- So the story is : I bought my Ultimate dream car - Toyota Sprinter Trueno AE86, and me and my friends decided to drive it back home. From Ireland to Poland, 2000km trip across Europe, through 7 countries, 50 hours of driving. What can possibly go wrong?

Looking at you all guys remind me of me in the early 2000s. Bunch of petrol heads enjoying their life, following their hearts and less their brains. Playing with the rides that give the owner goose bumps.
I'm in my 40s now, adult life caught up. Children, "boring" family wagon, different priorities. 10yrs ago left Poland for Switzerland. I miss those times.
But my dream is (once I raise my kids enough 😉) to slowly come back to the "heart". Whenever I watch your videos I feel like being part of the community again. I want to build those special relationships between people and cars back, and be truly engaged again... for lifetime.

It's all about memories, in 2006 i drove Mk4 Supra from Brighton to Krotoszyn in stop over in Amsterdam,alone. Drove it for around 3 month there, took it to main Toyota dealer for service in Kalisz, all mechanics came over to look at it coz they never seen one before. Then drove in back with my wife back to UK. After 3 years i sold it.Took my little cousin for a drive wich inspired him to love this car. In 2012 he came over a bought a Mk4 Supra, we picked the car from Birmingham drove it to Brighton and then he took it all the way back to Poland alone. With only one stop somewhere in Holland to meet his Father in a Hgv, slept few hours in the cabin and drove home. He got his Supra till this day, i sold mine but always regret it, was one of the best cars i owned. Great episode boys, its all about memories 👍👊

I absolutely adore the way it is filmed. The colours look very 80-90s. He edited it in a way it looks almost unedited but I’m sure a lot of work has gone into this video. I know nothing about Japanese cars and I never been attracted by them. But after this video I was looking at Trueno’s for sale 😂 great great video man!
Where I live, there's a blacked-out chrome rim Crown Vic that's in pristine condition, not one stain or scratch on it, showing up on the highway, goes so fast I can't believe its a Vic, then it disappears. Nothing fills me with more joy inside of me than seeing someone with immense respect and care for classic cars, truly appreciating each horsepower it makes.
This video gave me emotions I haven't felt for a long long time, and it wasn't even me getting the car 🥲 I'm so so so happy for you Sam, almost cried myself 😂 This is definitely an addition to Nightride I never expected. Probably my favorite Nightride episode yet. What a journey! I found my ae86 on craigslist 6 years ago, but only had to drive 45 minutes to pick it up. I would have endured this same voyage knowing what I have gone through with my car and the final outcome. I feel the urge to get some Nightride stickers for my 86 now!

This is a feeling that non car people will never understand. The joy and happiness a car brings it's not just a pile of bolts and an engine on wheels it's so much more. It's hard to describe the feeling but we all understand it. That feeling when you go outside and see your car the connection is real. If this video was 4 hours long I would happily watch every minute of it.
