the triple-pack: sticker, shirt, and bits of the Gloria. She thought it was so awesome. --we're drawing the line at buying used Gloria motor oil, however. Not doing that. ...probably.
@prizzamike something i learned from some diy track guys is using chalk to gauge camber for a specific track the idea is to get it to where off all the chalk evenly in like 1--2 laps. you could try that trick when trying to find where something is rubbing like the tire on the coil. just rub some chalk on the wheel/tire mount it spin take it off. you should see where its rubbing because it should take the chalk off and potentially transfer it to what its rubbing on. ive done this with tires before worked for me
For my car, I made an aluminum plate and cut a smaller hole in the center then riveted on a racequip boot. Leather shift boot fits right over it no issue.
The rust on the coilover threads is why i take my coilovers off the car every 6 months and clean/coat the threads with anti seize. Ive never had coilover threads rust and seize on me.
Love your videos, I watch every one. How about some junkyard visits again in the soon future? That's what got me here, I loved them. Would be amazing even if you don't really search for anything, go around and look at some of the interesting cars as you used to. But I absolutely get it if the schedule is hectic, just if you don't know what to do some day. :D
Mike, could you use the old z top mount to trace out some blanking plates for the old top mount locations? When would stop some road grime getting in. Top work, keep it up bro. 👊
the rate for everything have gone up insanely high good thing i purchased my home during covid-19 when it was easier (2021) (coming from a homeowner that lives in the city chicago) 😥 but hopefully you'll have a space where you can work on your projects without any complaints good thing i never receive complaints when i work on my projects here or that my cars look abandoned
Well deserved that you sold.out so quickly. And yes you dont have the fanciest garage but you're that guy we can all relate to by keeping it real. Just building cool stuff and showing the fvckups along the way. And there's no shame in that. Keep doing what you do man, you're doing great!
Yo Mike I’m sure other people have said it but I think those short shifter kits always typically hit the trans tunnel. Usually people put a piece of foam in between or slightly notch the tunnel
i think the day all cars will have full paint job is gonna be a really good day :)) and thanks Mike i love what you do, i wish i could do the same but its hard in europe
its not about having a big shop or anyting. its the doing it at home in your garage that connects with people. and not having all the tools or supplies. makes people feel like they can also do it.
Hey Mike you should make some stickers of the 300ZX and every little tiny part that you take off of it you should put it in jars just like you did with the Gloria that would be sweet keep up the good work boss
Brother you need to start a llc like mobile mechanic as a job, then buy a small peice of property then use property as collateral and then get a loan for a shop it will be a F.H.A Loan, you absolutely deserve a nice clean space for you and Fran and the cars, you are setting up for life bud don't wait!!! ❤ you doing awesome brother
this isnt the place for it really but i would like to just say i am going lvl 2 diploma next year in college for motor vehicle. i am super happy about this seen as im at the lowest part of the course as of the moment, my passion for cars is overwhelming at times and the urge to drive or work on them is very hard to cope with XD. i have to thank prizzamike / mike for fueling my passion for cars and igniting my love for the 240sx and gloria. hopefully getting the never give up hoodie soon , cant wait for the future uploads!
i have a set of Kosei k1 racing rims and they have two valve stems as well and I've only ran into one other person with rims that have dual valve stems lol i think it cool you have a set as well!
I unfortunately didn’t make it in time for the drop, I was wrapped up with work and by the time I had time to hit the shop page, the ones I wanted were either already sold out or sold out in my size, bummer…. Hopefully next time!
I picked up a 1987 Honda prelude. I’m thinking wheels. First. Maybe radio. But it’s mint. Inside. And super clean. I’m lucky to have it just fall in my lap.
its because u made the shock a fixed length in the jig so it hit the tub right away... they needed to be shorter for the z u should have installed them a lot closer to the stock z location.
Looks like I'm coming back to scan that transmission tunnel to make a cover
Yes please 🙏
lmao
@@Silver_Surfer_7744well well well, another lankan prizzamike enjoyer

Nothing like a fresh slice of Prizza to get the day going. That Z is gonna be so sweet when its painted.

Depression kicks in when you hear the start of "used to you" start playing
I always respect how appreciative you are of the support. Some of these big creators need to take a note!
Your stuff is realistic just a guy and friends who build cars no bs overnight shipping from Japan and massive budget it’s real I love it
For the dual valve stem wheels. From what i understand, its for when you fill the tires with alternate gasses such as nitrogen. Its used to purge the atmospheric content out.

The Bee-R wheels make sense as that is a very JDM tuning shop with high end GTR stuff.
Hi Mike kinda new to your channel I love what you have done to you z I’m currently do the same suspension swap and you videos help me so much

odd wheels my biggest complaint 😂😂 keep up the good work.. if some of your other builds look half as good as the gloria they should be mint
The rust on the coilover threads is why i take my coilovers off the car every 6 months and clean/coat the threads with anti seize. Ive never had coilover threads rust and seize on me.

youre crushing it dude!!! i absolutely love your videos
Love the videos! Keep up the great work buddy!
The two valve stems are there so you can completely purge the air out of the tires and replace them with nitrogen. One to fill, one to suck. 🤙
You're the best, bruh. Don't doubt it. 💪👍
switching to solid motor mounts would fix the trans twisting and hittitng the trans tunnel. or poly if you have oem mounts. i dont recall
Sooooo much better! Love it!
i have a set of Kosei k1 racing rims and they have two valve stems as well and I've only ran into one other person with rims that have dual valve stems lol i think it cool you have a set as well!
Great work brother
If you don’t mind going towards the south side there are plenty of places that are for sale or for lease!
Can't wait for the day to see you hit 500k+ subs your life on the move to change and I couldn't be more excited for you ❤
I feel like when he finally gets a car on 1 set of wheels there should be a celebration lol
It’s so crazy that I first found you on TikTok way before your 240 was even fixed 😮
Enkei nt03 also have the dual valve stems, and andrew is correct on why they have 2
I like how it looks more low now man🔥💪
maybe these two valves are there to extract air and pump nitrogen in its place. motorsport treatment
